Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 – Body-Soul Unification & Training

The cold winter air of early 2013 clung to the forest like an invisible cloak. Sunlight struggled through the thick branches, scattering on frost-laced ground. Kurotsuki Tenkai stood barefoot, arms crossed, waiting for the next lecture from his unusual mentor.

Gojo Satoru appeared from behind a tree, sunglasses glinting, white blindfold tied loosely around his neck. In one hand: a thermos. In the other: a bag of convenience-store snacks.

"Ready for your specialized physical and curse energy synchronization training?" Gojo asked, tossing Tenkai a protein bar. "Or do you want to argue about molecular composition first?"

Tenkai smirked, catching it mid-air. "Neither. I'll save that for later."

Gojo plopped down on a log. "Good. Because today, you learn something I call… the weak man's domain."

He twirled his fingers dramatically in the air. A faint blue shimmer formed around him: the Simple Domain. "Ta-da! Simple, yes, but formidable if used correctly. Think of it as a sandbox where you control reality slightly. Not like my signature Blue… but enough to mess with newbies."

Tenkai raised an eyebrow. "Sandbox for the weak, but still functional." He noted the energy flow inside Gojo's Simple Domain, analyzing how the CE interacted with spatial constraints.

Aion's voice chimed softly in Tenkai's head."Heart rate: 121 bpm. Cursed energy flow: 98% efficiency. Optimization ratio improving. Project: Toji+ continuing."

Time flowed differently for Tenkai as he moved through Gojo's exercises. Push-ups, squats, precision jumps—everything had CE integration. Even when doing mundane movements, Aion guided him to maximize energy absorption, body efficiency, and micro-muscle optimization. Tenkai's muscles, tendons, and joints were being refined to match or exceed a Heavenly Restricted body like Toji Zenin.

By January, Tenkai had reached a plateau in physical development. He flexed lightly, testing reflexes and CE flow. Gojo, watching from the side, clapped slowly.

Winter winds brushed across the temple roofs of Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Tenkai stood in the snow-covered courtyard, performing controlled CE breathing, the air steaming around him. But something had changed—his growth had plateaued.

Gojo appeared beside him, sipping hot coffee from a paper cup. "You've hit your ceiling, huh?"

"Seems like it," Tenkai said quietly. "My cursed energy output's stable, but there's no further improvement."

Gojo nodded thoughtfully. "It happens. You're like a supercomputer that's already maxed out its hardware."

He grinned suddenly, as if remembering something. "Don't sweat it, though. I only awakened my Domain last year."

Tenkai raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

"Yup." Gojo puffed out his chest. "And let me tell you, the moment I did, the entire Jujutsu community lost their collective minds. Word got out, and now they jump every time I sneeze."

Tenkai gave him a blank stare. "And you're proud of that?"

"Of course!" Gojo said, placing a hand dramatically over his heart. "Fear is just another form of respect."

Occasionally, Gojo sparred with him. Not because Tenkai couldn't handle it, but to simulate real combat experience. The young genius had never truly fought another human seriously. Tenkai analyzed Gojo's movements, noting the microsecond delays, the curvature of CE flow, and the spin of energy around the joints.

"Alright, Tenkai," Gojo said one afternoon, adjusting his blindfold. "We're going incognito."

By February, they arrived at a secluded forest clearing. The snow muffled sound, and the trees created a natural curtain. Tenkai inhaled deeply. This was where he would finally begin working on his innate technique: Tengen no Riron.

Gojo tilted his head. "Tengen… what now?"

"Tengen no Riron or The Theory of Everything," Tenkai said clearly. "It governs the balance between gravity, time-space curvature, matter-energy equivalence, and soul-body resonance."

There was silence.

Birds chirped. Wind whispered.

And Gojo's brain… lagged.

Gojo blinked. Then blinked again. Then muttered under his breath, "This kid… is unholy."

"Explain it," Gojo demanded, tone half-curious, half-panicked.

Tenkai outlined the full scope of his technique, how it could distort space-time, manipulate gravity fields, affect matter-energy, and even interact with soul-body resonance. Gojo's brain nearly short-circuited. He muttered a mix of incomprehensible syllables while his Six Eyes spun in rapid analysis.

"Had this ever appeared before? Did I miss something in the scrolls?" he thought. "Nope. Absolutely… catastrophic potential. Silence is best."

Finally, he exhaled. "You just described a cursed technique that could rewrite physics."

"It's theoretical for now," Tenkai said. "I've never used it directly. Too dangerous."

Gojo's expression went blank for a full three seconds before he muttered, "You know, when I said I wanted a cool student, I didn't mean 'potentially rewrite existence' cool."

He rubbed the back of his neck, mind racing.

Gravity… time… soul resonance…His Six Eyes could sense faint ripples of something—something fundamental.

While Gojo wrestled internally, Tenkai mentally communicated with Aion.

Gojo silently decided on one thing: He was not reporting this to the higher-ups.If they found out about this, they'd either worship Tenkai or dissect him.

Meanwhile, Tenkai's voice echoed faintly within his mind."Aion, begin synchronization."

"Acknowledged. Initiating Body–Soul Unification Protocol. Calculating safe thresholds…"

Tenkai turned to Gojo. "Gojo, I'll need your help. This process involves fusing my soul and body in perfect resonance. Your Six Eyes can monitor the soul's integrity."

Gojo blinked. "You're serious."

"Completely."

Gojo, after a long pause, adjusted his blindfold and grinned. "You're insane… but fine. Let's see this nightmare in action."

Tenkai closed his eyes, and Aion's voice filled his mind once more."Cursed energy density optimal. Physical constitution: Peak human-sorcerer hybrid. Initiating phase one."

Gojo's eyes widened as Tenkai's CE signature began to twist, vibrating through multiple frequencies at once. His soul shimmered faintly inside his body—a light pattern Gojo could barely comprehend.

"Holy—" Gojo murmured. "He's really doing it."

Minutes passed. Then ten. The forest trembled faintly, the air thick with residual energy. Finally, the light dimmed.

Tenkai opened his eyes, breathing heavily but steadily. "Initial process complete. The rest will continue automatically over the next year."

Gojo exhaled, relief evident even through his smirk. "Congrats, kid. You just pulled off something that sounds like a bad sci-fi movie."

Tenkai smirked faintly. "Would you like to try it?"

Gojo froze. "Wait, what?"

"It'll optimize your connection between body and soul," Tenkai said calmly. "You'd benefit too."

Gojo rubbed his chin. "Hmm… becoming even more awesome sounds appealing. Alright, hit me."

Five minutes later, a glowing aura surrounded Gojo as Aion managed the synchronization.

When it ended, Gojo stretched, grinning. "Ha! Mine only took five minutes. Guess I'm built different."

"Not bad. But according to your calculations, it'll take me a year to fully integrate. That's… humbling. Not as humbling as looking at your soul, though."

Tenkai smirked, stepping back. "We'll see who finishes first."

Newsflash, October 2013

"Kurotsuki Industries unveils NEURA-X, the latest flagship smartphone. Triple back camera—100MP, 50MP, 20MP. Front camera: 50MP. Inbuilt AI capable of advanced multitasking, preloaded high-tech apps, and personalized AI assistance that learns and evolves with the user. Sales surge worldwide; every household wants it. Teen genius Kurotsuki Tenkai, just 18, leads this revolutionary launch."

Back in the forest, Gojo lounged on a log. "Kid, I'm bored. You've done all that training… now make something fun for me. A game. Maybe a puzzle or something that explodes… virtually, I hope."

Tenkai raised an eyebrow. "You're asking me to create a distraction for a special-grade sorcerer."

Gojo grinned. "Exactly. Bonus points if I can't cheat."

Tenkai smirked, opening his custom tablet and whispering to Aion. The AI hummed, simulating the framework, physics, and game logic.

Gojo leaned back, watching the sunlight dance through the trees. "You know… this is why teaching you is exhausting. And hilarious."

Gojo ignored him, spinning in the chair. "Anyway, make me something fun! Like a game—teacher versus student! I wanna kick your digital butt."

Tenkai gave him a flat look. "You'd lose in real life, so you want revenge in a game?"

Gojo pointed dramatically. "It's called character development! Now make it happen."

Tenkai smirked. "Fine. But don't cry when I add 'infinite respawn'—for you only."

Gojo gasped. "That's bullying!"

"Consider it balanced."

Their laughter filled the office, the sound of mentor and prodigy sharing a rare moment of calm—before the storm that destiny was already preparing.

Because deep within Tenkai's soul, the Body–Soul Unification was still evolving. And when it was completed… the world of Jujutsu would never be the same again.
