"Hey, what are you doing?! Let go of me!" Khalissi shouted as she thrashed around in the sky. Allison was holding onto her legs.
"You're going to see my brother again, aren't you? I want to come with you," Allison said stubbornly, holding onto Khalissi's legs.
Khalissi couldn't help but feel annoyed at this.
"You're just slowing me down. We're supposed to be leaving the city. You should be with the others. If the supernova occurs, then you will be killed."
"And so will you," Allison quickly shot back.
Seeing the girl adamantly holding onto her legs, Khalissi had no choice but to proceed forward through the sky. She had no intentions of turning back, even though she knew just how dangerous what she was doing was.
She had done the calculations and knew that most of the people in Purgatory were wiped out. Which meant Liam should be just about ready to evolve.
