Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 – The World Without Heroes

Tarou stood amidst ruins.

The Headmaster was gone. The Academy burned.

Students gathered, silent, watching him.

> "Everything you knew was a lie," Tarou said, voice steady.

"We were never students—we were reborn soldiers in a repeating world."

Gasps filled the air.

Yet not one person fled.

Ren stepped forward.

> "Then let's end it. Together."

One by one, every student stood beside Tarou.

From the shadows, a mysterious woman appeared—her presence serene, ageless.

> "So this is the outcome you chose, Tarou," she said.

"Perhaps… this ending will finally be different."

And then, the world began to crumble like glass.

Yukino ran to him, tears streaming.

Tarou's strength was fading fast.

> "Tarou! Don't you dare disappear again!"

"Yukino… I'm sorry. I wanted you to live in a world without heroes."

She shook her head, pulling him close.

> "Then let's live in one together."

She pressed her lips against his—

a kiss that crossed thousands of lifetimes.

> "I love you," she whispered.

"Next time, I believe fate will still bring us together."

The light swallowed them whole.

And for the first time in 17,693 cycles—

the world bloomed anew.
