Moon opened the post—and froze. "What.... in the livin' hell…"

My stomach dropped. It was Minjun—lying on a bed with his girlfriend. The watermark across the photo made my blood run cold.

Extra work for my one and only you~~

The words hit me like a knife. Boa.

Only you~ can make all this world seem right…

Everyone groaned, clutching their heads.

"Damn it! Who filmed that? Some psycho sasaeng? Or a bloodsucking paparazzi?" Tommy barked.

I didn't wait. I rushed downstairs to the reception area, where Boa was working. She turned toward me, smiling faintly.

"Well? Like my work? As for payment, I—"

Only you~ can make the darkness bright…

"You're fired."

The room went silent. Boa frowned, as if the whole thing amused her. I leaned close to her ear.

"This isn't what I wanted you to do," I whispered, voice low and cold.

Only you~ and you alone can thrill me like you do…

Her eyes widened. "S-still not enough for you? You wanted to be number one, didn't you?" she said, grabbing my sleeve. The security guard hurried over, pulling her away.

"Oh~ did he tell you about me? What did he say?" she sneered as they dragged her out.

"Get her out of here!" I shouted, pointing toward the door.

I clenched my phone so hard it cracked in my hand—then hurled it to the floor. The shattering echoed through the room.

"Sorry for the disturbance," I muttered, before stepping into the elevator.

As the doors closed, one thought repeated in my mind, over and over —

My fault. My fault. My fault.

I looked into the mirrored wall—my reflection stared back, eyes glowing faintly pink.

Outside the glass, a ranking chart flickered across a giant screen. Minjun had fallen from third place… all the way to the bottom.

While my name, White, now sat at the second top.

"My fault…"

Oh oh, only you~ can do make this change in me

For it's true, you are my destiny~

When you hold my hand I understand the magic that you do

You're my dream come true, my one

and only you~~~
