Chapter 5 - Yes

Chapter 4 – Finally, Yes

After the storm with Keigen had calmed and the Watson brothers were breathing easier, Jay found herself sitting on the couch with Keiren.

The youngest Watson stared at her curiously, his eyes wide. "You… made him open the door. No one else can do that."

Jay smiled faintly. "Maybe because I know what it's like."

Keiren tilted his head. "You're not scary at all."

"Don't be fooled," Keifer cut in, dropping down beside them. He slung an arm over the back of the couch, eyes glinting. "She's terrifying. Stubborn, bossy—Mutya's the scariest girl alive."

Jay rolled her eyes. "Says the guy who follows me around like a lost puppy."

Keifer smirked, unfazed. "Obsessed is the word you're looking for."

Keiren blinked between them, his lips twitching like he was fighting a laugh. "You two are weird."

Jay gasped dramatically. "Excuse me? Did your brother put you up to this?"

Keifer grinned. "Smart kid."

Jay was about to retort when she glanced at the clock—and nearly choked. "Oh my God. It's past midnight. Angelo's going to kill me." She stood abruptly, panic settling in.

Keifer's brows shot up. "You're crazy if you think I'm letting you walk home alone at this hour."

"I didn't say alone, I said—"

"Nope," he cut her off, standing too. "End of discussion. I'm taking you home."

And that was that.

The car ride was quiet at first, only the hum of the engine filling the space. But Jay's heart was pounding, her palms sweating. She couldn't hold it in anymore.

"Keifer?" she said softly.

He glanced at her, brows drawn. "Yeah?"

She bit her lip, then blurted it out. "Yes."

His eyes flicked back to the road, confusion flashing. "Yes… what?"

"Yes to you." She swallowed hard. "Yes to dating you. Yes to us."

For a second, silence. Then Keifer slammed the brakes so hard the car jerked to a stop right in front of her house.

"Are you—Jay, are you serious?" His voice cracked, eyes wide with disbelief.

She nodded, nerves buzzing. "Dead serious."

And then Keifer Watson—the ever-cocky, ever-confident playboy—started crying. Real, unfiltered tears sliding down his cheeks.

"Jay…" he choked, leaning over to cup her face. "You don't get it. You don't know how long I've been waiting for this. You don't know how much I—" His words cut off as he kissed her, desperate and overflowing.

Jay kissed him back, hands clutching at his shirt, both of them laughing and crying and kissing until they forgot where they were.

Of course, that's when the universe decided to ruin everything.

"Jay."

Her eyes snapped open. Aries stood outside the car, arms crossed, expression thunderous.

"Oh no," Jay whispered.

Keifer pulled back, still breathless. "What the—"

"Jay." Aries' tone sharpened. "Get. In. The house. Now."

Jay groaned, covering her face. "This is so unfair."

Keifer, still holding her hand, frowned. "What's your problem, man? Can't a guy kiss his girlfriend in peace?"

"Girlfriend?!" Aries barked, his eyes bugging. He yanked the door open, dragging Jay out while glaring at Keifer. "Inside. Both of you."

Keifer threw up his hands. "What did I do? She kissed me first!"

"Shut up, Watson," Aries snapped, hauling them toward the front door.

Inside, Angelo was waiting in the living room, arms crossed, the perfect image of judgment.

Aries shoved them in like criminals. "Tell him. Go ahead, tell him."

Jay groaned. "This is ridiculous."

Keifer, ever the devil, only smirked, slipping an arm around her waist. "Fine. Jay's my girlfriend. Official. Signed and sealed."

Angelo's eyes narrowed to slits. "You better not hurt her again, Watson. You won't survive if you do."

Keifer grinned, unbothered. "Don't worry, Kuya. I plan on keeping her forever."

Jay buried her burning face in her hands as Aries groaned in the background, Angelo kept glaring, and Keifer looked like the happiest idiot alive.
