Chapter 135 - My life is in your hands

Once Mo Yuzhen decided to see Tang Xiyu, his heart began to race faster.

Since yesterday's incident, he had wanted to see her countless times. He had stopped himself only because of what had happened between him and Jiang Xinyue, choosing caution over impulse.

But now, after uncovering the truth, restraint felt meaningless. He could not sit back and pretend nothing had happened—the urge to see her increased with each passing second. 

He needed to tell her everything. He wanted to talk about An Yuwei, about the truth behind the incident, about his feelings. More than anything, he needed to beg for her forgiveness, even if she chose never to forgive him.

A faint but resolute light flickered in his eyes.

Mo Yuzhen took one last drag from his cigarette before flicking it to the ground. He crushed it beneath his shoe, as though stamping out his hesitation along with it, and then opened the car door and sat down.

Wen Hao quickly moved to the driver's seat.
