Lin Mu stepped into the classroom naturally, his gaze sweeping over Shiina Mahiru, who was seated in the middle toward the back. Then he picked up the chalk and wrote his name on the blackboard.
"Hello, everyone. I'm Lin Mu—the unlucky guy who got hit by a car on the first day of school."
His words fell, and the class erupted in laughter.
Lin Mu smiled faintly. "Well, despite the little mishap, I made it out safely. I hope we can all get along from here on out. Please take care of me!"
With that, he gave a polite bow, earning a round of applause.
"Very good, Lin. Find an empty seat and sit down. Class is about to start."
"Got it, sensei."
Carrying his briefcase, Lin Mu slowly walked to the seat by the window in the last row.
