Chapter 126 - Chapter 125: Samurai’s Blood

Code Geass: the story that begins years after Britannia—ruler of a third of the globe—conquers Japan and rebrands it Area 11. These men calling it that meant the conquest was done. So they were likely resistance—Japan Liberation Front types.

That explained the murder in their eyes. In my past life, sure. But now I was Axel Almer. Non-Japanese name. To them? Britannian scum.

"You sniffed out our hideout—impressive for a tin soldier. Too bad you die here. Can't let our base leak."

His finger twitched on the trigger. I pressed harder on the throat under my boot.

"Guh—"

The first guy croaked pathetically. No one flinched.

"Hostage? Cute. Every soul in Samurai's Blood is ready to die to drive you Britannian dogs out!"

"…Your 'hostage' doesn't seem to agree."

The pinned man's eyes screamed help.

Samurai's Blood? Familiar… maybe. Top Geass resistance: Black Knights, then JLF. This wasn't ringing bells.

"Wait—earlier, that giant KMF from afar… new Britannian weapon?"

Shit. They'd spotted Trinity Gain. Couldn't let them walk now. Sorry, boys—permanent silence.

"Accelerate!"

"Gyuh—"

Boot crushed windpipe; I blurred.

"Don't let him escape—fire!"

Too late.

"Haa!"

Fist sank into the solar plexus of the guy on my right, spun behind him—human shield. Gunfire cracked. My shield jerked with impacts, went limp.

"Slime!"

Spatial storage yawned. Silver tendrils lashed out.

"W-what the—monster! Shoot, shoot!"

Panic fire—useless. Less than a second later, resistance became red mist and chunks.

"No bodies, no problems. Absorb."

Slime slurped corpses. They'd come because of Trinity Gain. Someone sent them—base nearby.

"…Damn. Should've kept one alive for intel."

Panic from the jump. OG world to Geass—brain short-circuited. Still, deployment time meant their HQ was close.

Focused. Slime flowed like mercury toward their trail—auto-scout mode. Thirty minutes later: abandoned mine, bristling with mobile turrets. That's the nest.

"Target acquired… now how to crack it."

Stored slime. Scoped with Lemon-special visor from range. Expected five-man scout team—wrong. This was a fortress. No KMF visible, but could be inside. Turrets everywhere—human infiltration = pain, low yield.

"Then… Grow Savior?"

Dismissed instantly. Timeline unknown—critical. KMF flight debuted Kyushu Campaign… or Zero stealing Gawain at Kamine Island? R2 made it standard. Flying Tesla Drive now? Timeline suicide. Britannian contact = interrogation. I could talk; the mech couldn't. No flight-capable units.

Inventory: Landlion, Landgrizz, Lars Angriff. Mass-pro Ashsaviors—all Tesla-equipped, out. Oldest, most expendable?

"Landlion it is."

Lightly armed VC duo vs. heavy—Landlion's mobility fit my style. Deployed. 20m tall—taller than trees.

"Instant spotlight."

Turrets opened up. I slid on Stick Movers—caterpillar legs, ground-bound but fast. Lion-series railgun—Landlion's was oversized, overkill.

"Eat this!"

Rail slug punched a turret—boom. Zipped along the slope, machine cannons and homing missiles shredding emplacements. Ten turrets down—then twenty tanks rolled out.

"Tanks, huh."

Expected KMF—Fan's proto-Black Knights had Glasgows with fewer bodies. No KMF here? Pre-canon or early Season 1.

"Damn it—too sluggish!"

Dodged shells, but Landlion lagged hard. Vaisaga felt slow; this was glacial. T-LINK Grow Savior vs. ancient Lion? Tech gap expected. I chose this—quit whining.

"Slow!"

Dropped height with spread legs, evaded rear shot. Spun, flank-railgunned the offender.

"Japan—BANZAI!"

Comm scream—tank blossomed fire. Fanatic.

Bitter stare—then ground beside me erupted.

"Tch."

Resumed slide. Grow Savior would've predicted via T-LINK. Never this blind. Telekinesis or not, I'd leaned on T-LINK like a crutch.

Two tanks ahead, turrets tracking.

"Accelerate!"

Leapt, cleared them—rail + missiles mid-air. Twin explosions.

Still outnumbered, unfamiliar ride—bad odds.

Then: a turret self-destructed.

"…?"

Monitors: encirclement—KMF vanguard, tanks rear. Blocky Sutherlands. Sleeker Gloucesters.

Britannian Army.

Muttered "Britannia…" as a Gloucester dropped beside me—white cape, twin horns.

"Cornelia li Britannia…"
