A/N: Hey guys, its me Foul. Guess who came back with more retcons and fun facts before the next chapter started: ME! {Maniacal laughter} anyway, back on point this will once more continue to be added and alter the canon of this story:
#1: Like I said in the previous chapter Theo is proficient with any weapon, however Theo prefers bladed weapons the most, even things like spears, naganitia's, etc. So any type of weapon that has a blade (not just swords) Theo would favor mostly.
#2: Theo has an enhanced sense of smell from his dragon heritage but rarely uses it.
#3: Theo has not unlocked his Full Potential but is still capable of using the Elements to a better extent than any of the Ninja or Elemental Masters. Theo can unlock his Full Potential easily but chooses not to because of reasons that will be explained later in the series.
#4: Theo's heacannon voice is Billy Kametz. (In his Asmodeus Alice impression; Rest in Peace, 1987 - 2022)
#5: Despite Theo intimidating others when Lloyd is getting insulted, he would do the same for the other Ninja, just mainly Lloyd due to having his older brother-like relationship with him.
#6: Theo would never recklessly use Oni Form unless enraged or bloodlusted; Yes this can happen in the future of the series.
#7: Unlike Lloyd and Garmadon Theo can stay in his Oni Form as long as he wants and can only get out of it if he is knocked out of it.
#8: Theo has an ordinary Oni Form and a Golden Oni Form, though for the latter Theo's Golden Oni Form is actually a manifestation of Golden Power, Creation, and his Oni Power, not the form taking on the appearance of what clothing or armour they are wearing like it did with Lloyd.
#9: Theo can now use Spectral Magic due to Thunderfang being able to do it in the Season 3 Part 2 (As of right now which is mostly leaked) although Thunderfang could only use this due to being a spirit I decided to give it to Theo anyway despite him being alive.
#10: Theo can turn into a full dragon like he can do with Oni Form, the same conditions I put with Oni Form in #8 apply to this same ability but in a draconic way, in Dragon Form he is naturally larger than any Arc Dragon as well as Firstbourne herself but he chooses to shrink himself down to the size of an Ordinary Arc Dragon.
#11: As a Dragon Theo can use telepathy naturally whether he is in or out of his dragon form, though he can also use telepathy with the Mind Element.
#12: Theo would play video games with the Ninja but does not understand them that much or enjoy them that much either, in all honesty when Theo uses technology to build vehicles he does not actually understand them that well either and it is more so his powers help him out with the actual creation(s) of them.
#13: Theo is quite fond of cinnamon.
And without further ado, lets get into the chapter!
[3P POV]
Theo had woken up instantly, just recalling the events that had happened a night before "Wh- Who is he?" Theo weakly says before Lloyd and Jay run into the room "Theo! Your awake" He happily says "Yeah, you missed Kai's big match" Jay adds "Woah guys, one thing at a time. Also why was I laying in my bed?" Theo asks.
"Well you just were, when we found out you weren't at any of the games we started to panic but we couldnt leave so we had to wait for the matches to be over to come and find you and you were here out cold, did you fight someone?" Lloyd asks concerned "Oh, uh... No, just a heavy sleeper" Theo lies, Jay has a look of suspicion but decides to focus on the next round.
"Cmon everybody's waiting lets go see who's on the next round" Jay points out as they all run outside and join the other Ninja as well as Garmadon to see everybody chattering and whispering to each other "Whats all the commotion?" Jay asks before the Ninja, Theo, and Garmadon gaze upon the competitors of the next battle as they all gasp, save Theo.
"No, he cant do this!" Cole claims "He already did" Lloyd says "That bastard" Theo mutters under his breath "We have to fight each other" Cole says to Jay "Agh, why does it say I have to fight Cole? It didnt say that before; I'm not ready to fight! It was supposed to be my day off..." Jay claims "I tried to warn you but you never listen. Talk, yes, listen, not so much" Cole responds.
"Is there a problem Ninja and your highness?" Clouse asks "You cheated! You changed the brackets!" Cole shouts "Oopsie" Clouse responds smugly as a goon next to him starts to laugh, Garmadon walks up "What can we do, they cant fight each other. We came here to become whole, not fall further apart" Lloyd says "You cant undo whats been done" Garmadon says "I can" Theo says as his hands glow bright copper yellow signifying the Reversal aspect of the Time Element but decides not to do anything, luckily for him no one noticed.
"–My only advice is to be at peace with it" Garmadon adds "Peace?! One of us has to lose! Oh my gosh, its totally gonna be me! He's got Super Strength, and what do I have? Quick tell me, WHAT DO I HAVE?!" Jay desperately asks "Humour and Electrokinesis" Theo responds "Well at least someone is straightforward" Jay somewhat happily points out.
"Look, we find Zane and then none of us have to battle. Your fight isnt until tonight so we still have time to figure out what Chen's up to, and stop this" Lloyd issues "I think I know just the person who can help, and I think he already knows" Kai says "Your looking for the Master of Mind, but you dont need him as long as you have me who already knows" Theo states "Cmon, lets go" Kai issues 'Do I not even exist to them?' Theo thinks.
{Scene Break}
The Ninja as well as Theo go to the outside area to find Neuro meditating on a rock "We need your help Neuro" Lloyd says "You think I can get close to Chen to read his mind so you can find your robotic friend and not have to fight" Neuro responds "Dont forget–" Kai says but is cut off "You still need to know what Chen's up to because he's hiding something" Neuro adds.
"Thats really impressive Nerdo" Jay points out "Its Neuro, Master of the Mind. And Cole thinks Jay wont last long enough in a fight" Neuro claims "Pfft, you think that?!" Jay asks "Well you said it yourself" Cole says "But you didnt have to believe it!" Jay claims "Dont be offended Cole, Jay here thinks your the least valuable Ninja" Neuro claims.
"You dont say!" Cole says as he starts to fight with Jay once more "We wanted you to help Neuro, not make things worse!" Lloyd says "Why would I help? Your competition, the sooner your out, the better for me" He responds "If you want whats best for you, just look into my head and you'll see what this tournament is all about" Lloyd says as Neeuro looks into Lloyd's head "Its only a matter of time before Chen steals your power too, so are you in?" Lloyd asks.
{Scene Break; Once More}
The stadium is full of all the contestants and the majority of Chen's staff as well as Clouse, Garmadon, and everyone else. Theo looks on as the Ninja talk to Jay and Cole before coming back up "You tried your best, the rest is up to them" Garmadon states "I hope they can see that too" Lloyd adds "Let the tournament continue! Jay, Master of Lightning, vs Cole, Master of–" Chen announces but cuts himself off as he sees the two running at each other before he could even finish speaking.
'Why are they using their Elemental Powers so recklessly?! The Source Dragons would have been ashamed, those powers are not just about shooting lightning or throwing rocks, its about finding peace within themselves to command the very powers of creation!' Theo thinks, but before long he sees the two make up which despite Theo's disappointment, he brings up a small smile.
Vehicles start to rev up around Jay and Cole and Theo's eyes start to glow a bright pink and so do his hands, but he decides to stop and let the two have their moment "They fight together, good work son" Garmadon congratulates "Yeah, I do listen to you every once in a while" Lloyd responds, eventually Jay and Cole take out every vehicle in the arena however, their stunts did not go unnoticed.
"Enoguh! I know what you are trying to do. Neither of you will win? Then both of you will lose!" Chen issues as he starts spam pressing his chairs buttons left and right causing the stone on the stadium floor to fall in the shape of tiles, Cole then climbs the pillar with the Jade Blade at the top before throwing it to Jay and jumping down onto the stone tiles, Theo could not make out the words but decided not to use the Element of Sound to listen in, regardless of this Cole was dropped into the assumed pit where his powers were to be later taken by Chen.
"Ugh, about time" Chen says, Theo hesitates to strangle him out but remembers to not act out in anger "Cole may be gone, but he did not lose, let what he did today be a lesson for us all: know thy enemy, but more importantly, know thy friend. He fought like a true Ninja" Garmadon states.
[Much Later On; The Next Day]
Theo had slept through all the way onto the next day, he couldnt stop thinking about what had happened the day before yesterday when he fought that strange person, it was the first time Theo had actually felt fear OF someone instead of FOR someone for a very VERY long time, despite this after waking up apparently the quarters were taken away so he went and joined up with the Ninja and the other Elemental Masters, he decided to get up using the Element of Light to go unnoticed and walk outside the semi-shack 'Chow House' area.
[Theo POV]
In this island a lot of things have gone wrong, mainly that weird fellow... That I would rather not think about... Snooping sound this island has been a problem for the Ninja, and me if I am to do it later so I think its best to do something I have never tried before, create my own Elemental Power.
First I envision what I want it to do and its colours, this ability will allow me and anyone I may bestow it on to create portals, the colour of these portals will be violet, the users can manually open portals of any size depending on the power of the user to any place in the realm they reside in.
The users will also have the ability to blast portals like a portal gun, when they do so their hands will glow violet and they can shoot two places that will intercept. Without manually shooting it hand gestures can be made to remotely open portals from any close range to any desired distance in the realm as well; The effect of these portals are instantaneous and can last any amount of time and can only be removed by the person who made it, unless the portal is either absorbed or negated by Vengestone; The limit to the amount of portals that can be made is two at a time only
When this Elemental Power is enhanced the Element will have the power to virtually warp space and travel any distance across any realm instantaneously and even teleport to the same extent as well as open any select amount of portal the user desires. As an Elemental Power I allow this ability to be negated by Vengestone, replicated by Amber, and absorbed by Chronosteel to any user that is not me, the Vengestone weakness only slightly limits my power and does not negate them fully just like with the other Elements.
After I finish this I see my hand is holding a violet circle and I envision where I want it to be and it is there, I then do the same with a second portal, I walk through it and I come out of the other one, who knew creating Elements was that easy to the point where it only took a few seconds, at least to me. Even so this ability will be very useful later on and maybe even on the secret round that they will announce later on, which of course I looked into the likely future to see; Now then, what will this next hour hold?
[3P POV]
Theo walks back to his bed and lies in bed, for some reason no one seemed to notice him despite him not using the Element of Light "Couldnt sleep either huh?" Jay says to Lloyd and presumably Theo "Not when we still have to get Zane and Cole back" Kai states "Ah, speaking of back[s], these new beds are the worst" Lloyd says "Alright, lets–" Lloyd is cut off by the gongs and the lights turning on "Quick, back in bed!" Kai says a s they all get back into their bed and pretend to wake up.
"Good morning fighters and your highness, oh thats right: It's the middle of the night" Clouse says as roller skates are put on everybody.'s feet by Clouse's goons "Roller skates?!" Kai panics as he falls over and the Master of Amber helps him up "Thanks" he says "Let me guess, another one of Chen's impromptu battles" Lloyd rhetorically asks.
"Oh roller skates! I love roller skates!" Jay happily claims "We should be getting used to this by now" Lloyd says "Did I ever mention I once placed first in the mother-son skate-off. I should have never admitted that" Jay adds as he does a trick by sliding across the small counter "Weirdo" the Master of Light says "Master Chen wants everyone in the Royal Arena, I wouldnt be late if I were you" Clouse says (possibly 'warns') "If most of us have already fought, why are we all in skates?" the Master of Amber asks.
"Only two of you will be fighting, but the rest of you will have a chance to affect the outcome" Clouse states "Who's fighting? Tell us now" Griffin Turner happily and curiously asks, Clouse uses a hand gesture and calls all his goons back "The Green Ninja vs the Master of Form" Clouse answers as he shuts the two doors.
And everyone begins to chatter "Master of Form? Who's that?" Lloyd asks 'Kai' "You havent–" She begins to say but is cut off "Nice try Chamille, I can see right through your disguise" Theo blandly claims "What do you mean, I'm Kai" 'He' starts to get nervous "We all first say Kai struggling with roller skates which you seem to be adept at, and that minor description fits the REAL Kai over there" Theo states as he points to the real Kai "Aw your no fun" Chamille says as she disperses her disguise "Hey, thanks for that Theo" Lloyd says "Anytime" He responds.
{Scene Break; Yes, Again (I am sorry there is so many)}
The Elemental Masters make their way through a small tunnel "I dont like the look of this" Lloyd says slightly worried "Dont worry, we got your back" Kai says but falls over right after; They scate up the ledge and come up to find themselves in the 'Arena' with a set of helmets to their right.
"Welcome to my favorite event, Thunderblade!" Chen announced as he [rolled] in "Hey I know this game, it's just like–" Griffin Turner was cut off "No! It's not like that, this is my game I made it up, Fully Original! A Jade Blade for you Lloyd, Master of the Golden Power, and another for Chamille, Master of Form... Where, where are you? Oh, there you are" Chen and threw Chamille the blade said as Chamille revealed herself.
"Rules are simple, each lap you complete with your blade in possession, a point, most points before time expires, you win" Chen elaborates "Woah, woah, woah, what about us? Are we just supposed to stand here?" Griffin Turner asks "You get to help anyone you wish, or hurt for that matter. Your free to choose sides I'm not a dictator" Chen answered, immediately after that every Elemental Master aside from Theo and the other Ninja joined Chamille's side.
"What was that you said about us having targets on our back?" Lloyd rhetorically asks "Dont worry, were still a tea— woah!" Kai falls over "I gotta be honest, this dosent look good" Jay points out "Lloyd, Master of the Golden Power vs Chamille, Master of Form, most laps with their Jade Blade when time runs out wins, loser is out. Thunderbladers! On your mark... Get set, good luck to everyone but mostly Chamille because we all want the Green Ninja out! Now Go!" Chen shouts as a horn signifies the start of the match as they both start skating at their fastest as fake spectator ambience plays which signifies everyone else to start skating.
"Its us against the world Kai! If Lloyd has any chance of winning it's up to you and me!" Jay says "Uhm, then what about me then?" Theo asks but gets no response 'Am I getting ignored?' Theo thinks before Jay and Kai are speaking before Jay sends a blast of lightning clearing a path for him, Kai falls on top of him. Theo clears his mind before using the Element of Balance to stabilize his path on the roller skates to access Spinjitzu which he manages to achieve before grabbing Lloyd in it and throwing him past the lap just before Chamille.
Lloyd is struggling to get past the crowd of Element Masters so Theo decides to help uses the Figment Element 'You are many, but so am I' Theo thinks before creating multiple semi-illusionary copies of himself and enhancing themself with the Element of Speed while pulling Theo past the laps "That's my power! How is he using my power?!" Griffin Turner asks in complete shock.
Theo then notices how the Elemental Masters start to overwhelm Kai and Jay and Theo knew there was a limit on what he should do in such an open area, luckily for him he saw a buggy with Kai and Skylor helping out Lloyd as he got on "Need a lift?" Kai asks "You took the buggy!" Lloyd exclaims happily "We took the buggy; Take the wheel!" Kai says as Lloyd notices Skylor as the two of them hop out, and as Lloyd gets in the lift is then turned into a bright Golden colour and exterior.
Theo then sees as Lloyd approaches Chamile "We don't have to keep fighting each other, we can all win!" Lloyd says "All of us?" Chamille asks "United" Lloyd says, however Chamille betrays him and pulls him out of the buggy and laughs at him "Only one can remain" She says as she scores another point "Okay I have had enough!" Theo's eyes start to glow bright red and his tail and horns flicker up with red lightning and corrupted energy signifying the Source of Chaos derived from Thunderfang along with an aura of both Oni and Dragon souls that he had once absorbed and is able to control, being inside Theo slightly becoming visible.
"Lloyd hand me the blade, I will finish this" Theo states "Uhm... Okay" Lloyd says as he hands him the Jade Blade, Theo then uses the Element of Speed and Reflex and enhanced them over tenfold and whizzes around the skating arena at a speed that everyone can barely even process "Holy shi— Theo's breaking Lightning speed, he's almost going as fast as light, look the scorekeeper cant even keep up!" Jay points out, Chen is seem visibly fuming, eventually time runs out and Theo throws the Jade Blade onto the floor.
"No! NO!!" Chen shouts as the Elemental Masters cheer for Lloyd (more specifically Theo for his feats moreover which granted Lloyd the win in the match) "He cheated! The Prince helped him, Lloyd loses!" Chen shouts "No way, Lloyd won fair and square. You said were allowed to help anyone we want so Theo using his Jade Blade to get the win was within bounds; You were the one who cheated" Griffin Turner states.
"My tournament, my rules" Chen claims "Enough of your bullshit Chen" Theo coldly says as his entire body is still emanating Chaos Energy and the spirits he absorbed in his time in the First Realm "And just what rules are those? If Lloyd's out, then so am I!" The Master of Light states "Me too!" Kai adds "And me three!" Jay adds "Me four" Theo states "If you kick as all out, what kind of tournament will you have then?" Skylor asks.
"Fine have it your way, Form loses!" Chen angrily exclaims as he presses a button dropping Chamille down into the underground |+[{(How was the fall?)}]+| as the majority of the Elemental Masters cheer for Lloyd and Theo; Skylor whispers something to Kai but Theo dosen't care, from now on Theo might just show what he is truly capable of.
