Chapter 42 - Chapter 42 Eden vs. Berserker Beast!

"Where is my opponent?!"

"Don't tell me these small fry are my enemies? They aren't even worthy of my blade."

The Berserker Beast stood somewhat bewildered among the small fry, his gaze sweeping around. After his eyes passed over the faces of Cannon, Kusk, and others, he looked at Isotope with dissatisfaction; he hadn't come for money.

The Berserker Beast came to this planet because he heard from the Planetary Alliance that there was a Viltrum elite on this planet. So, he used his connections to contact the local forces on this planet, hoping to facilitate his hunt for the Viltrum elite through the hands of the planet's natives.

"Hey, who are you calling small fry?!"

The Berserker Beast's words immediately drew the displeasure of those around him. They glared at the white lion before them and asked.

"..."

The Berserker Beast didn't even bother to say more to the weaklings around him.

The Berserker Beast was currently pondering, if the local forces of this planet couldn't facilitate his battle with the Viltrum elite, then who should he ask for help?!

"Whoosh!!"

Just then, a sound of something tearing through the air reached everyone's ears.

"That Lord has arrived."

Isotope smiled and said calmly.

"That Lord?!"

A group of villainous thugs were all stunned after taking in Isotope's words.

"Boom!"

Just then, amidst a violent tremor, a man in black battle armor descended from the skylight of the basement, kicking up a cloud of dust.

The moment the man descended, Isotope immediately went to his side, respectfully bowed, and softly said, "Lord, you've arrived?!"

"Mm."

It was only when the man stood up from the ground that the villains present could barely make out his appearance through the smoke and dust, as well as the faint 'S' on the chest of the black battle armor he wore.

"Su... Superman?!"

For a moment, the villains present were all a bit dazed. They couldn't understand why Superman, the leader of superheroes and the strongest combatant on the surface, would appear here?

Moreover, this Superman acted as if he was very familiar with Isotope.

"Zzzzzz!"

Before these villains could think further, and before they could fully make out the man's exact appearance, crimson heat vision had already sliced through the air, instantly piercing through the bodies of these super villains.

"Damn it!"

"This isn't what we agreed upon."

The villains saw the scene before them and wanted to escape, but it was too late.

In just a few short seconds, only Eden, Isotope, and the Berserker Beast remained in the entire basement.

"Ah?"

Of course, it wasn't just these wrongfully killed villains who were incredibly bewildered before their deaths.

Even Isotope, who had painstakingly recruited everyone, was utterly dumbfounded. How was he to know that Eden had him painstakingly gather this group of heinous villains to 'practice' his heat vision?!

"Isotope, you may leave."

Eden said without looking back.

"Understood."

Isotope dared not say more, nor dared to ask more. After receiving Eden's command, he immediately teleported away from here.

"Are you the Berserker Beast?"

Eden asked, looking at the Berserker Beast.

"Kid, have you heard my story?!"

The Berserker Beast ignored Eden's act of slaying the small fry.

At this moment, the Berserker Beast felt his heart pounding 'thump, thump' ceaselessly, and the cells throughout his body roared. From the first moment he saw Eden, he knew that this man before him was the formidable enemy he had been painstakingly searching for across the universe.

"Your face is full of stories."

Eden looked at the Berserker Beast's ferocious and bloodthirsty face and sneered.

"Enough with the nonsense!"

"I don't think you're here to chat with me, kid."

The Berserker Beast chuckled, leaned in close to Eden, and said coldly.

"We'll determine who's superior, and who lives or dies."

Eden said directly.

"Exactly what I want."

The Berserker Beast nodded in satisfaction.

"Boom!"

Then, before the Berserker Beast could react, Eden's massive fist had already landed on his face.

The Berserker Beast's body was directly sent flying, leaving an afterimage from Eden's punch. His rough back directly smashed through the Mechanical Head, the safe house that cost hundreds of millions of dollars to build.

Global Security Bureau.

"The area within a hundred miles has been evacuated, right?"

Cecil sat in front of the monitor, asking Donald beside him.

Even Cecil himself couldn't remember how many times he had asked Donald for confirmation today.

"Of course."

Donald nodded.

"Boom!"

It was also at this moment that Cecil saw a flash of fire on the screen, and the entire service area was engulfed in an endless sea of flames. The hundred-meter fireball created by the gas station Explosion was shocking to him, even just watching it on the screen.

"What happened?"

"Is that kid Eden okay?"

Cecil's heart tightened.

"Whoosh!"

Just as Cecil was worrying about Eden's safety, two strong figures, as if no one else was around, broke through the flames, creating a violent air current that extinguished the fire, and flew into the sky.

On the screen.

Cecil saw Eden, dressed in black, with one hand tightly gripping the Berserker Beast's neck, and the other continuously pummeling the Berserker Beast's face. Each of his punches made the Berserker Beast spit blood.

"Damn it, I seem to have underestimated that kid Eden."

Cecil muttered to himself, watching the scene before him.

Thousands of meters in the sky.

A passenger plane slowly glided by. A young boy sitting by the window was enjoying the blue sky and white clouds outside.

It was the boy's first time on a plane, so unlike the adults who were already dozing off, he was full of energy, admiring the beautiful scenery of the sky.

The feeling of soaring through the clouds made him imagine himself as Superman, hoping that one day he could freely travel among the clouds.

"Hmm?!"

Just then, the boy seemed to see something incredible. He immediately woke his sleeping mother beside him and whispered, "Mom, I think I saw Superman beating up a big cat?"

"Hmm?"

The boy's mother looked out through the small window. After finding no suspicious objects, she looked at the boy and whispered, "I think you've watched too many cartoons."

At the same time.

Edge of the atmosphere.

"Berserker Beast, I heard you can't fly?"

Eden choked the Berserker Beast by the neck and sent him into the sky.

"Despicable brat!"

"You don't deserve to be called a warrior."

"If you have the guts, let us stand on solid ground and have a man-to-man duel!"

The Berserker Beast cursed.

Unfortunately, once the Berserker Beast entered space, he could no longer make any sound.
