Arata sat calmly in the center of the growing vines, lifting his teacup again.

"No… no, that's impossible. Arata's lineage for three generations is pure Uchiha. Let me see further… four generations… five… six… Still nothing! Not a single Senju branch!"
Arata sighed helplessly.
"Great Elder, you don't need to check. I told you already, I'm pure Uchiha. Not a drop of Senju blood."
The elder ignored him completely.
"You awakened Wood Release. You expect me to believe you have no Senju blood?!"
He was practically pressing the scroll against his Sharingan like a blind old man.
Arata waited And waited.
He finished another cup of tea.
He even began considering whether he needed the bathroom soon.
Finally, after inspecting six generations of ancestors, the Great Elder collapsed onto his seat, exhausted.
He rubbed his temples and groaned:
"Alright… explain. How did you awaken Wood Release? I've checked six generations of your ancestors...everyone is pure Uchiha blood.
Any further and I'll end up reviewing half the clan.
Besides… even if your ancestors did mix with the Senju, Wood Release wouldn't stay strong enough after six generations to awaken naturally."

Realizing the elder wasn't joking, Arata no longer dared to tease him. The Great Elder treated him well.
If he actually beat Arata, Arata really wouldn't dare fight back.
So he began explaining honestly...though not completely honestly.
"Great Elder, you should know people once gave me the nickname Copy Eye.
Later, when I awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, one of my pupil techniques was also called 'Copy Eye.'
This ability allows me to copy certain Kekkei Genkai and secret arts.....though with limitations."
The Great Elder was shocked by the ability. It was undeniably powerful.
