The hospital room was in complete chaos.
An Yuwei's shrill screams echoed against the sterile white walls, sharp and piercing, as though she were tearing her throat apart. A vase flew across the room and shattered against the floor, water splashing everywhere.
She grabbed whatever was within reach—pillows, medical files, even a metal tray, and hurled them away in blind fury.
"My face! My face!" she screamed hysterically. "It's destroyed! It's ruined!"
Her hands clawed at her hair as she staggered back, her eyes bloodshot, her makeup smeared from tears. The mirror on the wall reflected a woman she didn't recognize, and the mere sight of it sent her spiraling further into madness.
"Get out!" she shrieked suddenly, spinning toward the nurses and doctors frozen at the door. "All of you, get out! I don't want to see anyone! Get out!"
