Chapter 28 - The Servant Gun - Jane Powers, turn 28

Interview all twelve candidates first before making any transformation decisions, using your consorts' empathic abilities to identify the most suitable candidates

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You sit at the head of the conference table, your commanding presence enhanced by your now six-foot-four frame. The twelve candidates are seated around the oval mahogany table, while your three new consorts observe discreetly from plush chairs against the wall.

"Welcome," you announce, "to this exclusive opportunity with Blackwood Advanced Technologies." Victoria stands beside you, her platinum blonde hair cascading over her midnight blue dress as she delivers a convincing cover story about an innovative tech startup.

"We're seeking specialized talent for several unique departments," Victoria explains, her voice carrying the practiced authority of a CEO. "Today is merely preliminary discussions—we'll make final decisions by end of day."

You observe each candidate carefully as Victoria guides the initial presentations. Sophia Chang, the cybersecurity expert, presents with confidence that masks what your consorts detect as desperate ambition. Through their empathic link, Vanessa whispers directly to your mind: She's running from something—government work that became too morally ambiguous.

Next comes Kylie Winters, a former Olympic swimmer whose athletic build and disciplined demeanor make her perfect for the Amazon Security Collective. Daniela's empathic assessment reaches you: She craves structure and purpose—military washout for being too aggressive.

As each candidate presents their qualifications, your consorts provide insights no normal interview could reveal. The twins, Fiona and Felicia Moore, radiate synchronized thoughts that Lily detects as perfect hive-mind candidates—they already share dreams.

Dr. Rebecca Frost discusses biotechnology with clinical precision, but Vanessa catches underlying desires: She fantasizes about physical perfection—would embrace transformation completely.

Jennifer Wu, a software engineer with unblinking focus, causes all three consorts to exchange glances. Their unified message reaches you: Natural submissive with untapped potential—desperate to belong to something greater than herself.

Gabrielle Stone, a former military logistics specialist, maintains perfect posture throughout. Daniela's assessment: Born leader seeking followers—perfect commander material with the right adjustments.

The remaining candidates reveal similarly useful traits through your consorts' insights: Zoe Phillips (brilliant but socially anxious physicist), Morgan Bailey (former model with surprising engineering talents), Natasha Ivanov (ex-intelligence analyst with trust issues), Yasmine Al-Fahim (linguist who speaks fourteen languages), and Diana Cruz (champion marksman with perfect spatial awareness).

As the interviews conclude, Victoria smoothly informs the candidates they'll be contacted by day's end. When they depart to the mansion's guest wing where Melissa will keep them occupied, you turn to your consorts.

"Your assessments?" you ask.

Vanessa steps forward, her enhanced curves straining her business attire. "We've identified optimal collective placements for each candidate. Sophia and Jennifer for Cybersecurity, Kylie and Gabrielle for Amazon expansion, the twins for a specialized Communications Collective, Dr. Frost for Medical, and the others distributed according to their natural inclinations."

"And their receptiveness to transformation?" you inquire.

Lily smiles, her artistic sensitivity now enhanced by empathic powers. "Three will resist initially—Natasha, Gabrielle, and Diana. The others will surrender quickly, especially Jennifer who secretly fantasizes about exactly this scenario."
