(Third Person POV)
[Two Years Later]
Alyssa was walking along the gardens with Daella by her side, "It is quite a nice day, don't you think?" She asked her sister, "To walk along these gardens and look up at the sky."
Daella smiled as she had her hand behind her arms, "Yes." she said, "It is quite something, sister."
Alyssa stopped and looked at her, "With Baelon and I married already, I have been looking at life quite differently. Baelon is the love of my life. It has made me think of something, dear sister."
Daella frowned, "What is it?"
"One day, you will be happy as well." She said with a smile, "I am sure of it."
"Right...." Daella smiled as she looked down, "I hope so."
Around two years ago, Jaehaerys had announced that Vaegon and Daella would no longer marry. This was something that pleased the young prince, and while Daella showed no reaction to it, it was also something the girl had wanted.
It was not long after that Vaegon's twin brother, Vaelor, had claimed a dragon for himself. A young and large white beast named Shrykos. They said that the dragon was the reincarnation of Meraxes herself, but Vaelor showed no interest in humoring such statements. The Young Prince gained a massive amount of confidence since claiming his dragon and has not been seen that much in the Red Keep ever since, taking to the skies daily.
Now, two years later, Daella Targaryen has been the eye and target of many young lords who wished to court a Targaryen Princess. Vaelor, however, has stated to the King himself that anyone who disrespects his sister would meet the flames of his dragon.
Now, after the eldest of King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne's children are married, with Aemon having a daughter, everyone has been wondering when the others will follow. Maegelle had become a Septa and Vaegon has sworn to become a Maester, having left for the Citadel not too long ago.
Vaelor decided to stay and train vigorously, spending most of the day mastering his swordsmanship.
Daella looked at her sister with a smile, "I have received quite an amount of letters...." She said as she played with her hair, "Many admirers...plenty of Lords have admitted that they wish to take me for a bride."
Alyssa frowned, "Most of those are men significantly older than Aemon." She said, "I don't trust any of them."
"Well, I don't think I will marry soon...." Daella chuckled nervously, "Right?"
Alyssa shook her head, "I don't think so." She said, "Father hasn't stated anything of the sort."
Daella looked down, "I see....." She said, "That is good.....I become nervous just by thinking about it. I really.....I don't know what the future holds for me."
"You will be fine." Alyssa said with a smile, "Don't worry about a thing."
"Oh!" a voice said, "Sisters, the two of you are here!"
They both turned to see Vaelor walking up to them. He was wearing a black outfit with white embroidery, a white dragon sigil stitched on his left side. The young prince was quite tall for someone his age, something that surprised even Aemon himself. However, Vaelor isn't as tall as his eldest brother. Vaelor's hair was tied in a short ponytail, a silver needle inserted through it.
Daella smiled, "Hello, Vaelor." she said, "How is your day going?"
"It's nice." Vaelor said as he reached them, resting his hand on a sheathed longsword, "Little Rhaenys smacked my because I took away her doll, hahaha. Lady Jocelyn was telling me to leave her alone."
Alyssa chuckled, "Oh, you keep bothering the poor girl." She said, "Aemon is going to scold you."
He waved his sister off, "Ah, don't worry about a thing." He said, "So Baelon is dealing with some business at Driftmark, sister?"
Alyssa nodded, "Yes."
"Ah, here I wanted to take some laps in the sky." Vaelor shrugged, "What say you, Alyssa? Do you wish to fly?"
"It's been two whole days since I've ridden on Meleys...." Alyssa said with a smile, "I might take you on that offer."
"Nice!" Vaelor pumped his fist, "Daella, do you want to come?"
Daella looked at him with surprise, "M-Me?"
Vaelor nodded, "Yes." He said, "Come, Shrykos is large enough for us to be on the saddle."
Daella shook her head, "N-No, I don't think so."
"Aw, come on!" Vaelor said with a frown, "Why not? It'll be fun. You're always refusing to take rides with me, sister!"
"I am afraid of heights...." Daella said
"Worry not." Vaelor grabbed her by the hand, "I'll keep you fastened on the saddle. You will not fall. Besides, the glory of the skies will distract you from your fears!"
"Still...." She said softly, "I...."
"It should be fine, Daella." Alyssa said, "Vaelor won't let anything happen to you."
"Yea, Daella." Vaelor smiled, "Let us go and fly!"
"Well....." Daella looked down, "I don't know. I feel like I would only ruin the experience."
"Never." Vaelor told her, "You're my precious sister, why would you ruin it?"
"I don't know...." She said as she closed her eyes, "I'm just.....I just do that."
Alyssa shook her head, "You need to have more confidence, Daella." She told her, "Vaelor might rub some off on you, you know?"
"Confidence....." Daella said as she opened her eyes and looked at Vaelor, "Vaelor....?"
"Hm...." Vaelor pulled back, "Shrykos is a calm beast, you wouldn't worry about him scaring you or anything. It's just a quick trip from here to Dragonstone."
Daella looked down, "Well...." She said, "Maybe just this once."
"Alright!" Vaelor said with an excited smile, "You won't regret it, I promise you!"
Daella nodded slowly, "I hope so...."
He grabbed her hand, "Let us go!" He said with a bright smile,
"To the skies."
