Chapter 52 - Chapter 52 : Proper Arrangements·

In front of someone you truly care about, it's impossible to stay completely calm.

When Itachi awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after Shisui's death, it already showed how important Shisui was to him.

After hugging Arata, Shisui walked to Itachi. Seeing the emotion in Itachi's eyes, he opened his arms again and hugged him tightly.

When things settled down, Shisui turned to Arata and asked, "How's the plan going? No problems, right?"

Hearing that they were about to talk about the plan, Itachi asked carefully, "Do you want me to step outside?"

Arata looked at Shisui's hopeful eyes, then at Itachi's unsure face, and said,

"I asked you to guard Shisui's body because I wanted to tell you about our plan.

But next time, don't point a kunai at me again."

Itachi was happy he could stay, but when Arata mentioned the kunai, he scratched his nose awkwardly and looked away.

Arata didn't tease him further. Instead, he began updating Shisui on the plan.

"The Third Hokage agreed to let the Uchiha clan move outside the village. The condition was that I join the Anbu.

I actually planned to kill Danzō during this time, but he used Izanagi to escape.

I didn't expect he had transplanted Sharingan eyes and even learned our clan's forbidden techniques.

Since the Third Hokage was there, I didn't push further to avoid trouble."

Shisui nodded in understanding.

Arata continued, "Even if we relocate, we don't yet have the resources to build our own academy.

So I made a deal ... Uchiha children can stay in the village to study, and their parents will remain to take care of them…"

Hearing that things went smoothly, Shisui finally relaxed.

He loved not only the Uchiha clan but also the village where he grew up.

If not for the growing conflict, he would never have agreed to leave.

Arata took a sip of water and smiled. "There was also an unexpected surprise.

Itachi awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after your death."

Shisui turned toward Itachi. He knew better than anyone how much pain it took to awaken the Mangekyō.

Just like Uchiha Obito, who wanted to create a world where Rin still lived, Itachi's awakening proved how deep his feelings for Shisui were.

Shisui smiled gently and said, "Itachi, thank you. And… I'm sorry."

The thanks were for Itachi's feelings, the apology for making him suffer.

Itachi shook his head slightly. "You don't have to apologize.

I'm just glad you're alive. And maybe this was a blessing in disguise .... I awakened my Mangekyō because of it."

Arata watched their exchange, then clapped his hands to get their attention.

"Alright, enough catching up. We still have work to do. You can talk later."

As the two looked over, Arata said, "Shisui, you can't go outside yet.

I brought you both some Ichiraku ramen .... eat it while it's still warm. After that, pack your things.

I've already found a safe place, and I'll take you there before sunrise."

Seeing their confused looks, Arata briefly explained about Uzumaki Island and his eye ability Takamagahara.

However, he didn't mention the space mark he used as his secret escape route.

Unless he completely trusted someone, he wouldn't share it with anyone.

After all, Obito gave one of his Sharingan to Kakashi, which later revealed his secret.

Otherwise, with Kamui, Obito could have escaped from anything unharmed.

Uchiha Itachi finally realized that the extra bowl of ramen Uchiha Arata had brought was for Shisui.

When Arata came back carrying two servings, Itachi had thought one was for himself and the other for Arata.

Shisui didn't hold back.

He called Itachi over, and together they began slurping noodles right inside the room that had been used as Shisui's memorial.

Luckily no outsiders were around, or they'd have been scared senseless seeing a "dead man" happily eating ramen.

Itachi let loose as well....after everything that had happened, he no longer cared about appearances.

It almost turned into a competition between the two of them over who could finish faster.

Unlike Arata, both Itachi and Shisui didn't have big appetites.

After eating their full-sized bowls of ramen, they were already stuffed. Once they were done, Arata didn't waste time.

He and Itachi helped Shisui pack up everything he needed to bring.

Then Arata stored the items in his space dimension, planning to return them to Shisui once he reached Uzumaki Island.

As a single man, Shisui didn't own much...just his personal belongings, some scrolls, books, and tools left by his elders.

It didn't take long to finish.

By the end, all Shisui carried was his usual mission gear; everything else was entrusted to Arata.

After all, this trip to Uzumaki Island was a mission in itself, and he'd retrieve his items once settled there.
