Eve pov:(REPITITION)
As we walked, my exhaustion began to settle in. The constant movement, the lack of rest, and the relentless pace Lucius had set were starting to take their toll. My legs felt like jelly, and my feet were sore from hours of trudging. I glanced over at Lucius, watching as he carried himself with effortless grace, never seeming to tire. I hated to admit it, but he was like a machine.
When noon came, he refused to let us stop for the usual breaks. Said something about covering ground before dusk, though I suspected he was just being stubborn again. My legs, however, didn't share his enthusiasm. After hours of trudging through uneven forest paths, I could feel every muscle in my body protesting.
The dragons, of course, had it easy. They sat in their makeshift wheelbarrow — looking like royalty being chauffeured around by their loyal servant.
