Chapter 5 - introduction

"My name is Izaroi."

That handsome civilian boy—Naruto had marked him as a traveller—stood up and gave a simple introduction. He was as cute as Sasuke, naturally attracting attention from many of the girls, just like Sasuke did.

"These lolis," Naruto thought, slightly surprised. Even though he understood that in this world, people matured very early, seeing such young girls get so excited over a cute boy still felt odd to him.

After all, Naruto himself had started living alone at the age of three. If he remembered correctly, Kakashi had graduated from the academy at five and became a Chūnin at six. Naruto himself had saved the world at sixteen in the original timeline. Itachi had become filial son at thirteen.

Then fell in love at five—so in that sense, it made sense that even kids this young could have serious emotions.

Soon, self-introductions ended.

Everyone was given a stack of books by the academy. Naruto glanced through them: The Will of Fire, History of the Ninja World, Mathematics, Chemistry, and even a book titled Ninja Rules. In addition to the textbooks, a chakra refining scroll was also handed out.

Naruto looked at it and sighed—it was the same chakra refining technique the Third Hokage had taught him a year ago. Useless to him. He noticed that some of the special clan kids already knew it too, but the civilian students, including the travellers, had already started refining their chakra.

Naruto, uninterested, instead opened Ninja Rules and began reading.

"Can I sit here?" someone suddenly asked.

Naruto turned and saw the same cute civilian boy he'd marked as a traveller earlier.

"Yeah, of course. Sit here," Naruto said, shifting toward the window with a welcoming smile.

"Thank you. My name is Haruto," the boy replied politely as he sat beside Naruto.

"Oh, I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I'm the man who's gonna be Hokage—believe it!" Naruto said with a grin.

"Oh, of course. I believe you can," Haruto responded with a smile.

"You really believe that? You're the first person besides Grandpa Hokage who's ever said that," Naruto said, clearly touched. They continued chatting, and Naruto—true to himself—kept acting exactly as he had in the original timeline.

Meanwhile, in Haruto's chat group...

[Group Leader: Fourth Hokage and Kushina, did you see your son? Hurry up and send me what you promised!]

[Ding — Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, gifted Shadow Clone Jutsu to Group Leader.]

[Ding — Kushina Uzumaki gifted Basic Sealing Techniques to Group Leader.]

[Group Leader: Good, good! Now that's generosity!]

[Hashirama Senju: This child is too greedy...]

[Madara Uchiha: Agreed.]

[Izuna Uchiha: Same.]

[Tobirama Senju: Same.]

[Kushina Uzumaki: He might be greedy, but if I get to see my Naruto again, then it's worth it. What good are these techniques to me in death?]

[Minato: But Kushina, he could use them to harm the village...]

[Kushina: I don't care! Did you forget how the villagers treated our son? That's your fault, Minato!]

[Minato: Kushina—]

[Kushina: Shut up.]

[Group Leader: Hehe, don't worry, Fourth Hokage. I'd never hurt the village.]

Haruto smiled happily as he received the gifts.

Meanwhile, Naruto had already confirmed Haruto was a traveller. "System, show me his status," Naruto requested mentally.

[Ding — Yes, Host.]

Name: Haruto

Age: 6

Strength: 6 (10 = average Genin)

Chakra: 10 (10 = average Genin)

Bloodline: None

Special Skills: None

Jutsu:Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu,Shadow Clone Jutsu, basic Sealing Techniques,Uchiha Shuriken Throwing Technique,Senju Basic Swordsmanship , Explosive Tag Creation (Sealing Technique)

Cheat Ability: Chat Group System — allows him to invite deceased people into a chat group, show them the world, and receive gifts from them, including jutsu, experience, and even bloodlines.

"No wonder he's cozying up to me," Naruto thought. "His sealing techniques must've come from my parents. He's clearly in his development stage now. If this keeps up, he'll be overpowered in no time. But looking at his panel, it seems someone gave him the Explosive Tag Creation sealing technique in hopes he'd mess up and blow himself up. Probably Tobirama… but he underestimated the wisdom of a traveller. Now that Haruto has Shadow Clones, he'll use them to safely experiment. Clever move. Still, if I wanted to, I could easily eliminate him with my chakra control, but it will take some time to get along with him"

The chakra refining class ended, and the history lesson began. Naruto noticed Haruto was pretending to sleep, but in reality, he was secretly practicing a technique.

After a few hours, class ended. Children began leaving for home, most walking in groups. Naruto walked alongside Haruto.

I don't know why, but no traveller seems to notice anything strange, Naruto thought. There are so many changes… but they just assume it's all butterfly effects from their own travel. Maybe that's the truth.

Unbeknownst to Naruto, he was right—each of the travellers believed the same: These must be butterfly effects caused by my actions.

Even Haruto, walking next to Naruto, thought," I need to become stronger quickly. Only then can I survive in this world. I also need to master Explosive Tag Creation so I can earn some money. Not everyone is Naruto, who can survive on instant noodles."

Eventually, the two boys parted ways.

Naruto returned home in a sour mood. He had so many plans to deal with these travellers, but under constant surveillance, he couldn't act freely. Worse, he didn't even know the basic Three Body Techniques yet. Otherwise, with his chakra control, he could've started manipulating things already.

He could probably learn them quickly—but strangely, he'd never seen anyone practicing them. Not even once. In this entire Hidden Leaf Village full of ninja, no one was out using or practicing jutsu.

"This has to be the Hokage's doing," he muttered to himself. "But it's fine. I'll handle it."

"Since nothing can be done about third Hokage right now, it's better to focus on other plans instead of wasting time on this matter."

Naruto sat down on bed, lost in thought, planning his next move.
