"In terms of difficulty, the Mist attribute is probably the hardest to control."
"Sun, Storm, Rain, Lightning, and Cloud are all suited for direct combat, but only Mist requires delicate precision—and the ability to draw others into illusion."
"And as you mentioned, Mist also has the weakest offensive power among all the flames."
"Still, for a mage like me, who fights from the rear, that attribute might actually be ideal."
Riveria analyzed the Dying Will Flame's properties carefully. Once she confirmed the Mist's operability and usefulness, she finally understood why Tsuna had saved it for her.
She could tell that the Mist would be greatly beneficial to her.
For a mage, the moment of chanting a spell was always the most dangerous.
Precisely because of that vulnerability, high-ranking magicians had developed a special technique—Concurrent Chanting—to protect themselves while casting.
If she could use Mist to hypnotize her enemies or conceal herself within its illusions, her effectiveness in battle would rise dramatically.
"Tsuna, can one choose their own attribute?"
"No. An attribute is essentially a unique vibration within one's body. The nature of that vibration determines the type of flame."
"Usually, these internal vibrations are closely tied to personality and behavior. Take Tiona and Tione, for example."
"Their personalities are straightforward and bold. They speak bluntly, rush headfirst into danger, and act on impulse. Those traits perfectly represent the Sun and Storm flames."
After explaining, Tsuna's gaze shifted to Ais. There was a hint of concern and resignation in his eyes.
"If it's Ais... my guess would be Storm."
That made perfect sense.
Using the Hiryute sisters as examples, and with Ais's distinct personality as comparison, Riveria also felt that Tsuna's deduction was right on target.
Her eyes then drifted toward Alise and Kaguya, and a question arose in her mind.
"Tsuna, what about Alise and Kaguya? Which attributes do you think they might awaken?"
"Hm... that's a tough one."
Tsuna studied the two girls. In truth, he didn't know them very well. Ever since rescuing the Astraea Familia, he'd been swamped with other matters, leaving little time to get to know them personally.
"Based on intuition... I'd say Alise fits either Sun or Storm. Awakening either would make perfect sense. If she awakened both, that would speak to her talent. She's the Captain of the Astraea Familia and a front-line fighter—those attributes align well with her role."
"As for Miss Kaguya, she's skilled with the katana. Though she smiles often, beneath that warmth lies a sharp edge. With those traits, I think Rain suits her best."
After giving his thoughts, Tsuna produced thirteen rings once again and held them out.
"Of course, this is just speculation. Alise, Miss Kaguya—why not test it for yourselves?"
The two exchanged a glance, then nodded and chose their rings.
Alise selected a Mare Ring, while Kaguya picked a Vongola Ring.
"Huh? Kaguya's set seems to be missing one ring."
"That's because that particular ring is currently on Miss Loki's hand. Given her personality, she didn't want anyone else wearing the same one, so I didn't make another copy."
"Now that you mention it... Lady Loki has been wearing a ring lately."
Tsuna's explanation made them recall that indeed, over the past few months, Loki had been seen with a ring on her finger.
It hadn't drawn much attention—after all, a goddess wearing jewelry was hardly unusual. One ring was nothing out of the ordinary.
But now that Tsuna revealed that the ring was one capable of channeling the Dying Will Flame, Alise couldn't help but ask curiously:
"Tsuna, does that mean Lady Loki has awakened a flame too?"
"Yes. Loki awakened a very rare attribute—Sky. From what I know, very few ever manifest it. Only those with great tolerance and acceptance can awaken the Sky flame."
"I imagine Goddess Astraea could awaken it as well. Her heart is just as kind and all-encompassing."
"Of course! Lady Astraea's compassion is second to none!"
At the mention of her goddess, Alise's face beamed with pride.
She had absolute faith that her goddess's capacity for acceptance surpassed all others.
Riveria sighed softly.
"Loki's still such a child sometimes—she gets a new toy and immediately becomes possessive."
Still, Loki's little whims were harmless and didn't really affect Tsuna's work. As he'd said, very few could awaken that particular attribute anyway.
Alise and Kaguya both laughed lightly at that.
Among the gods, Loki's behavior was actually rather tame. A bit of mischief was nothing new.
The topic soon passed with an easy smile.
"Tsuna, how exactly does this testing work?"
"It's simpler than you think."
He extended both hands.
"Alise, Miss Kaguya—place your hands on mine. I'll channel the Dying Will Flame into your bodies to stir your inner vibrations and help you awaken your flame attributes."
"The flame that answers you will ignite on the ring you're wearing."
Both nodded and placed their hands over his.
Slowly, Tsuna infused their bodies with the Dying Will Flame. He guided their inner energy, resonating with their individual wavelengths—until the moment of awakening arrived.
A crimson flame burst to life on Alise's ring—Storm.
A blue flame flared from Kaguya's—Rain.
Each had awakened a single, pure attribute.
