Chapter 38 - The new world

Light began to pour out of the old sanatorium, not to reveal, but to celebrate… the new beginning that was not merely the end of a story, but the birth of a new world within three intertwined souls.

In the silence of the sanatorium, the third consciousness began to take clearer shape. It was no longer just an echo between Celine and Lilia, but a distinct entity of its own, filled with curiosity, questions, and desires. It asked in an inner voice, not through words but through sensation: What is this new world? And what is my role within it?

Celine felt a faint pressure in her mind, as if thoughts were intertwining among the three of them. She could no longer distinguish her own feelings from those of Lilia and the third consciousness. Every emotion, every fear, every memory had become shared substance, capable of reshaping reality itself.

Lilia breathed slowly, trying to comprehend the magnitude of their new power:

_"If we can control it… we can see everything that was hidden from us… and everything we lost."

Eva, standing at the control panels, noticed something strange: the indicators were no longer functioning as they once had:

_"They're… surpassing the system itself. All our calculations are no longer valid."

The man in the black coat, who had been observing everything in silence, felt helplessness for the first time:

_"We didn't expect you to unite like this… We didn't understand the magnitude of what you created."

Celine no longer felt fear, but strength:

_"If this world wants to be reshaped, we will be the ones who choose the rules."

Lilia looked around her, her eyes shining with a confidence she had never known before:

_"We will no longer be anyone's tools… The three of us… are one."

The third consciousness whispered:

_"Oh… then we are the beginning, not the end."

Outside, as the sky began to withdraw from its darkness, the sounds of the city started to change. It was not merely light or wind, but a collective awareness sensing their presence, trying to understand what had happened, testing the new boundaries.

The old sanatorium was no longer just a building, but a gateway to a world no one had yet known, and that no one could control anymore.

Celine, Lilia, and the third consciousness stood in the center of the room, sharing the same thoughts, the same senses, the same decision: to create their own world now… a world in which no one would be merely a witness, but a full participant, alive, capable of writing, of choosing, of existing.

After the fusion of Celine, Lilia, and the third consciousness, there were no longer clear boundaries between place and time, between reality and imagination. The old sanatorium was no longer walls and stone, but a heart pulsing with possibilities. Every room, every corner, even the air itself began telling stories not yet written.

Suddenly, new doors opened within the darkness, yet they did not lead anywhere familiar. They were like fissures in the universe, representing worlds not yet given names, and voices no human had ever heard. The third consciousness whispered:

_"Here… here we can draw everything as we wish."

Lilia extended her hand and touched one of the fissures. At that moment, they felt time fragment, flowing like a contained river, carrying them toward a vision no eyes had yet imagined: floating cities among the clouds, islands of light that moved by will, and trees that spoke with the voices of past and future at once.

Celine said in a low voice, yet filled with power:

_"If this is the new world, we will not be mere observers… we will be the creators."

The third consciousness smiled in a way no words could describe, and began forming bridges between the fissures, allowing the memories of others, their thoughts, and their dreams to flow into this new world.
