Chapter 125: The Brother Coming

Amelia Bones proved herself to be an exceptional Minister. Her firm stance against Dark Eater sympathizers, combined with her immediate campaign to investigate and arrest suspected Death Eaters, earned her respect across the wizarding world. Even those who tried to hide behind their pure-blood status found no protection. Harry Potter testimony from the graveyard had been verified through multiple magical methods and with that evidence, no influential name could escape Azkaban.

The fallout from the Ministry attack shook the foundations of Voldemort forces. Not only had he lost loyal followers during the battle in Bones Manor, but many pure-blood families within the Ministry were now under investigation or already imprisoned. Entire bloodlines that once supported him openly were suddenly weakened, exposed, and fragmented.

Yet despite the massive blow, Voldemort did not consider himself defeated. His arrogance remained unshaken. In his mind, Dudley victory was nothing more than a fluke. He convinced himself that the boy had only survived through two factors the first is because of that mysterious thunderbrew potion and a movement ability that resembled Apparition. Voldemort assumed both could be countered once he discovered their secrets.

After the war, Severus Snape submitted a detailed report based on what he learned from Dumbledore. The first and most alarming information was the thunderbrew potion. According to Snape, Dudley had personally created it and the potion was incredibly lethal when used in closed or crowded spaces. The effects were unlike anything Voldemort had seen in his whole life and worse the formula was unfamiliar that Snape himself are not confident he could recreate it, even Snape could not determine all of its ingredients.

The second issue concerned Dudley speed. Voldemort had asked Snape about it but Snape confessed that he didn't know anything about it, even Dumbledore was surprised knowing it. Earlier Voldemort himsed had mistaken it for a refined form of Apparition. But after reviewing his own memories through Occlumency, he realized the truth. Dudley had not Apparated. He had moved so quickly that the eye could not track him, creating the illusion of teleportation.

This unsettled Voldemort more than he cared to admit. Lucius Malfoy had once warned him of Dudley's potential. his aptitude for theory, his flawless performance in every subject and his alarming creativity as a wizard. The only classes where he did not earn perfect marks were Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts, and even that was because Snape and Lucius had intentionally deducted points to keep him from becoming a perfect student.

But it had not mattered. Dudley had surpassed expectations regardless.

Voldemort, upon receiving Snape report, immediately began planning his countermeasures. If Dudley thunderbrew potion could devastate groups, then Voldemort would avoid crowd formations in future battles or create a protection spell based on thunder. If Dudley could move faster than the eye could see, then Voldemort needed spells designed to track motion, disrupt momentum, or create wide-range barriers to block his path or don't use anti apparation ward at all.

He knew Dudley's threat level now. He would not make the same mistake twice.

However, Voldemort also understood something else, for the moment, he could not afford another direct confrontation.

His forces were weakened, his supporters were under surveillance and Amelia Bones had turned the Ministry into hostile territory. Voldemort needed time, time to rebuild, time to gather new followers, time to understand the magic Dudley used, and time to adapt.

He would return stronger and when he returned, he planned to crush the boy who had humiliated him. His current plan is to teach all his death eater how to become a better duelist, something he had avoided before, usually he will only teach a few powerful spell but against Dudley he need to make sure his Death Eater grow stronger too but not at this level at least 50% from Voldemort current power.

---25 April 1996-Kink Orphanage---

John Kennedy was a computer engineer working in the cyber-security department of a major multinational company. His parents had died when he was only thirteen and from that moment onward, he and his little brother, Zack Kennedy, were raised in an orphanage. Life was difficult, filled with uncertainty and financial pressure, but John pushed through with determination. Eventually, his hard work paid off. He earned a place on the dean list and received a full university sponsorship. After graduating, he managed to buy a medium 1 story house and finally live together with Zack in a place they could call home.

One day, John noticed that many people were playing Hogwarts Legacy. Curious, he bought the game and started playing it himself. He cleared every stage from the easiest level all the way to the hardest difficulty. But no matter how many times he tried, he always lost when fighting the final boss on the highest difficulty level.

He spent more than two hundred hours attempting to defeat the boss, yet victory never came. Out of frustration, he asked Zack to try for him. To John shock, the boy took only five minutes to defeat what had tormented him for weeks.

Before the brothers could celebrate their achievement, something impossible happened. An alien suddenly emerged from the game screen and seized Zack, dragging him into a swirling void before vanishing completely.

"Who… who are you?" John stammered in disbelief.

The creature truly looked like the aliens from science-fiction movies, hairless, smooth gray skin, large black eyes, and a strange metallic armor covering its body. The alien stared at him as if equally surprised and attempted to communicate. What John heard sounded like "Zsdsessae," nothing more than an incomprehensible string of distorted sounds.

After five minutes of failed communication, the alien grabbed him as well. Darkness swallowed him, and he lost consciousness instantly.

When he finally woke up, he found himself back in an unfamiliar orphanage — but this time, he wasn't alone. A glowing interface hovered in front of him.

A system.

It presented him with three template choices:

Ancient One

S-Rank Mage

Rocks D. Xebec

And he had to choose one.

Author Notes: Please choose this OC would pick which template, the story line depend on what template he choose. Last but not least, please also choose either should he replace RON and become Hermione husband?
