Chapter 15 - Chapter 14 : Uchiha Mikoto was no exception

The Uchiha clan had always been renowned for producing strikingly beautiful men and women, and Uchiha Mikoto was no exception.

Though she was now in her thirties, time had left her largely untouched, adding only a layer of graceful maturity to her natural elegance.

To ensure that the secret of Uchiha Fugaku being under his control did not leak, Arata had no choice but to control Mikoto as well.

He gently lifted her from the tatami mat and used the Palm Technique with his right hand to rouse her from unconsciousness.

As Mikoto slowly opened her eyes, still dazed, her gaze locked directly onto Arata's Mangekyō Sharingan.

Before she could fully process the situation, Amenokami activated silently.

A subtle yet overwhelming force seeped into her consciousness, reshaping her thoughts and rewriting her will.

From that moment on, Mikoto would obey Arata's commands.

Uchiha Mikoto was now under his control.

Arata slowly deactivated his Mangekyō.

Mikoto's awareness cleared almost instantly. She sat up—and instead of screaming or resisting, she immediately knelt down, bowing deeply.

"I sincerely apologize, Arata-dono," she said, her voice trembling with unease.

"I acted impolitely earlier and caused you harm. Please forgive my disrespect."

Arata observed her bowed posture.

It was clear that without his explicit forgiveness, she would not dare lift her head.

A faint sense of satisfaction stirred within him.

This was the true power of Amenokami—a technique whose potential had finally been realized.

In the past, Shisui Uchiha's Amenokami had been immensely powerful, yet poorly applied—used once at the Five Kage Summit only to be exposed, or later as a contingency to free Itachi during Edo Tensei.

Its true value had never been fully exploited.

In a world where words could be deadlier than blades, Amenokami guaranteed loyalty and erased rebellion at its root.

Seeing Mikoto kneeling while Fugaku watched silently without intervening, Arata finally spoke.

"Stand up," he said calmly.

"I do not blame you. Different positions naturally lead to conflict."

"But from now on, you will work diligently for me. I forgive you this time."

Mikoto lifted her head, tears welling in her eyes before finally spilling over.

"Thank you, Arata-dono," she said earnestly.

"I will serve you with unwavering loyalty and carry out every task you command."

Even Arata....normally cold and calculating.....found it difficult to ignore the sight of Mikoto, delicate and tearful before him.

He quickly changed the subject.

"Where are Itachi and Sasuke?"

Now that Mikoto was under his control, Arata needed to ensure there were no lingering threats.

If Itachi noticed even the slightest anomaly, his intelligence alone could prove dangerous.

At the mention of her sons, Mikoto's expression softened with maternal concern.

"Itachi has been dispatched on a mission outside the village," she replied.

"Sasuke is resting in his room."

Relief washed over Arata.

As long as Itachi was away, there was no risk of him immediately sensing that something was wrong.

Sasuke, at his current age and level of ability, posed no threat to Arata's plans.

With all immediate obstacles neutralized, Arata prepared to hold a proper discussion with the clan head.

He gestured for Fugaku and Mikoto to sit, then spoke calmly.

"Fugaku-dono, do you understand why I used my ocular power to control you?"

Fugaku shook his head.

"Not entirely," he admitted.

"But I assume that for someone ambitious, it would make sense to use such power to control leaders or influential figures."

Arata shook his head, clarifying.

Though Fugaku now obeyed him, Arata wanted transparency.

"My pursuit has always been power itself.....methods to enhance my abilities," he said evenly.

"Not authority."

"I would never have risked controlling you and Mikoto unless it was absolutely necessary."

He pointed toward his eyes, his tone heavy with implication.

"These eyes see far more than you realize."

Fugaku, sharp-minded as ever, asked immediately,

"Do your eyes… see the future?"

Arata nodded.

"In fragments," he replied. "I can glimpse parts of what is yet to come."

He then recounted Shisui's fate—his death, and the eventual annihilation of the Uchiha clan.

Fugaku listened in stunned silence.

The sheer possibility of such a future left him shaken, unable to speak for a long time.

"…Have I been wrong all along?" he finally whispered.

"Should I not have tried to reconcile with the Third and Konoha?"

"Should I have taken the elders' path instead—escalating conflict to protect the Uchiha?"

For the first time, Fugaku's belief in peaceful integration wavered.

Arata shook his head.

"From the beginning, your premise was flawed," he said firmly.

"Do you know who truly holds power in Konoha?"

"Of course," Fugaku replied.

"Konoha has always been ruled by the Hokage lineage—the First, Second, and Third. The Uchiha have never held real authority."

"Exactly," Arata said.

"And who rules now? The Second Hokage's disciple—the Third—and Shimura Danzo."

"They inherit Tobirama's ideology. They fear us, isolate us, and suppress us."

"As long as they remain in power, the Uchiha will never rise."

Fugaku asked immediately,

"Then what should we do?"

"There are two paths," Arata explained.

"First, we abandon Konoha and establish our own village. The problem ends there."

"Second," he continued,

"we endure. We wait for my ocular powers to recover."

"Then we control Konoha's leadership—or those who influence them."

"Only then will Konoha obey us. No longer isolated…"

"…we become the ones in control."

With those words, Arata laid out a clear future for the Uchiha clan....

one built on patience, calculation, and absolute dominance.
