Chapter 1 - Prologue

Luminara cove is a picturesque sun-kissed town nestled between gentle hills and a sparkling bay. Its beautiful light streets are lined with jacaranda and flame trees, casting drowsy shadows that dance with warmth. Elysia Delaney was living with her grandfather Henry, they've been living together when Elysia's parents disappeared without a trace, they left Ely in front of his doorstep crying in agony, had scratch, bleeding at the right side of his arms lying in cozy basket wihich is fully arrange ideally, living a note along with it. Henry found out that his daughter actually gave birth with this beautiful girl in front of him, leaving with a note says, " please take care of my daughter, sincerely your's, Emily,". That's how Elysia's life started. A girl grown as sophisticated as an angel, her grandpa name her Elysia which means "paradise" a beautiful gift he had received unexpectedly.

She possessed dazzling beauty with deep ocean eyes reflecting the beautiful serene of a sea, with a curly long golden brown hair. Her lips had a captivating pout, curved in a subtle sulk that seemed to whisper secrets. They were full and heart shaped, with a natural rosiness. Her nose was elegant and refined, with a gentle bridge, and delicate nostrils which complemented her features with a subtle grace.

Henry was so lucky to have her, he never felt alone again after his wife pass away and now his daughter was still missing for how many years and never showed any bit of herself even a single strand of her hair similar to his granddaughter.

Ely, come over here, quik! Henry call his granddaughter who was playing near the water while he himself trying to catch a fish. Elysia was now running towards him, showing her bright smile.

"Grandpa, look what I've got! Beautiful isn't!?" she was showing this pretty shell she had found.

You're really fond of shells, don't you? Henry cannot take his eyes of this beautiful girl which always remind him with his daughter Emily, it reminds him the time when his daughter trying to collect any kind of shells, different colors, and shapes just like Elysia.

"Grandpa, is there something wrong?" Ely was now staring at her grandpa who is lost in a deep thought.

"No, I ahhh .... just wondering what shall I cook for you when we get back". Henry doesn't want to tell about the past of Ely because he, himself, doesn't even know what had happened, he felt sorry for this innocent little girl for not knowing anything about her parents and everything.

"I want to tell you something Ely." Ely turns her back and face her grandpa with a confused look, "What is it?" Henry smiles and give her a reassuring look.

"No matter what happens, I will always protect you, my love." Ely smirk and give Henry a very sweet kiss on his cheeks.

"I love you grandpa!" Henry cannot fathom how happy he is every time Ely express how she really love's him.

"I will never leave you Ely, even if it means to die".
