[Inside the classroom, morning]
Class moved with its usual rhythm. The teacher's voice explaining the lesson and the scratch of pens on paper formed a monotonous background. But in a dark corner of the room, Rayka's sharp gaze never left the figure of Jora, who sat calmly at his desk.
Rayka took a long breath, then stood up roughly.
Rayka (whispering harshly to her friend):
"This time I won't give him any chance to run."
Rayka's friend (anxious):
"Ray, don't make this into something too big, okay…"
Rayka (looking full of hatred):
"This isn't a small matter. This is the revenge I've been waiting for."
Meanwhile, Jora was aware of the increasingly intense stare watching him. He exhaled slowly, trying to calm his heart.
[Rayka approaches Jora's desk]
With heavy, furious steps, Rayka stood right in front of Jora's desk. The classroom instantly grew tense; every student held their breath.
Rayka (in a low voice):
"You're Jora, right?"
"It seems there's something we need to settle between us."
Jora lifted his head, his gaze cold but sharp.
Jora said, "I'm not looking for trouble. But if you start it, I won't back down."
"I know Dimas's pride is high, but if he keeps bothering me, I have no choice."
"Come at me together and attack me — this challenge is for everyone working for Dimas," Jora said.
Rayka (smirking sinisterly):
"You think you can win? You're too weak to even say that."
In a low voice Jora said, "Weak or strong, I won't let you ruin my life."
Some students began whispering—some frightened, some curious.
Suddenly, Rayka slammed her fist on the desk, shattering the tension into action. That blow was the opening salvo of the fight that had just begun.
Fueled by anger, Rayka surged at Jora. Wild punches sliced the air; Jora dodged nimbly, setting the rhythm of the fight.
Rayka (angry):
"You must be destroyed! I don't care what anyone says!"
Jora (calm and focused):
"This fight isn't about hatred. It's about survival."
Rayka launched brutal attacks, striking with feral force. But Jora remained composed, remembering his father's words.
"A punch without emotion is an unmatched punch."
Those words kept repeating in Jora's mind... WHAM! Jora absorbed Rayka's blow and countered with a quick, precise punch. Rayka fell; her face was bleeding and her body went limp.
The students around screamed in panic.
Noah, who witnessed the scene, was somewhat stunned by Jora's strength and principles, but his attention was soon drawn to Dimas and his crew.
Noah stepped forward toward Dimas and his gang, who watched from a distance.
Noah (in a cold, threatening voice):
"Listen carefully — if you bother Jora again, I won't just fight. I will obliterate you."
Dimas stared at Noah with wide eyes; his body tensed. He knew this threat was not empty talk.
After the fight, Jora was summoned to the teachers' office to be questioned about what had just happened.
In the teachers' office, Jora sat with his head bowed, his hands trembling slightly. The principal and several teachers looked at him with a mix of concern and suspicion.
Principal:
"Jora, you have to explain what really happened. Rayka is now in a coma at the hospital."
Jora nodded slowly, feeling the heavy burden pressing down on him.
He hadn't realized that his final strike had rendered Rayka unconscious.
Another Teacher:
"You know this fight has very serious consequences."
Jora remained motionless, looking down. Only anger and regret crossed his mind over what had happened—his school life, his dreams, ruined by one mistake he shouldn't have made.
"Mom, dad, I'm sorry again," he thought.
[The next day, in a police interrogation room]
A dim light illuminated the small room. A police officer looked at Jora with a serious expression.
Police Officer:
"You must be honest. This isn't an ordinary fight. Rayka is in critical condition and will likely suffer permanent injuries."
Jora tried to remain calm; his voice trembled.
Jora:
"I was only trying to protect myself. I never wanted to hurt anyone."
The officer said this was not a simple case because Jora had allegedly beaten someone else before—Devan. The police suspected Jora was an arrogant kid looking to make a name by attacking others.
But in the middle of the conversation, a mysterious figure spoke through a phone with a soft yet firm voice.
"We are aware of the situation. Release Jora. Don't let this matter escalate."
The police hesitated, but eventually complied.
Jora walked out weakly. He glanced at the mysterious figure standing at the edge of the crowd, wanting to ask who he was, but he was too exhausted.
The figure smiled faintly and then disappeared.
[In an empty warehouse, Dimas's gang headquarters]
Dimas sat in an old chair, his face flushed with anger. Around him, his gang members stood uneasy; the atmosphere brimmed with tension.
"The defeat of Rayka is not just a failure. It's a huge disgrace for us. I don't understand—why is Noah protecting Jora? What does he have to do with Jora?"
Firmly, Dimas declared, "Now our targets increase — destroy Jora and Noah."
Reno (Dimas's friend, whispering):
"Are you crazy? You think we can take them both? Especially Noah? He's insanely strong, Dimas."
Dimas (frowning, speaking firmly):
"I don't care how strong they are. If we're going to do it, we attack both at once. Let them know who's in control here."
Another gang member:
"But Noah is… like a demigod in this school. Even the second years are scared of him."
Dimas rose, staring intensely at everyone present.
Dimas:
"Noah is indeed strong. But we can't just sit back. He must be put in his place. Remember, at Dermaga 2 High, power doesn't belong to a first-year like him—it belongs to second-years like us. Even those in second year are afraid to fight Noah. This isn't luck. It's about power."
A gang member spoke quietly.
Gang Member:
"We need to know who Noah really is. He's more than just a rich kid."
Introduction to Noah
Noah, the only child of a renowned conglomerate family, was known not just for his wealth but for a mysterious aura that surrounded him.
Despite living in luxury, Noah had never truly been free. His family's status isolated him, even from peers.
When he was five years old, a terrifying event occurred: he was kidnapped.
The fragile child was taken from his home by force. He was saved by his father's loyal bodyguard—a former head of military security, highly trained.
Seeing Noah traumatized and constantly fearing danger, the bodyguard decided to train him intensively in martial arts and military strategy.
The result? Noah, still a student, possesses skills comparable to a professional soldier.
That power made him an undisputed authority among first-years and forced even second-years to steer clear of him.
[Back at Dimas's headquarters]
Dimas gripped the table tightly, his face determined.
Dimas:
"We must be ready. It's not about numbers but quality. We need a solid plan to beat Noah and Jora. If not, we're the ones who'll be destroyed."
Reno nodded, showing respect but also growing fear.
