Chapter 7 - Chapter 6: Tang Yue’s First Appearance

Chapter 6: Tang Yue's First Appearance

Half a year had passed since Han Sen began his dedicated cultivation. Every day was spent practicing meditation, controlling the Thunder Element, and refining his spells. With the Magic Simulator only usable once a year, all his progress came from his own efforts.

This morning, Han Sen was running late.

He rushed down the corridor of Tianlan Magic High School, backpack bouncing lightly on his shoulder, eyes scanning the classroom numbers.

Inside Class 2-1, the students were murmuring.

"Did you hear? Our teacher is on leave today."

"Yeah, they said a new teacher is coming to attend the class."

"Really? I wonder what kind of teacher it is… I hope she's nice."

The chatter carried an undercurrent of excitement. The students had no idea that this new teacher would not just be kind—but extremely powerful.

Han Sen hurried through the door, slightly out of breath. The classroom instantly quieted for a moment, all eyes flicking toward him.

Even with the attention, he didn't care. He was focused on minimizing distractions—after all, Thunder Element practice required concentration, even in small moments.

At that moment, the door at the front of the classroom opened. A soft step echoed as a tall, elegant figure entered.

Tang Yue.

She carried herself with the calm poise of someone used to commanding attention without effort. Her long hair swayed gently, and the faint glow of her aura made her look almost ethereal.

Her face was delicate yet mature, every line balanced perfectly, her skin as fair and luminous as polished jade. Even the sunlight streaming through the windows seemed to highlight her presence.

Instantly, the classroom fell into hushed whispers:

"Wow… she's beautiful."

"Who is she? I've never seen her before…"

"Third-year mage… I heard she's extremely strong!"

Han Sen's eyes narrowed slightly as he entered quietly, trying not to draw attention to himself. He was curious — this 3rd-level Intermediate Mage would not just teach them basic spells; she would be someone to watch carefully.

Tang Yue's gaze swept over the students, calm and measured. When it landed on Han Sen, a faint glimmer of interest crossed her eyes. It was subtle, but sharp enough to be felt.

"Good morning, class," she said softly, her voice melodic but carrying an unmistakable authority. "I am Tang Yue, your substitute teacher while Mr. Xue is on leave. I will be observing your progress and helping refine your magic control today."

The students quickly straightened up, some blushing, some whispering under their breath. Her presence was like a quiet storm — powerful yet composed.

Han Sen found a seat at the back, keeping his head slightly lowered. He didn't want to reveal the progress he had made in controlling the Thunder Element.

As Tang Yue began to explain the lesson, Han Sen's mind wandered slightly, analyzing her aura, her posture, and even the subtle way her fingers moved as she gestured. He could sense the precision and refinement of a high-level mage, yet there was also a calm warmth that made the students respect her instantly.

Meanwhile, the whispers around him continued, growing bolder:

"Did you see her? She's like… a goddess!"

"Third-level mage… I can't believe we have a teacher like her!"

Han Sen smirked faintly to himself. No one knew that even this seemingly perfect teacher could be surprised if she ever realized what he had truly mastered.

The day had just begun — and the arrival of Tang Yue in Class 2-1 marked the start of a series of lessons that would challenge not only the students but also test Han Sen's hidden abilities.
