Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The King of Sword Strikes — Zaraki Kenpachi!

The term Mitarashi in Japanese culture refers to the purification basin beside shrines.

Only those basins located at shrines are truly called Mitarashi.

Of course, Konoha has no shrines, though the surname of the Mitarashi clan has endured. If one must mention shrines, the Uchiha clan does have one, but it has little to do with the Mitarashi lineage.

By this generation, after the Third Shinobi World War, only a single person remained to carry the bloodline of the so-called Mitarashi clan.

Anko, a girl five years older than Hakken Yoru, had just graduated from the Ninja Academy.

Whoosh!

As she stepped into the courtyard, a slender figure darted to Hakken's side. Anko stared at him expressionlessly for a long moment, then sniffed the air, confirming one thing.

The little brother she had taken in as a child had been drinking again.

"You!"

Hands on her hips, Anko jabbed a finger at Hakken, brimming with anger as if ready to scold him.

"Shh. I just told someone today that no one would stop me from drinking."

Hakken spoke calmly, casting her a glance. Outwardly indifferent, his heart still felt warm. After all, Anko was, strictly speaking, his only family.

Being lectured by family... it should feel kind of nice, right?

Or so Hakken thought.

Unfortunately, he was mistaken.

Scatterbrained as ever, Anko wasn't upset about the drinking itself. Instead, she angrily pointed at the forehead protector on her brow, then shook the nearly empty gourd in his hand.

"We agreed to celebrate my graduation and drink together tonight, but you finished it all yourself!"

"Do you even care about me as your sister?"

"Who raised you from infancy, cleaning up after you every day?"

"Where's your conscience?!"

So… you're mad because I didn't bring you along to drink?

Hakken's mouth twitched.

And really… are you sure you're the one who raised me? Have you no shame?

As a Transmigrator, it wasn't as though he needed someone to do that for him. Even if others pressed him, he could never bring himself to admit it.

Too lazy to argue with Anko, he tossed her a fresh gourd of liquor and headed back to his room.

At that moment, as his fingers brushed the sword at his side, a transparent template appeared before his eyes.

Host: Hakken Yoru

World: Naruto

Unlocked Template – King of Normal Attacks: Zaraki Kenpachi

Unlock Progress: 2.8%

Template Progress 5%: Unlock first normal attack enhancement trait.

Template Progress 10%: Unlock next character template.

Normal Attack Points: 50. Can be used to purchase items from the system store or exchanged for template progress.

Daily Quest: Swing sword 1000 times. Reward: +0.1% template progress (Completed).

As a Transmigrator, of course he had his own cheat.

The God-tier King of Normal Attacks System was the very source of his power. It was this system that gave Hakken the confidence to tell Itachi he was destined to reach the pinnacle.

The King of Normal Attacks.

No fancy tricks.

Simple and brutal—just slash.

And Hakken was fortunate. The first ability he unlocked came from Zaraki Kenpachi, the renowned King of Normal Attacks in the Bleach world.

In Bleach, battles were fought with spiritual pressure, wielding Zanpakuto abilities to overwhelm opponents. But Zaraki Kenpachi was different. From beginning to end, he had only one move: the slash.

Even his Shikai and Bankai only served to amplify the power of that slash.

The true, absolute King of Normal Attacks.

That was the essence of the King of Normal Attacks System.

Daily missions might have looked simple, but given his young age, it had taken Hakken a long time to adapt to such intense training.

At first, he had been so exhausted he could barely move. Now, he only felt a lingering weariness.

In between, he had endured much—and grown even more.

Don't underestimate Zaraki Kenpachi's 2.8% power. He was a battle maniac famed across the Soul Society, and once he entered combat, the terrifying power he unleashed was nothing to scoff at.

Daily Quests would upgrade at certain milestones, though their effects were still unknown. As for emergency missions, he hadn't encountered one yet. According to the system, they rewarded Slash Points, and every 1000 points could be exchanged for 1% template progress or used to buy items from the system store's vast inventory.

For example, Hakken's Erguotou — a fiery liquor far stronger than sake — had come straight from the system store.

The shop contained everything imaginable, even the Rinnegan of this world—though its price was far beyond anything he could afford.

For now, the most straightforward way to grow stronger was by completing daily missions. And Hakken genuinely enjoyed the feeling of steady improvement that training brought each day.

This was a dangerous world.

No matter how peaceful Konoha seemed, one couldn't afford to forget. The shadows hidden beneath the sunlight were the most terrifying of all.

Shaking his head, Hakken collapsed into bed. Delivering thousands of slashes in a row was no small burden for a child barely four or five years old.

...

The next morning, a new day began.

Hakken Yoru opened his eyes and glanced helplessly at Anko, who had wrapped herself around him again.

How many years had it been?

She was used to this by now. Most likely, she had drunk too much the night before and wandered into the wrong room again.

"Mmm... Stinky little brother, come with me to see my Jōnin instructor."

Anko yawned as she felt herself being pushed aside.

"Your Jōnin instructor..."

"Orochimaru?!"
