A week later, more and more rifts keep opening. As Aku walks down the sidewalk, passing multiple people on the way, he sees a crowd gathering around a normal rift procedure. Some people
were recording, some were watching for entertainment, it was crazy how 12 years ago people were terrified, but now it was just normal, there was a large Shrike looking like a creature, but it was
more of a monstrous
Honestly, Aku was surprised that none of the Saviors got impaled on a stick (A shrike is a type of bird that impales
their prey on a stick.)
Watching the Saviors fighting off monsters that were over 9 feet tall was impressive, to say the least. More creatures were pouring out of the rift.
"Shit! Someone cover me, I ran out of magic bullets."
"Gotcha!"
As one of the saviors was reloading, the other 2 were still fighting off the creatures.
A large explosion goes off.
"The Ability Klunck clock boom has been used lvl 5!"
Multiple people were recording the normal rift procedure, probably to post it on YouTube or something. Aku watched for a while then walked away to the park,
as he arrived he saw a lizard like creature a few feet away from the children's park area, Aku knew he had to take
care of it before anyone noticed he thought to himself "Damnit, those saviors are fools how did they let one get away and not only that it could endanger everyone.".
"The creature 'Scales of Iron' has noticed you."
"Just great." Aku picked up a branch and jumped, and lunged at the lizard and killed it with one head swing to the head.
Aku made sure the lizard was dead and threw the branch into a nearby river for fishing.
An hour later, after an adult who was bringing their kid to the park had reported it,
soon the clean up staff of BOSOA came along with one of the
S-grade-ranked Savior, Kio Young.
"Make sure to check for clues, rookie," Kio said while already searching the nearby area.
"Got it, boss." The rookie said clearly not trying to start anything with a S-grade-ranked Savior.
"Uh, boss.." The rookie said, confused.
"What is it, rookie?" Kio said while walking over.
"There's no magical abilities anywhere, nor are there traces of magic in this area.." The rookie said with astonishment.
"Huh, are you sure? You double checked?" Kio said clearly, not believing what the rookie was saying
"Yes, yes, I swear there's actually nothing.." The rookie said quickly
"These unregistered saviors are a completely different breed," Kio said while sighing.
Later that day, in a convenience store, Aku was stocking some shelves. The afternoon shift had just started.
