Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 — Waves of the Multiverse

The world was broken.

A universe on the edge of collapse stretched endlessly, skies torn into jagged streaks of violet and black.

No sun. No wind. No life.

Only silence… and him.

A lone figure staggered across the shattered ground.

Blood ran down his body, soaking his torn coat.

Every step was agony, each movement a reminder: he had survived the deadly waves— but not without scars. Sharp pain radiated from wounds that refused to fully heal.

He pressed a hand to his shoulder, fingers trembling.

A faint glow seeped through his skin. Slowly. Painfully.

The flesh knitted together, but not completely.

Every step reminded him of the cost — he had barely survived.

Yet he kept walking.

No hesitation.

Only the certainty of his mission.

Scene Cut — Back to Kaizen's Death

The rain had begun again in Kolkata, dripping softly over the empty street.

Kaizen's body lay unmoving, eyes dimmed, the last breath of life leaving him.

The first mysterious man — tall, masked, the figure who had smiled at Kaizen's last sight — crouched close.

A streak of blood ran down his side, a wound from Kaizen's desperate knife attack.

He hissed, pressing his hand against it. The regeneration began — fast

His eyes glowed faintly beneath the mask as he bent over Kaizen's lifeless body.

"Almost… almost perfect," he muttered.

He knelt, preparing to do something —

Then the waves erupted.

Not water. Not fire.

Sharp, shimmering blades slicing outward in every direction.

The man's breath caught.

A wave tore across his side — the wound reopened, blood spilling anew.

He staggered, pain flaring, barely keeping upright.

Every step was agony. Every movement strained against his injured body.

He tried to reach Kaizen, to complete his task, but the blades wouldn't stop.

They spun and rippled, striking the ground, the street, the air — each one humming like a scream across the city.

He twisted, rolled, dodged.

The pain never stopped.

The waves pulsed outward, unstoppable.

Buildings shook.

The ground cracked.

Even the sky seemed to split as energy surged across the horizon.

For a moment, he froze.

This attack — Kaizen's death energy — was tearing the fabric of the universe itself.

The sound of the city breaking was not thunder, but glass shattering underwater.

He teleported, vanishing from that world in an instant — leaving only the echo of the deadly waves behind.

But another figure — another mysterious man — wasn't so lucky.

Caught too close, he screamed as the blades tore through him.

His body dissolved into shards of light and shadow.

And then silence.

The waves didn't stop.

They kept spreading.

Across the city. Across the land.

Across the Earth.

A surge of pure, raw destruction rolled outward — blades of energy slicing through reality itself.

The world trembled under its weight.

Above it all, the first mysterious man — injured, bleeding, barely standing.

Eyes glowing. Smiling faintly.

He had survived — but what the Master desired still lay beyond his reach.

The mission was incomplete.

Yet one truth remained: Kaizen's death had unleashed something far beyond their control.

And the waves? They were not the end — they were the beginning.
