Chapter 14. Are you from the comics?
Kakashi originally just wanted the Jōnins to read the manga.
But Su Li was even more decisive.
He directly wanted everyone in Konoha to read the comics.
This truly surprised Kakashi.
"This... Master Su Li, really?"
To be honest, Kakashi felt a little hesitant.
It was fine if only the Jōnins read them.
After all, being able to become a Jōnin meant one was an elite of the village—trustworthy, disciplined, and rarely a traitor or spy.
But the Chūnin and Genin?
No one could guarantee that there wouldn't be traitors among them, or people who would defect from Konoha after gaining powerful abilities.
Moreover, being able to cultivate to the Jōnin level already showed strong talent and comprehension.
Maybe the Chūnin and Genin wouldn't even be able to understand or awaken any powerful abilities, right?
Wouldn't that kind of sharing be too selfless?
"What is true or false? Do I have to joke with you about this kind of thing? Suppose one day in the future, an enemy invades Konoha—it's not only the Jōnin who need to fight. Everyone in Konoha must work together. One more person means one more bit of power, doesn't it?"
Although Su Li couldn't wait to promote his comics quickly, he still said the polite words that sounded proper and grand.
Otherwise, wouldn't it seem too outrageous?
However, when Kakashi heard these words, the impact on him was enormous.
Look at that!
This is what true selflessness looks like.
For a moment, Kakashi's admiration and respect for Su Li surged to the brim.
With a companion like this, how could Konoha not be peaceful and strong?
Kakashi wasn't one for empty flattery, but at this moment, after hearing Su Li's words, he couldn't help speaking from the heart.
"Lord Su Li, I thank you on behalf of all of Konoha for your contribution and your willingness to share."
Saying that, Kakashi bowed deeply to Su Li.
In the past, he had respected Su Li out of awe for his strength.
But now, he respected him because of his conviction in Su Li's character—selfless and magnanimous.
Seeing this, Su Li stood up, walked out from behind the desk, and patted Kakashi on the shoulder.
"Everyone is one of our own, so there's no need for this kind of formality. Didn't I say during the inauguration ceremony yesterday that I would do my best to help you all become stronger?"
Hearing this, Kakashi's admiration grew even deeper.
"Now that the decision has been made, let's hurry and implement it. I'll use my authority as acting Hokage shamelessly for this. Kakashi Jōnin, you will obey orders!"
Su Li said half-jokingly.
And Kakashi stood up straight in cooperation.
"Your Excellency, please give the order!"
"Kakashi Jōnin, I order you to mobilize all the Jōnin in Konoha to watch the manga I drew."
"After all the Jōnin have obtained their abilities, mobilize every ninja in Konoha to watch the comics collectively."
"Can it be done?"
Although Su Li had drawn many comics, the total number was limited. It was impossible for everyone to have a copy.
Therefore, they would first ensure that the Jōnin watched, and then allow the Chūnin and Genin to follow.
"Can!"
Kakashi responded solemnly, swearing to himself that he would complete the mission perfectly.
Kakashi then left the Hokage office to gather all the Jōnins.
Before long, at the meeting point, Konoha's various Jōnins had assembled.
If the order had come solely from Su Li as acting Hokage, the effect might not have been as strong.
But since Kakashi was the messenger—someone deeply respected among the Jōnin—the turnout was perfect.
Even those who didn't necessarily want to give Su Li face would still give Kakashi face.
Might Guy looked around, but when he didn't see Kakashi, he frowned in confusion.
"That acting Hokage asked Kakashi to gather us so urgently. Could something have happened?"
Hyuga Hiashi, the clan head of the Hyuga family, also looked around and frowned slightly. "Why isn't the acting Hokage here? Did he stand us up?"
"And Kakashi-senpai. Strange, where is he?" Yamato asked curiously.
The three of Ino–Shika–Chō stood together. Nara Shikaku, ever calm and thoughtful, spoke up. "Everyone, just wait a moment. Acting Hokage Su Li and Kakashi wouldn't summon us without reason. Since they called us here, there must be something important."
Just then—
A flicker of light appeared in the air near the Ino–Shika–Chō trio.
A figure suddenly materialized—it was Kakashi.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," Kakashi said, scratching his head apologetically.
Waiting around for everyone to gather had been boring, so he had gone into the comic world to train for a bit and had almost lost track of time.
"Kakashi?! Where did you come from?"
The sudden appearance startled the veteran Jōnins of Ino–Shika–Chō.
They hadn't sensed any chakra or movement just now.
He had appeared completely out of nowhere.
Anyone would be shocked.
Kakashi was about to answer when another flicker appeared beside him—Sasuke stepped out of thin air.
"I'm super!" Akimichi Chōza jumped in fright, his large frame trembling.
"What's going on? Space-time ninjutsu?"
Yamanaka Inoichi instinctively took two steps back.
The other Jōnins were equally stunned.
Given their experience, they knew exactly what kind of abilities Kakashi and Sasuke possessed.
Neither of them had ever mastered space-time ninjutsu.
What was happening?
If it weren't for the fact that they trusted Kakashi completely, they might have already surrounded and interrogated them.
"Kakashi, did you master a space-time ninjutsu?"
Might Guy asked eagerly, his eyes shining.
The others didn't speak, but their expressions made it clear—they were all interested.
After all, aside from Summoning, space-time ninjutsu was extremely rare and always associated with incredible power.
"This is..."
Kakashi glanced at Sasuke.
"You were the first to experience it. You tell them, Sasuke."
"Mm."
Sasuke nodded slightly, then pulled out a manga—The Inventory of the Strongest Pupil Techniques—and held it up for everyone to see.
"We just came out of this comic book."
The gathered Jōnin: "..."
What the hell?
You came out of a comic book?
After hearing this explanation, all the Jōnins subconsciously turned their gazes from the manga in Sasuke's hand to Kakashi's face.
Their expressions seemed to say—
Kakashi… are you feeling okay?
