Kuro muttered in surprise, carefully looking at Kaoru's summoning beast. When he looked at the River King's eyes, Kuro shivered.
"That summoning beast's eyes... are Sharingan! Could it be that he didn't tame this summoning beast, but it's his Sharingan's ability..."
Kuro's face was full of confusion. "That kid's Sharingan is really strange. When I destroyed the Uchiha clan with Itachi, I noticed that his Sharingan was weird. I thought he had already awakened the Mangekyo, and this was the power it gave him, but now he summoned a beast..."

On the other side, Shin was getting closer to Kaoru's location.

"Yo, little brother, where are you going...?" A lazy voice said. Shin stopped and looked up, seeing Hozuki Mangetsu lying on a tree branch.
"You're... that Kirigakure Genin who tried to attack Deidara!" Shin said with a frown.
"I'm Hozuki Mangetsu, what's your name?" Hozuki Mangetsu asked with a smile.
"Shin," Shin said quickly and firmly. "But I don't have time to talk to you right now."
Shin started running forward again.
Suddenly, something appeared in front of Shin. He looked closely and saw a sword wrapped in bandages.
The bandaged sword spun quickly, attacking Shin.
"Damn it!" Shin bent backward, dodging the bandaged sword.
The sword continued to spin and flew back to Hozuki Mangetsu like a boomerang.
"What are you doing, you bastard!" Shin shouted angrily at Hozuki Mangetsu.
"What am I doing? Funny, right?"
Hozuki Mangetsu stood up from the tree branch and jumped to the ground, standing in front of Shin.
"Come on, aren't we here for the Chunin Exams? This is the Forest of Death, so we have to fight to get scrolls!" Hozuki Mangetsu said casually.
"I don't have any scrolls, so stopping me is pointless," Shin said coldly.
"Get out of my way, I don't have time to play games!"
"It's okay if you don't have any..." Hozuki Mangetsu smiled. "I don't want that junk anyway."
"Your goal isn't the scrolls...?" Shin's voice was colder. "Then why are you stopping me?"
"It's simple." Hozuki Mangetsu took out another sword from behind his back and said darkly, "A fight. I need a big fight to get my blood pumping. I wonder if you can satisfy me?"
"This guy..." Shin's eyes flashed with surprise. Was this Kirigakure guy crazy? He just wanted to fight for no reason.
"Too bad, I don't have time right now. I have something more important to do!" Shin replied.
"Let me guess..." Hozuki Mangetsu still smiled. "You want to save your friend, right?"
Hozuki Mangetsu's words shocked Shin!
"How do you know that?!" Shin asked.
"It's simple..." Hozuki Mangetsu waved his hand. "I saw it earlier. That red-eyed kid is being attacked by some Leaf Village ninjas."
"Ah, you Leaf Village people really like fighting each other. And, if you ask me... that kid, your friend, is about to lose." Hozuki Mangetsu smiled evilly.
"Kaoru!" Shin's face showed anxiety. He was worried, but he knew that Hozuki Mangetsu wouldn't let him pass.
"So, you're determined to block my way?" Shin clenched his fists and said.
"That's right. If you want to pass, use your own strength," Hozuki Mangetsu said with a smile.
"You're asking for death!" Shin stopped talking and took out a scroll, quickly drawing!
"What is this ninjutsu?!" Hozuki Mangetsu's eyes showed surprise.
In a moment, Shin finished drawing.
"Ninja Art: Super Beast Imitation Drawing!" Three eagles jumped out of Shin's scroll, attacking Hozuki Mangetsu.
"A very interesting ninjutsu!" Hozuki Mangetsu chuckled, holding his swords. He swung both swords, cutting two ink eagles into ink.
Hozuki Mangetsu stepped back to dodge the last eagle's attack. Then, he threw the bandaged sword, which flew like a boomerang and destroyed Shin's last ink eagle.
"Your ninjutsu looks fancy, but it's surprisingly weak in battle..." Hozuki Mangetsu shook his head sadly, looking disappointed in Shin's ninjutsu.
"If that's all you've got... don't even think about saving your friend. You can't even save yourself!"
Hozuki Mangetsu mocked and threw the bandaged sword at Shin's head. He disappeared in a Body Flicker Technique.
"Hmph!" Shin turned slightly, dodging the flying sword. At that moment, Hozuki Mangetsu appeared behind Shin.
"Got you!" He caught the sword and swung both swords at Shin.
"Stab!" Shin's body was hit by Hozuki Mangetsu's two swords.
"Did I just take care of him that easily?" Hozuki Mangetsu smiled.
"Bang!" Something unexpected happened. Shin's body suddenly exploded into a large amount of ink.
The ink splashed everywhere, especially on Hozuki Mangetsu's swords. The bandages wrapped around the swords were almost completely black.
"This is..." Hozuki Mangetsu was stunned, looking at the black ink on his swords in disbelief.
"Is it a Shadow Clone Technique? No... what's with all this ink?" Hozuki Mangetsu wondered.
"This isn't an ordinary clone technique." Shin appeared behind a tree in front of Hozuki Mangetsu, watching him warily.
"This is the Ink Clone Technique," Shin continued.
