Three months passed quietly.
During this time, envoys from the Land of Bizi and the Land of Soshino came one after another to the Land of Hane, all asking about the "fallen meteorite."
There were also rumors spreading that Shin'en had taken a stunningly beautiful woman as his wife.
He brushed all the questions aside with vague answers.
The envoys from the Land of Soshino were polite enough. Those from the Land of Bizi, however, were far more arrogant, their words dripping with veiled threats.
Shin'en didn't take it to heart.
That night, frost glazed the ground, and the moon shone clear over a sky sparsely dotted with stars.
On the grass outside the main hall, Kaguya stood motionless, gazing up at the heavens, as if entranced by the moonlight.
Suddenly, a pair of strong, pale hands wrapped around her from behind, draping a black cloak over her shoulders.
Kaguya merely tilted her head slightly, glancing at Shin'en, then turned back to the sky.
After all, this had become their nightly routine.
"The moonlight is beautiful tonight."
Standing beside her, Shin'en's voice was soft, almost a whisper — as though he feared disturbing the bashful stars above.
For three months, Shin'en had accompanied Kaguya every night beneath the stars, rarely breaking the silence.
This time, Kaguya turned her head and studied him quietly.
"Is your homeland up there? You must miss it, being so far from home," he said gently."They say if one makes a sincere wish upon the stars, it will come true someday.
Kaguya… what is your wish?"
Kaguya lifted her gaze once more to the vast night sky.
After a long pause, she turned back to him.
"I wish for eternal peace… for a world without war."
Her voice was softer than moonlight — warm, yet fragile.
Moved by her sincerity, Shin'en felt a tremor in his chest.
"Though we've only known each other for a month, it feels as if I've known you for years," he said softly."There's so much I want to tell you… yet I don't know where to begin."
He stepped closer, tightening the cloak around her shoulders.
"If you'll allow it, I'll stay by your side — to gaze at the stars with you, to witness the peace you long for. I won't ever leave."
Shin'en gently took Kaguya's hand, his fingers closing over hers.
"I'm just an ordinary human. My life may last only a few decades. But you… you may never grow old, never die.
To you, my life will be nothing more than an instant.Even so, I wish to give that instant to you.
And when you someday look back on this moment, I hope you'll find it meaningful.Whatever you're afraid of, whatever you're holding inside — I hope, right now, your heart feels warm."
As his words flowed, Kaguya's eyes softened, shimmering with faint light.
Hand in hand, they stood beneath the stars, silent but connected.
The night sky slowly faded to a deep blue, and when the first pale rays of dawn crept across the horizon, another night had passed.
Five such sleepless nights followed.
On the sixth, Shin'en's body gave out. He fell onto his bed early, exhausted from the long nights.
Lack of rest, broken sleep cycles — soon he developed a fever.
Burning hot, he drifted in and out of delirium.
In his haze, Shin'en felt something warm and smooth slip into his bed.
He jolted slightly — that touch didn't feel like a dream.
Turning around, he saw Kaguya lying beside him.
"Kaguya… what are you doing?" His feverish mind cleared just enough to form the question, though his head still throbbed.
"Ai said… as your wife, this is my duty."
Kaguya's voice was quiet. Seeing his pained expression, she placed her cool hand upon his forehead.
The cold touch soothed him instantly.
Then a faint warmth spread from her fingertips into his head — like flowing energy.
"Ah…"
A strange comfort washed over him, easing his pain. Before long, Shin'en drifted into a deep sleep.
When the morning light slipped through the wooden shutters and brushed his face, Shin'en slowly woke.
"Huh? The pain's gone?"
His fever had vanished completely.
Last night had been torture — like his skull was being split apart.
"Wait… that wasn't a dream!"
The faint fragrance on the bedding made his eyes sharpen.
He remembered: Kaguya had come, touched his forehead, and infused him with a cool, soothing power before he fell asleep.
Realization struck him — he quickly sat up, crossed his legs, and began meditating to refine chakra.
Ten minutes later, his eyes snapped open, a gleam of joy flashing within.
It was chakra — Kaguya's chakra!
She had infused it into his body!
[Spirit: 65][Cultivation Method: Chakra Refinement Technique – LV3]
The interface in his mind had changed — the refinement skill that was once LV0 had jumped straight to LV3!
The chakra within him flowed like a river; his refining speed had multiplied several times over.
Even his Spirit attribute had increased by nearly one point.
Stepping out of bed, Shin'en looked around the room. His gaze fell on a wooden stool by the potted plants.
"Let's test this…"
He gathered chakra into his palm and gripped one corner of the stool.
Crack!
The wood splintered under his fingers. With a light twist, he snapped the leg clean off.
"So this… is the power of Ōtsutsuki chakra?"
He stared in amazement at his hand.
He had used only a tiny trace of chakra — without even exerting full strength.
And yet, the destructive force far exceeded what he could achieve in his original body in the Naruto world.
"The quality isn't even comparable… but the quantity is still too small."
He thought to himself, both impressed and dissatisfied.
Though Kaguya had only infused a small amount, it had awakened the ability to refine chakra on his own.
He didn't yet know how far this new body's potential went, but it was clearly on a level far above his original.
Satisfied with the test, Shin'en stepped outside to practice the Gentle Fist.
With chakra now flowing through his body, even without the Byakugan, his strikes carried a power that couldn't be underestimated.
"Yako, where's Kaguya?"
He asked as he spotted the maid sweeping under the corridor.
"Your Majesty, Lady Kaguya is having breakfast in the side hall," she replied respectfully.
"I see."
Shin'en nodded, then moved to the courtyard to train.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
With chakra enhancing each strike, his movements grew faster and more fluid, fists breaking through the air with forceful gusts.
Time passed unnoticed.
Then Junichi rushed into the corridor, breathless — clearly with urgent news.
