Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: A feeling.

A single thought occupied Steven's mind.

Did I lose? He thought it with a noticeable sense of frustration. So many plans, so many hours of rigorous training... it hadn't been worth it.

He was in his cell, just waking up, tending to his wounds with his saliva. They weren't healing very well, but hey, something's better than nothing, right?

Steven looked toward a specific point; he heard singing, which he knew perfectly well.

"Sapphire," he murmured in a hoarse voice that slowly regained its calm tone.

Steven wondered what he could do now. He said it with frustration.

He thought for several seconds until he reached a conclusion.

I'll have to change the story a little.

He stood up now, more calmly, as he looked at the barrier and reached out with his hand.

"I hope it doesn't hurt," he said to himself as his hand made contact with the barrier.

A strange feeling washed over Steven as he watched the lines connecting his hand. It wasn't harmful, at least not to him, but it felt odd nonetheless.

This is perfect.

He slowly left the cell, scanning his surroundings with all his senses on high alert, as he walked toward the sound of Sapphire's voice.

I have to keep in mind that Jasper is probably out there somewhere, furious... and if he can come straight to my cell, I'll have to hurry.

Steven ran through the corridors as Sapphire's voice grew louder, but he also stopped in front of a window that looked out onto the blackness of the endless expanse.

Beautiful, he said to himself as he took in the sights of many places that, to him, seemed beautiful.

He shook his head, returning to his self-imposed mission.

I have to focus, he told himself as he continued running through the corridors with renewed determination.

She turned down a corridor and stopped dead in her tracks.

Jasper yelled, "Stop singing!"

She slammed her fist on the wall, right where Sapphire was standing, who fell obediently.

"Do you think I care about the mission right now, Peridot?"

She looked at the green gem standing in front of her with disdain.

"Gossip," Steven thought, trying to calm his nerves.

Jasper glared at Peridot.

"This mission has changed. Tell Yellow Diamond we found a rebel, and do it right. I don't want you doing it with your grubby robot hands; I want it in the control room, with video and everything. And if for some reason you didn't listen to her..."

She clasped her fingers together, a clear warning.

"You'll be in trouble."

Peridot swallowed hard and nodded obediently.

"Pathetic," Jasper said disdainfully as she turned and walked off in an unspecified direction.

"An easy mission," they said. "Big rewards," they told me. "But no... I got stuck with an incompetent Jasper."

He scratched his hair with his fingers and walked toward the cabin, but without hurrying. He had a long way to go.

Steven calmly emerged from his hiding place and looked in the direction the two gems had gone. He heard their footsteps fading into the distance and felt a wave of relief.

"Perfect, since they're not here."

He glanced at Sapphire, who was watching him with interest.

"Looks like you need some help, little one. Want me to get you out?"

Steven pretended not to know her to avoid trouble.

Sapphire observed him for several seconds before saying:

You're wise, Steven Universe. If you can get me out of here, I'll owe you a huge favor.

"Anything for a gem friend," Steven replied, placing his hand on the barrier, creating a space for Sapphire to pass through.

"Thank you so much, Steven."

"You're welcome. Is there anyone around here you'd like to help? Take advantage of it, these ships can't hold me."

Sapphire nodded.

"Give me your hand," she said, and without hesitation, I gave her mine.

We both quickly ran in a specific direction. Steven kept up calmly, but in his mind, he was already preparing his plan C. If A and B hadn't worked, he'd have to resort to force.

Sapphire arrived at a cell where there was a red gem, who, by the way, was curled up in a ball.

"How cute," I said without thinking, which made the red gem quickly notice me.

"Huh?" Ruby said, confused, but ignored Steven when she saw her beloved by his side.

"Sapphire," she said with a joy that even made Steven smile, though that smile vanished immediately when Ruby clumsily ran toward the barrier, causing both Sapphire and me to break out in a sweat.

"Ow!" she exclaimed as her hand pixelated. "How do I get out?" she said in a panic, looking around frantically. Steven simply extended his hand and opened a gap in the barrier.

Ruby wasted no time and with a burst of speed shot out toward Sapphire, who welcomed her with open arms.

"Were you hurt? Are you okay?" Ruby asked.

"I'm fine, who cares?" Sapphire replied.

"I care," Ruby said, making Sapphire look her in the eyes. Then, with a kiss, they began to dance in such harmony that Steven was mesmerized by their love.

This fusion dance was different; it wasn't like what he'd been taught before. It was even poetic, something indescribable, but the emotion it conveyed was palpable as a light enveloped them both and loud laughter echoed throughout the ship.

"Steven, thank you!!!"

Steven glared at Garnet, three veins bulging with anger. She noticed his sudden irritability.

"What's wrong?" she asked, genuinely confused, but a noise froze her in place.

"Where are they?!" roared a furious voice that echoed throughout the ship.

"That's what he said curtly. I want you to go with the others, and I won't take no for an answer."

"Steven, you can't go up against her. If you couldn't before, why do you think you can win now?" Garnet said, worried.

"Steven, you can't go up against her. If you couldn't before, why do you think you can win now?" Steven stared at her silently, which made the fusion break out in a cold sweat.

"Get all the gems out of here, including Lapis Lazuli. If you don't, I'll be furious with you," he said with a mischievous grin.

Garnet looked at him seriously.

"I have faith in you, my little one, but I wouldn't forgive myself if anything happened to you."

Steven raised his hand to stop her.

"Relax, Garnet. Don't you remember? Healing saliva. As long as I have the chance to take even a single drop, I can recover. So go, before I get there and we can't escape."

Garnet remained silent as she adjusted her glasses so she could see the future. After a few seconds, she sighed. "I hope I don't regret this. Take care, Steven."

"I will," Steven said with a confident smile.

And with that, Garnet quickly ran toward the other gems' cells.

Steven looked up and quickly ran toward the sounds Jasper was making.

He reached a room that seemed to be where the original Garnet had fought, and with a sigh, he brought his emotions under control, letting his fury take over to gain brute strength and speed. It was something he had discovered a year ago, although it had a side effect: it drained Steven considerably.

Out of nowhere, a thud was heard, coming from Jasper, who was glaring at him with barely contained fury.

"Rose Quartz, do you even dare to leave your prison?" she snorted, looking him straight in the eye.

"You have a serious problem with my mother," Steven said, touching his neck. "You know, you should take a vacation to forget about her. You're starting to like her."

Jasper gritted his teeth even more furiously and pulled out a Gem Destabilizer, a sadistic grin spreading across his face.

"Do you know what this device does? It's the same one I used to destabilize your friend. HAHAHA! You're weak, Rose. Prepare to be judged by the Diamonds."

Steven smiled as he watched her.

"Oh, come on, you think I don't have any new tricks up my sleeve? A destabilizer won't do anything to me, not even tickle. So come on, Jasper, let's see which gem is the toughest."

Face to face, a battle for the fate of the Gems and possibly the Earth.

The first, a Gem who fought with an iron fist in the war and continued conquering planets in the name of her late Diamond. A Gem created by perfection itself, the strongest of her kind.

Against the half-human, half-Gem boy, the first of his kind and, therefore, the most powerful. The battle that would decide if the fruits of his training were worth it.

The strongest Gem in history vs. the most powerful hybrid of today.

"Let this shit begin," Steven said with a crazed grin, his emotions at their peak, ready to unleash his full potential.

Jasper smiled with the same craze and ran toward him.

A clash of fists echoed throughout the ship as two beasts gave their all for their visions of the world.

Steven felt a tremendous pain in his hand, but he quickly devised a strategy. She summoned bubbles like gloves and, with even more fury, lashed out at Jasper.

"Pathetic," Jasper said as she summoned her helmet and threw punches and headbutts.

Right, left, down, jump, left, down, right, up... these were Steven's thoughts as he slowly adapted to Jasper's fighting style.

"Is she adapting?" Jasper thought just as Steven blocked a punch and landed a blow to her stomach, sending her flying against the wall.

"What's going on? Why is she hitting harder now?"

"Am I getting weak? No! Rose is adapting to the fight, and with it, her strength is increasing."

"Is she like me? A perfect gem, but one that wasn't seen the same way by my Diamond?"

Thoughts like these swirled in Jasper's head as she stood up and looked seriously at Steven, who was healing himself with his saliva to prolong his stamina.

"Is she like me?" "What's wrong?" Steven asked, noticing Jasper's curious gaze. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Jasper was silent for a few seconds, then asked,

"Rose, are you like me?"

Steven looked at her, confused.

Jasper noticed his confusion and, with an annoyed expression, continued,

"Are you perfect? Just like me, a gem who was born without any imperfections? Were you envious of me, since you were also born perfect? And that's why...?"

She clenched her fists.

"And that's why you shattered our Diamond?!"

Steven stared at her silently, while Jasper glared at him furiously after that last comment.

"You know, Jasper," Steven said, looking at her intently,

"I didn't destroy our Diamond. Someone took my form. That's all I can tell you."

Jasper stared at him in shock.

"You're lying!" she shouted angrily, charging at Steven.

"I'm lying!" He quickly summoned his bubble and, with Jasper's impact, they both traveled through several floors until they reached the core.

They exchanged blows. Suddenly, Jasper landed a punch that landed squarely on Steven's stomach, causing him to spit up blood. But he smeared the blood on his hand to heal it. With that same hand, he grabbed Jasper's face, who was surprised by the grip, and with a series of punches, he repeatedly slammed it into the ground.

Jasper grabbed Steven's hand and, with superhuman strength, threw him against a wall. Steven's shield lay on the ground, but it didn't disappear.

I only have one chance.

Jasper charged toward Steven, who, taking advantage of the wall, began to run at such a speed that he could climb it.

Don't run away, Rose.

They both ran along the walls.

Steven quickly pulled his shield up, striking Jasper in the back of the neck, which threw her off balance. Using the momentum, Steven delivered a knee strike as hard as he could, causing her to spit out a mouthful of saliva.

They would both step back and look at each other, sweat beading on their foreheads.

Perspective shift

Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst saw their leader standing before them.

Garnet: There's no time to lose.

She would break open the cages and say: Steven isn't buying any time.

Pearl: What do you mean, Garnet?

Amethyst: Don't tell me he's facing that gem.

Garnet nodded.

Pearl would panic and glare at Garnet with fury and fear.

Pearl: Why did you let him?! Do you think a human who's barely lived for a little over fourteen years can fight a gem who's lived for millennia and is perfect in every way?!

Garnet would look at her with a seriousness never seen before, silencing Pearl.

It's the best future, isn't it? Pearl said sadly.

Garnet: Unfortunately, yes, and if we want Steven to reach that future, we have to bring this ship down before they send the message to Homeworld. So, Gems, get Lapis out and run to the cockpit.

"Understood," they both said at the same time, running off in different directions. One went for Lapis. Garnet gave clear orders: it was one way or another.

Garnet quickly ran after Pearl, who was heading for the cockpit.

Pearl looked at Garnet with frustration and had a question.

Pearl: Do you think Steven is okay?

Garnet remained silent and simply nodded.

Pearl became serious. "Then let's go get Peridot."

Peridot was sitting quietly in the cockpit on her tablet, but she heard a noise and thought it was Jasper making another circuit of the ship.

Peridot: Next time I'm ordering blondes, they're more obedient, unlike this Jasper — she muttered under her breath while looking at her Cluster mission.

Peridot wouldn't leave the planet's orbit for one reason: she didn't want to return. She knew that if she came back without completing her mission, she would be punished, although seeing that they were carrying the gem Rose Quartz, perhaps that punishment would be a reward.

These doubts doomed the gem, who didn't have time to react when a gauntlet twice her size struck her in the face, knocking her unconscious.

Pearl: How rude — she said, looking at Garnet. — There's no time, go get the ship's controls and try to return to Earth.

Of course, but an earthquake almost made them fall.

Pearl: What's happening?! — she said in a panic.

It's Steven — Garnet said seriously, looking at a specific point. Pearl, realizing they didn't have much time, ran to the ship's controls. Reaching in quickly, her mind was flooded with information, enabling the ship to turn and return to Earth.

Perspective Shift

Amethyst was running swiftly through the corridors, searching for someone specific.

Amethyst: Why did I have to look for her?!

She remembered how she'd messed up that mission and, with a sigh, pressed on until she found the gem.

Amethyst: Lapis Lazuli!

The gem simply glanced at her and looked back at her knees, curled up in a corner.

Amethyst: Come on, girl, we don't have time, we have to...

She didn't finish, as Lapis interrupted her.

Lapis Lazuli: Why are you still fighting? There's nothing of value left on that planet. You have no one. If I remember correctly, the Diamonds' light shattered many, if not all, of the gems, didn't it?

Lapis looked at Amethyst.

Lapis: You're an Amethyst. Why are you fighting? Why are you defending yourself? They have a Jasper and a Peridot, plus the entire Homeworld, with their sights set on this stupid planet.

Lapis tried to continue her rant, but Amethyst interrupted her.

Amethyst: Oh, come on, girl, don't get so down about it—she gestured with her hand—You know, maybe you don't have to fight, but I do have... food, most of all. You've never had a good pizza.

Lapis Lazuli: Pizza?

Amethyst: That doesn't matter—she gestured—I'll be brief: you wouldn't want your savior to make a sacrifice in vain, would you?

Lapis Lazuli looked up so fast that Amethyst thought her neck would snap.

Lapis Lazuli: Is Steven okay? Is he still alive? Please tell me he's okay.

Amethyst noticed how the gem panicked at the mere mention of Steven's name and quickly came up with a plan.

I hope you'll forgive me, she thought to Steven.

Amethyst: Well, he's giving his life to get you out of here. If you don't want him to sacrifice himself for nothing, you'd better follow us.

Lapis Lazuli looked at Amethyst in a panic.

Lapis Lazuli: Fight Jasper?!

Before Amethyst could answer, a tremendous tremor shook the entire ship.

It seems they're going down now, Amethyst said as the tremors grew stronger with each passing second.

Amethyst: If you don't want the person who specifically told us to save you before going into battle to sacrifice themselves in vain, follow me.

She would break one side of the ship, causing the light mesh to disappear.

Amethyst: Come on, girl, we don't have time. Do it for Steven. Make him proud.

Lapis hesitated for a few seconds, but still took her hand.

Come on, girl, behind me—Amethyst said as they both ran toward the cockpit.

I hope you're okay, Steven, they both thought worriedly.

Perspective change

Steven was in the core with Jasper. Both were badly beaten, but Steven even more so. However, he was healing himself quickly with his saliva.

Jasper spat some saliva onto the floor and cracked his neck.

Jasper: You didn't show that power before, Rose. Why?

Steven would have a mischievous smile, one that held a hint of pain, but he kept it hidden.

Steven: You didn't give me a chance to think. You're a coward, attacking at the worst possible moment.

Jasper would get so angry that she tried to turn away, but Steven wouldn't let her.

Steven: Hey, Jasper, I have a question—he said as he walked closer to her.

Jasper would look at him with a mixture of curiosity and anger.

Can you shapeshift?

Jasper: ...?

Jasper would be confused, but she would hear something she didn't understand, though she would sense immense danger.

Domain Expansion, Royal Package.

A large bubble would envelop both gems, who were on opposite sides.

Jasper: And this pathetic attempt?—she said with disdain—Do you think a bubble can contain me?

Steven would just give a pained smile.

"This is going to hurt tomorrow," he said as his outstretched arms came together, quickly shrinking the bubble so small that barely a tennis ball could fit inside.

"Damn it!" Jasper's voice rang out, quickly shrinking to fit the cramped space. Steven did the same, rapidly shrinking to resist the pressure, turning the situation into a contest of who could stay in their smallest form the longest.

"Bastard!" Jasper said, throwing a weak punch. But that was enough to burst the bubble.

They both flew off in opposite directions. Jasper went straight for the ship's power source, and Steven crashed into a column.

"Plan failed successfully," Steven said with a bloody grin.

Explanation

You might be wondering how Steven could do that if it was never shown in the original series. Well, here's my answer and a guess.

First reason: Ever since the "cat paws" episode, it's been clear that Steven has better control over his shapeshifting abilities, and unfortunately, due to the trauma of becoming a cat, he couldn't do it again.

Second reason: Steven has always been able to shapeshift, shrinking or growing. These were the principles I based that attack on: Domain Expansion. Why did I call it that? Because it sounds cooler. Obviously, it doesn't have what a guaranteed hit should have, as you could see, plus it was very fragile.

Steven in the series always showed terrifying strain when shapeshifting, and well, shrinking to such a small form makes his gem work at its maximum capacity, especially considering that his body is organic and not made of light like the Gems'. What I mean is that Steven can only use that attack once or twice a day if he doesn't want to collapse to the ground, unable to move.

And the question many will ask: how did both of their gems reach that point? Whenever you have that doubt, remember: a sorcerer did it. Or take it as meaning that in that world, gems can grow or shrink as needed. That was my information. If you have more questions, you can ask them in the comments.

End of explanation

Steven kept watching Jasper scream in pain from the ship's core, and suddenly a thunderous sound was heard.

Ouch, I mean...

KABOOM!

Everyone on the ship felt it begin to plummet rapidly toward Earth.

"Damn," Steven said as he struggled to his feet, looking at Jasper, who was also struggling to get up.

They stared at each other, but Jasper started laughing maniacally.

Steven: "Huh? Did that hit you and go crazy or what?" he said as he spat blood into his hand, mixing it with saliva, and began rubbing it on his skin to recover a little physically.

Jasper: Not at all —she said, placing a trembling foot on the ground—. This fight was one of the best I've had in my millennia of existence. I could thank you, but you know I won't, Rose Quartz. You're the first to push me to these limits, but…

Jasper slammed her foot on the ground, causing a green bubble to envelop her.

Steven's eyes widened in panic. According to his knowledge, that type of ship should only be in the cockpit.

Steven: SHIT!

He quickly summoned his shield, and before the ship could hit the planet, it hurled it forward, diverting its fall to an unknown location.

Steven: Damn it! —he said, running with difficulty toward the cockpit—.

The girls were panicking, not knowing what was happening. Suddenly, the ship began to fall.

Amethyst: What do we do?! If we fall with this thing, we'll die! —she said, filled with panic—.

Pearl: I don't know, there are supposed to be escape booths, but I can't find them.

Garnet: Find them quickly, we don't know if Steven needs one.

Lapis was huddled in a corner against the wall, praying that Steven was okay.

Peridot, who had just gotten up, noticed she was tied up with a purple ribbon courtesy of Amethyst. She muttered a "damn it" and watched as the Gems were distracted by the booth.

I have to take advantage of this. If I stay here, I'll die and I won't be able to complete my mission, she told herself as she moved carefully so the Gems wouldn't notice her.

Managing to position herself at a key spot, she bumped her head, alarming the girls.

Pearl: What is she doing?

Amethyst: Is she crazy?

Garnet: She's doing something important, stop her!

Lapis Lazuli looked up and watched, terrified, as Peridot was engulfed in a green bubble, hurtling towards Earth along with another green sphere hurtling down at high speed.

Lapis Lazuli: What? —she said, completely confused, seeing one ship heading towards a specific point while another plummeted into the sea—.

But a furious shout snapped her out of her thoughts.

Garnet: They escaped! —she exclaimed in a panic as she ran towards Steven—.

The others followed. Amethyst carried Lapis Lazuli like a sack of potatoes, and she didn't resist.

Garnet: Steven! Where are you?

Pearl: My baby! Are you okay?

Amethyst: Come on, dude, this isn't funny, come out now!

The girls shouted at the top of their lungs until they saw a figure.

Steven! —they exclaimed excitedly, but as they approached, they froze. Lapis, who had her back turned, turned around when she noticed the sudden silence and froze as well.

Steven was covered in blood. His clothes were a mess, and some of his hair was even singed. But what worried the girls most was the smile on his face.

Steven: "Girls, you're okay! That's good."

He took a few steps toward them, who could only stare in horror at the state of their practically son.

Steven turned toward the window, and in a fit of panic, ran toward the Gems, who were still processing his bloody image.

Steven: "Bubble, damn it!" he yelled so loudly it snapped them out of their shock.

"Steven, you're b—!"

They couldn't finish the sentence, because at the same time a bubble enveloped the five of them, the ship crashed. With a sound that echoed for miles around Beach City, the ship exploded into thousands of pieces.

Perspective Shift

Greg was in his truck, far from Beach City. But something made him break out in a cold sweat: the ship, which had risen an hour ago at most, was now plummeting down.

A roar pulled him from his thoughts. It was Leon, who positioned himself on top of the truck, staring intently at the ship falling straight toward the beach.

"ROAARRR!" Leon's roar echoed all around.

Greg, snapping out of his worry, understood what Leon was trying to tell him.

"Understood," he said as he sped off toward Beach City.

A Change of Perspective

"How strange," Connie said. She didn't have her phone, but she'd had a feeling something was wrong that day. That suspicion was confirmed when she saw a missed call from Steven.

"What could be wrong with Steven?" Connie asked, holding the phone to her ear.

With each passing second, her expression grew more confused. Dangerous mission? More dangerous than a robot from another planet? What could possibly be more dangerous than a robot from another... planet...?

"Damn!" she exclaimed, startling her mother, who was standing beside her.

"What's wrong?" her mother asked, puzzled.

"Nothing, nothing. Sorry, it was just some news that hit me like a ton of bricks. That's all. Sorry for my language."

Her mother just glanced at her and went back to her notes.

Connie sighed with relief.

"I hope Steven's okay... Steven..."

She dialed his number, but he didn't answer. She left a voicemail:

Steven, if you hear this, tell me what's wrong. I'm worried about you. Call me, okay?

She hung up.

Connie stared at her phone for several seconds, but a voice pulled her from her thoughts.

"Are you done?" It was her mother, looking at her with a puzzled expression.

"Sorry," Connie said, returning to her homework, which was a lot for a girl her age.

"Take care, Steven," was her last thought.

A change of perspective

The beach was in ruins. Pieces of metal and green fragments were scattered across the sand. Among the debris, something began to move slowly. It was the Gems, staring toward the center of the disaster. There, in the middle of it all, was Steven, bleeding from his eyes and ears.

Pearl, seeing him, rushed to him and hugged him gently, resting his head in her lap as tears welled in her eyes.

Amethyst screamed in despair that she couldn't have survived the explosion of that damn ship. Garnet leaned over him, trying to remain calm as she spoke firmly. She begged him to hold on, to tell her how many fingers he had in front of his face, but Steven could barely keep up with her gaze.

Lapis Lazuli watched the scene with her hands over her mouth, terrified by the state of the boy who had risked everything to save them. The same phrase kept repeating in her mind: if only he had helped, if only he had done something more.

Suddenly, a faint sound was heard. Steven coughed with difficulty.

With an almost superhuman effort, he turned his head and looked at Lapis. She moved closer quickly, hoping to hear something important.

Steven could barely manage to say her name, and when Lapis responded with concern, he only asked weakly how the motorcycle was.

They all fell silent. Lapis looked at him blankly, while the others understood perfectly that this was his way of downplaying the situation.

Pearl smiled through tears, kissed his forehead, and whispered that he had worried her so much. She wasn't the only one crying; Amethyst and Garnet were too, though they tried to hide it. Only Lapis didn't shed a tear, because she still didn't understand the joke about the motorcycle.

Steven sighed wearily, murmured that he was going to take a nap, and asked that, please, no one get killed. He then fell unconscious.

Pearl held him in her arms, tenderly stroking his hair. Amethyst slumped down beside her, trying to process everything that had happened. Garnet, meanwhile, stared at a point on the beach, as if waiting for something.

Then they heard the sound of an engine rapidly approaching. A vehicle screeched to a halt, and Lion and Greg got out.

Greg barely managed to ask what had happened, but upon seeing Steven, he fainted and collapsed to the ground.

Lapsy, who was nearby, gave him a light kick to check if he was still alive and asked with genuine curiosity if he was alright. Amethyst gently pushed her aside and assured her she would take care of him, hoisting him onto her shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Lion jumped to the ground and went to Steven. The Gems stepped aside; they knew he was very close to Rose and that, in a way, he also cared about Steven. However, what he did next left them speechless: he lifted Steven onto his back and then looked at them, making a clear gesture with his trunk for them to climb on as well.

Amethyst hesitated for a few seconds, but Pearl remembered that Lion belonged to Rose and concluded that he must have a specific destiny. Garnet nodded, saying that she wouldn't be surprised.

They climbed on one by one: Garnet first, then Amethyst with Greg still unconscious. Garnet looked at Lapis and asked if she was coming. Somewhat unsure, she replied hesitantly, wondering if she really could. Garnet smiled calmly and assured her that she could, that if Steven had asked to save her, it was because he trusted her.

Lapis climbed on timidly and held onto Pearl's waist, who stiffened at the contact but said nothing. Garnet asked if Lion could handle them all, and the majestic feline nodded with his trunk before roaring loudly.

A pink portal opened before them, and in a brilliant flash, the six of them disappeared inside.

Where would Leon lead them? What fate awaited them on the other side of the portal? You'll have to wait until the next chapter to find out.

End of Chapter 32.

Amazing chapter, wasn't it? Well, I certainly loved writing it. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. God bless you... and for the atheists, well, good afternoon.
