That's true it doesn't matter, she hugged him tightly and kissed him I've really missed you . I miss you too, so how are the girls most especially Cassie how is she doing? One could see the love in his eyes when he mentioned his daughter's name, despite asking about the other girls it's obvious to the eyes of the onlookers that this man cares so much about his biological child. Nyssa seeing this clenched her first, she was really mad but she suppressed her anger with a smile. They're all doing fine, you worry too much. So how was your trip hope it was successful? The school is over,most of the students had gone home while some remained in school for other activities Cassie was no different. She stayed behind to read because she knew she wouldn't have any spare time at home. Abigail had already left and the twins must have followed suit I'll head over to the library so I can concentrate more and also help the librarian arrange some of the books that was borrowed. Good afternoon ma, how are you doing? Am good Cassie thank you for asking. After greeting the librarian I took my seat buried myself in my books, after several hours I was tired and famished but I know that I have to volunteer in arranging those books. Ma'am are these the books to be rearranged? Yes they are, thank you so much Cassandra for volunteering to help God bless you. Another thirty minutes passed by and I was finally done arranging the books . The librarian was so grateful, she even offered me tea and biscuits but I had to decline saying I was late . I hurried to the subway and boarded a train back home I sat down and wore my earphones,looked out the window and enjoyed the evening sky in it's glory. I wish mom could see this . I walked home in heavy silence, feeling sad just then I heard my name, looked up and saw my dad at the front porch. He was waving at me excitedly I could see the eagerness in his eyes my heart melted at his excitement to see me he looked like a child excited to his parents. I ran to embrace him and he responded in kind he hugged me so passionately,when we broke the hug . When did you get back dad ? In the afternoon, actually I'm supposed to be home tomorrow but I couldn't because I missed you he told me. I missed you too I hugged him again , now that you're back I have a lot of things to talk about I told him excitedly. Okay I'm game but you have to freshen up first, dad said . Okay I'll back in a jiffy I said quickly ran upstairs to my room but when I opened my bedroom door lo and behold, I saw my step mom and sisters in my room. What are you doing in my room I questioned. You must be happy now that your dad is back Nyssa asked, I didn't say anything to her claim. That doesn't matter to me remember you must say anything to him, she told me.
