As i woke up i found myself bound to a strange table, probably an altar.
A big man wearing golden armor encrusted in diamonds came to me and said that i would be of great use for them, but not the perfect sacrifice.
These bandits and assassins all hated my parents. Catching their only son seemed like a victory to them, but they don't know yet. That my parents hate me just as much as the gang hates them. The only person who cared about me was uncle Rukoji, but he is no more.
I tried to loosen up the knots with my fingers but they were just too tight.
As i accepted my fate and was ready to die, i saw someone
A boy. Hiding behind some rocks looking at me. He had 1 green and 1 red iris, both slightly glowing.
'What is he doing here?', i thought to myself.
As the man in gold armor was ready to start the ritual and open a gate to te world of the souls.
Someone objected.
It was one of the bandits.
"I found a better sacrificial lamb." He said with a proud expression on his scarred face.
"Even more qualified for a ritual this big."
'I remember him, that's the guy who knocked me out at uncle Rukoji's house.'
"Exelent work my servant.", the man in gold said.
"I see you have caught Daiki." He said again.
I remember him now.
He was uncle Rukoji's neighbor.
He used to help my nephew Bento all the time.
I heard that he hasn't unlocked controll of his mana yet, because he is too young. I also heard that he came from the mightiest of families, but why would he live in a small village in the mountains. 'Are his parents gone?'
The bandits removed me from the table and set me free.
"Consider this your lucky day!", the man in gold shouted for everyone present to hear. Acting like he is a hero.
They placed the boy on the altar and tried to tie his hands and feet together, but Daiki resisted.
It didn't take too long for the bandits to tie the knots, because Daiki isn't strong enough.
He still has no mastery on his usage of mana.
I could see faint sparks of mana trying to form a spell, but it's probably out of rage and not his own doing.
