Chapter 132 - Chapter 131 - The Strongest Emperor

Sea Circle Calendar Year 1518

Four years had passed since the smoke of Gyoncorde Plaza stained the waters…

Four years since Fisher Tiger nearly bled out in Ada's arms…

Four years since human and fishman blood mixed for the first time in history.

In those four years, tides of change swept the world like a gathering storm.

The seas grew harsher.

Kingdoms rose and fell.

Pirates, kings, and Marines clashed in shadows and headlines alike.

And among them all—

Nyx D. Ada's shadow stretched farther

deeper

and heavier

than any living Emperor.

Her fleet had transformed into a force the world struggled to comprehend.

THE NYX GRAND FLEET

1st Division — The Sun Pirates

Captain: Fisher Tiger

A liberated army of fishmen and mermen who wore Ada's crescent proudly.

2nd Division — The Sky Pirates

Captain: Enel the Lightning God

A lightning empire of Skypieans, Birkians, and Shandians united under Ada's flag.

3rd Division — The Gran Tesoro

Captain: Gild Tesoro

A golden mobile capital, a floating city of wealth and vice.

Three fleets.

Three captains.

Three overwhelming forces.

The world named them.

THE THREE CALAMITIES OF THE NYX FLEET.

And above them all—

Nyx D. Ada, the Strongest Emperor of the Sea.

A title the world had whispered for years.

Now spoken openly.

——————-

Marineford

The air inside the briefing hall was tense enough to slice with a blade.

Fleet Admiral Sengoku stood at the head of the long table, his expression sour as the Vice Admirals, Admirals, and veterans gathered. Walls were lined with Den Den Mushi, transmitting real-time information from across the seas.

Sengoku looked anything but calm.

On the table lay three newspapers.

The first showed a red-haired man smiling with a tankard raised high.

"RED-HAIRED SHANKS DECLARED THE FIFTH EMPEROR OF THE SEA!"

The second.

"NYX PIRATES FORM A GRAND FLEET — THREE DIVISIONS, THREE CALAMITIES."

The third.

"TESORO UNVEILS THE GOLDEN CITY SHIP — THE GRAN TESORO."

Aokiji sat slouched in his chair, arms crossed, bored but listening.

Kizaru leaned back with a lazy smile.

Akainu's glare could melt steel.

Tsuru quietly analyzed everything.

Garp munched senbei loudly, ignoring the tension.

Sengoku slammed his palm on the table, rattling documents.

"First Shanks. Now Ada's fleet. We cannot afford two rising Emperors. The balance is already cracking!"

Sengoku held up the first paper.

"Morgans has been pushing this title for years. With Shanks' alliances growing, his influence over the New World is now solid enough to qualify."

Kizaru hummed. "Oooh~h, quite flashy news… Morgans does love his dramatic headlines."

Aokiji sighed. "Well… Shanks isn't the worst one to hold that title. Better him than someone crueler."

Akainu growled. "An Emperor is an Emperor. Criminal scum, all of them."

Garp grinned. "At least that brat is a decent guy. I like him better than most pirates, actually."

"GARP!!"

He shrugged and ate another cracker.

Kizaru waved a hand lazily.

"Oooh~h, but making him the fifth Emperor… That's quite a bold move by Morgans. He loves stirring up trouble."

Sengoku rubbed the bridge of his nose. "And speaking of trouble—"

He lifted the second newspaper.

The headline stretched across the page in bold ink.

"NYX PIRATES EXPAND. THREE FLEETS, THREE CAPTAINS, THREE CALAMITIES."

A large diagram showed the structure of Ada's newly formed fleet.

A CP0 agent stepped forward, voice clipped and cold.

"Four years ago, the Nyx Pirates were dangerous. Now they are catastrophic."

He pointed to each division.

First Division — The Sun Pirates

Captain: Fisher Tiger

A liberated army, strengthened and unified under Ada's banner.

Second Division — The Sky Pirates

Captain: Enel the Lightning God

An airborne lightning army… the first of its kind in history.

Third Division — The Gran Tesoro

Captain: Gild Tesoro

The world's wealthiest pirate with a golden fortress ship. Economic superweapon. Tesoro controls 20% of the world's underground currency.

Tsuru exhaled. "Three divisions, each stronger than most independent crews. Together, they are equivalent to a second Yonko-level military."

Aokiji nodded slowly.

"Ada's influence is… becoming something else."

Akainu slammed his fist onto the table.

"She's been an Emperor for years. Now she wants a damn navy?!"

Akainu then slashed a hand across the air. "This woman is building an army. A damn navy! She wants to rival us!"

Kizaru tilted his sunglasses. "Ooh, quite frightening~. She really is playing at world domination."

Aokiji drawled lazily. "Well, Akainu, you did say she'd be trouble someday…"

"Don't start with me."

Garp snorted. "She protects civilians. Frees slaves. Doesn't cause chaos without reason. Better than the Celestial Dragons."

"GARP!! SIT DOWN!"

He was already sitting down.

Sengoku tapped the table.

"She has territory. Allies. Fleets. Multiple island loyalties. And now—"

He lifted the final paper.

"The Golden City. The New Floating Capital of Crime."

Akainu snarled. "That gold bastard Tesoro is a menace. And now he's part of Ada's fleet?"

"That Gran Tesoro," Tsuru said softly. "He worships Ada's Flag."

Aokiji closed his eyes. "Ada's becoming more than an Emperor. More… organized."

Kizaru hummed.

"Perhaps the people have begun calling her something new~?"

Vice Admiral Brannew smiled solemnly, his voice slightly trembling . "Oh yes. They have."

He slammed down a fresh print.

"THE STRONGEST EMPEROR. NYX D. ADA"

The entire room stiffened.

Even Garp stopped chewing.

Akainu's eyes widened with fury. "Strongest… Emperor?"

Vice Admiral Brannew then added. "The world acknowledges her strength. Her influence. Her victories. She has surpassed the other Emperors in reach."

Aokiji leaned back, sighing. "Man… that's cold news to wake up to."

Akainu slammed a fist onto the table. "Strengthening her fleet, making divisions, expanding territory… The woman is a plague."

Kizaru tilted his sunglasses. "Ooh, so scary~. Strongest Emeperor now? That's quite the branding."

Vice Admiral Tsuru folded her hands. "It was only a matter of time. Her alliances are strategic. Fishman Island. The sky people. The underworld through Tesoro. She's building a nation beneath the sea."

Sengoku sank into his chair, defeated.

"Nyx D. Ada… might become the strongest pirate in history."

Sengoku gritted his teeth. "Even so, the timing couldn't be worse. That bastard — Red-Haired Shanks."

Kizaru whistled. "The boy grew fast. Roger's influence runs deep."

Akainu growled. "Roger's ghost needs to be erased."

"Relax," Garp said, sticking a finger in his ear. "Ada's a pain, yeah, but she's got her own code. If she wanted Marineford gone, she would've flattened us by now."

Sengoku massaged his temples. "That doesn't comfort me."

Garp grinned widely. "Besides—"

Crunch.

"—if she's the strongest Emperor, that makes things simple."

"How," Akainu hissed, "is THAT simple?"

Garp smirked. "Simple. If anyone's gonna clean up the other Emperors, it'd be her."

Silence.

Sengoku choked. "GARP!"

"What? It's true."

Tsuru sighed long and deep. "Only you would say something that reckless with a straight face."

But even she couldn't deny it.

Ada was the most unpredictable of the Five Emperors — yet also the most controlled. She waged no meaningless wars. She took no unnecessary territories. Her wrath was never random.

And that made her far more dangerous.

Sengoku placed the papers down.

"Shanks rises. Kaido and Linlin tighten their grip. Whitebeard claiming more territory. Ada expands. The seas are becoming unstable."

Akainu's eyes narrowed. "The strongest Emperor must be brought under control."

Kizaru hummed. "Ooh, that'll be tough."

Aokiji yawned. "Good luck with that."

Garp reached into his bag for another senbei.

Then laughed again.

"BWAHAHAHAHA! The future's gonna be turbulent."

And indeed—

It already was.

—————————-

New World

The sea glittered like liquid sapphire beneath the sun.

On the deck of the Oro Jackson, Ada sat reading the very newspaper that shook Marineford. Her eyes moved calmly across the page — unreadable as always.

Around her, the remaining core crew reacted in their own chaotic ways.

Perona floated upside down, eyes wide. "EH?! SHANKS IS AN EMPEROR NOW?!"

Bullet snorted. "Tch. Took him long enough."

Hiyori smiled softly. "It suits him."

Okiku nodded. "He is strong and kind. The world sees it now."

Lilith was flipping through the article with scientific fascination. "The Marines officially labeled our fleet structure… interesting. 'Calamities' has a nice ring to it."

Ada turned the page. She could feel Mihawk standing behind her, arms folded, looking at the same headline.

"Red-Hair… an Emperor." Mihawk exhaled. "Well earned."

Even for Mihawk, that was unusually high praise.

Perona flailed. "Wait—wait—Ada! It says YOU are considered the strongest Emperor now!"

Lilith adjusted her glasses. "Technically, it says her fleet is the most stable and expansive."

Bullet barked a laugh. "Strongest Emperor. Damn right."

Ada finally spoke.

"…Shanks earned his title."

Her voice was soft — but warm in a way that made the crew look up.

"He walks the sea with conviction. The title suits him."

Perona blinked. "…You really like him, huh?"

Ada didn't answer.

But her small smile said enough.

Mihawk smirked slightly. "He'll be insufferably pleased when he sees this."

Ada rolled the newspaper shut. "Good. Let him brag."

The crew burst into laughter.

Just then—

pero…pero…. pero!

A Den Den Mushi rang on the deck.

Lilith picked it up. "This is the Oro Jackson. Lilith speaking."

An excited voice crackled through.

"Ada! It's Tiger!"

Ada tilted her head. "Tiger? Report."

"We've secured territory in the western Fishman routes!" Tiger sounded thrilled. "Jinbe says things are stabilizing. The Sun Pirates are growing strong."

Another voice popped in — louder.

"YO CAPTAIN! TESORO HERE!"

The golden mogul's voice was smug as always.

"The Gran Tesoro is fully operational! Wealth is pouring in! Ada, you demon of a captain, we made more money in one month than a kingdom makes in a year!"

A zap of static burst as a third voice cut in.

"Oi—Ada!! This is Enel! My Sky Pirates are unmatched! Praise me!"

Lilith pinched the bridge of her nose. "He hacked the frequency again…"

Perona clutched her head. "Why do we let him have access to ANYTHING?!"

Ada exhaled.

A very small, almost invisible sigh —

but undeniably a fond one.

Her fleet was chaotic.

Wild.

Loud.

But loyal beyond measure.

Bullet leaned on the railing. "So. What now, Ada?"

Ada looked toward the horizon — eyes sharp, intent, knowing.

"We grow stronger."

Mihawk's gaze flicked toward her. "For a reason?"

Ada was silent for a long moment.

Then—

"A storm is coming," she said quietly. "The biggest one yet."

Perona shivered. "You can feel it?"

Ada nodded once.

The sea breeze blew through her black hair as she watched the sky.

"Shanks rises. The Warlords moving. Kaido stirs. Big Mom grows hungry. And the Marines…"

Her voice dropped lower.

"They're preparing for a war they don't understand."

The crew straightened.

Something was shifting.

Something vast.

Ada's eyes narrowed slightly.

"We stay ahead of it. Always."

Bullet cracked his knuckles. "Then let's sharpen ourselves."

Mihawk's lips curled faintly. "And watch the world struggle to keep up."

Perona pumped her fists. "I'll make new ghosts!"

Hiyori smiled. "We'll be ready, Captain."

Okiku bowed. "Always behind you."

Lilith lifted her tools. "I'll upgrade everything."

Ada closed her eyes briefly.

"…Good."

She looked forward.

Toward an unseen horizon.

Toward a future only she seemed able to sense.

And quietly—

Almost too quietly—

She whispered.

"Luffy… don't fall behind."
