Raven walked into his courtyard as usual. He pushed open the door leading to other worlds and stepped inside.
Emerging from the door, the sky showed no noticeable difference; it was still daytime. Raven then walked into the building. The interior looked slightly different, but it was still in the shape of a café.
He walked up and turned on the television. The fastest way to understand a new world is through the news.
Soon, a news report caught Raven's attention.
"Unidentified Life Forms numbers Seven and Eight appear to be suppressed..."
"They are engaged in a fierce battle within the police cordon."
"Their forms can be clearly seen from here."
On the screen of the bulky, old-fashioned TV, police officers, although armed with weapons and riot shields, looked extremely tense. Not far away, three humanoid creatures were fighting intensely. Two Kaijin were attacking a red figure.
The red figure was none other than Kamen Rider Kuuga.
"So I've come to the world of Kamen Rider Kuuga? But something feels a bit off..." Raven instinctively thought.
He glanced at the address on the news report, which wasn't far from his location. To confirm things, he decided to step outside.
He had barely taken a few steps out the door when he was bumped into by a clumsy figure.
"Ah!" A delicate cry immediately escaped. It was clearly a girl.
The girl was about to fall to the ground, but Raven swiftly caught her by the waist. With a gentle pull, she pressed against his chest.
Startled, the girl instinctively wrapped her arms tightly around Raven's body.
"Are you alright?"
Raven took a closer look. The woman before him was none other than Natsumi Hikari, the heroine of Decade and the "stocking enthusiast."
No wonder the news looked so familiar earlier. It seemed he had traveled to the world Decade was currently visiting. This particular world was the realm of Yusuke Onodera's Kuuga, or rather, the world of Kamen Rider Kuuga (specifically the one depicted in Decade).
"I am so sorry, I'm terribly sorry," Natsumi Hikari apologized, her cheeks flushed.
"So, could you let go of me now?" Raven asked her with an amused smile.
"Ah!" Natsumi realized Raven had already let go, but she was still clinging to him. She quickly backed away, unwilling to meet his gaze.
She had secretly examined him just now. A single glance was enough to flutter her heart. He was an incredibly handsome man, exactly matching her ideal image of a future partner. She momentarily wondered if she was dreaming.
"You're the person from the photo studio next door, aren't you?" Raven's eyes quickly landed on the adjacent building, the Hikari Studio, right next to his café.
"Eh?" Raven's words snapped the daydreaming Natsumi Hikari out of her reverie.
"I'm the owner of this café. If you don't mind, how about stepping inside for a drink?" Raven extended an invitation to Natsumi Hikari, his eyes openly appraising her.
Today, she was wearing a pair of super-short hot pants, and her beautiful legs were encased in yellow stockings. On her feet were a pair of short-heeled shoes. While the overall fashion style was a bit dated, her looks and figure carried the ensemble.
Speaking of stockings, throughout the series, Natsumi Hikari seemed to have worn every color imaginable, constantly showing off her legs. She was truly a "stocking enthusiast." However, her sense of style was slightly lacking, partially masking her inherent beauty and charm. Otherwise, she would have been even more popular.
"Since when was there a café next to my house?" Natsumi, having just walked out the door, didn't understand what had happened. She looked up, and her beautiful eyes widened instantly. Everything around her looked completely different from before. If not for her family's sign still being there, she would have suspected she walked into the wrong place.
"Could this be another world?" Natsumi suddenly realized something.
"Excuse me, please wait for me," she apologized to Raven and turned to go back into the photo studio.
Shortly after she went inside, a patrol officer on a bicycle stopped outside the photo studio. Raven glanced over. The person was the famous Tsukasa Kadoya, Kamen Rider Decade.
In every world he traveled to, he gained a new identity or profession to better integrate into the local society. It was almost as if he came with a built-in system.
Raven immediately followed Natsumi inside.
Natsumi Hikari was currently holding out a newspaper that her grandfather, Eijiro Hikari, had been reading. She was clearly shocked by the information on it. She rushed to Tsukasa Kadoya, who had just returned. "Look at this!"
"Unidentified Life Forms," Tsukasa read the headline and quickly scanned the contents. "Unidentified Life Forms have appeared in this world, and they're fighting the police?"
After speaking, Tsukasa hurriedly walked towards the pile of old newspapers near the entrance.
"It seems we really did come to another world," Natsumi Hikari commented.
"What are you two talking about?" Raven walked into the photo studio.
"Natsumikan, who is he?" Tsukasa looked up at Raven, who had suddenly entered.
"Oh, he's the owner of the café next door. We just met," Natsumi quickly explained.
"I see," Tsukasa quickly dismissed it and continued flipping through the newspapers in his hand, soon noticing something.
"Unidentified Life Form No. 4." He looked at the picture of Kuuga on the front page of the newspaper. "This seems to be what this world calls Kamen Riders."
"This is the world of Kuuga," Raven suddenly stated from the side.
"Kuuga?" Hearing the name, Tsukasa seemed to react and looked at Raven curiously. Even Natsumi looked bewildered. She had thought Raven was just an ordinary person, but now he seemed much more complicated.
"It seems you know something." Tsukasa's intuition told him that Raven might have information about this world. It was even possible that Raven was like them, a traveler from another world.
