Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

"That's not for you to question!" Qin Feng shot a cold glance at the curious soul beast, reprimanding it sharply.

The soul beast immediately shrank back, no longer daring to speculate about Qin Feng's intentions.

Its gaze shifted to Qian Renxue, memorizing her aura and appearance.

With nothing else to do, the soul beasts, after noting Qian Renxue's presence, began returning to their territories. By the time all had come to register her aura and appearance, it was nearing dusk.

Watching the soul beasts disperse, Qian Renxue touched her rumbling stomach. So hungry! It's dinnertime—when can I eat?

Her hungry eyes turned to Qin Feng.

"Hungry?" Qin Feng asked, noticing the girl rubbing her stomach.

Qian Renxue fidgeted with her fingers and nodded. "Mmm!"

At her growing age, missing a single meal left her starving. Though she had eaten heartily at noon, the evening mealtime brought an undeniable hunger.

Raised as the pampered princess of Qian Xunji, Qian Renxue was accustomed to delicacies and fine drinks, making her extremely picky and hard to please. Following a soul beast like the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, she couldn't imagine what her dinner would be. Probably a chunk of raw meat, she thought.

The idea of gnawing on raw meat filled her with dread, but her growling stomach was unbearable. Torn between hunger and reluctance, she wrestled with the thought: If dinner really is raw meat, should I eat it?

Without a word, Qin Feng hooked her collar with his claw, lifting her off the ground. His black wings unfurled, and with a leap, he soared into the sky, heading toward a corner of the Star Dou Forest.

Qian Renxue had no idea where the tiger was taking her, and this direction clearly wasn't toward the human world.

Soon, Qin Feng brought her to a place of serene beauty, with clear mountains, flowing waters, chirping birds, and fragrant flowers. The breathtaking scenery left Qian Renxue stunned, unable to find words to describe it.

Before her lay a paradise—a vast, fertile land planted with various human crops. Some she recognized, others she didn't: vegetables, fruits, wheat, rice, coarse grains, and even rare immortal herbs and spiritual plants.

In the heart of this paradise stood a grand palace, its opulence surpassing even the Pope's Hall where she grew up. It was a dazzling display of wealth—every inch gleaming, adorned with precious stones, truly a place where "every inch of land was gold."

This paradise was Qin Feng's creation, a blessed land he called his "Peach Blossom Haven." The continent originally had no such place. Inspired by the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Qin Feng had used water from the Lake of Life and soil from the Well to create this haven.

As everyone knew, the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well was formed from the essence of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings' corpses buried deep beneath it. If their essence could create such a place, then the Lake of Life—formed from the Silver Dragon King's essence—could do the same. Qin Feng had diverted water from the Lake of Life, transported soil from the Well, and irrigated it to create this sacred land for cultivation.

And he had succeeded.

The soil, originally from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, gained even greater spirituality after being nourished by the Lake of Life's water, surpassing the Well itself. Thus, Qin Feng crafted this new blessed land, naming it the Peach Blossom Haven.

The crops before them—spiritual rice, barley, vegetables, and fruits—were the fruits of Qin Feng's years of cultivation. Though not as potent as the immortal herbs of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well due to their shorter growth time, eating meals made from these crops daily for a decade could turn even a pig into a Titled Douluo.

Qian Renxue had no idea of this haven's value. If it existed in the human world, it could elevate a mediocre family to a top-tier power. She gazed at the fields of wheat, rice, vegetables, and fruits, her confused eyes turning to Qin Feng.

Why would a Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, a tyrant among soul beasts, have such a place?

His beast form was inconvenient here, risking damage to the spiritual fields and plants. So, Qin Feng reverted to a human form, standing behind Qian Renxue with his hands behind his back. Seeing her puzzled expression, he spoke, "As a human, you must be wondering why a soul beast like me has a place like this."

Qian Renxue nodded vigorously. She was indeed curious and baffled. You're a tiger who doesn't eat rice or fruit—why do you have a garden even a human would envy?

As if reading her mind, Qin Feng said calmly, "Because I'm different."

This blessed land could have been used to grow more potent immortal herbs, but as a transmigrator, Qin Feng harbored a deep desire for a pastoral, reclusive life, dreaming of an all-purpose estate. So, after creating this haven, he turned it into his Peach Blossom Haven.

Qian Renxue gasped, clutching her chest and turning away, her eyes wary as if guarding against a predator. Does he have mind-reading powers? How does he know what I'm thinking?

Qin Feng didn't have mind-reading abilities. The girl's thoughts were simply too transparent, her emotions written plainly on her face.

"You don't need to be so wary of me. I don't have mind-reading powers," he said. "I can see through your thoughts because you wear them all on your face."

With that, Qin Feng waved his hand, effortlessly harvesting a basket of wheat. Passing a cabbage patch, he plucked a crisp white cabbage and walked into the mansion.

Qian Renxue followed, noting the fields of wheat, rice, corn, and various vegetables and fruits. This Dark Demon Evil God Tiger clearly knew how to enjoy life—she wouldn't have to eat raw meat after all.

Entering the mansion, Qian Renxue was once again stunned by its decor. She thought the exterior was lavish, but it paled in comparison to the interior: jade pillars, emerald walls, and agate railings.
