Blanche's POV
I barely had time to process what was happening before Drew dragged a chair over and planted himself right beside Demetrius.
"Bet you didn't know, but just an hour ago, Blanche was out having dinner with another guy," Drew said, his voice dripping with implication.
He was obviously trying to plant seeds of doubt in Demetrius's mind about my behavior.
Most men would've started questioning me after hearing something like that, but Demetrius just smiled at Drew. "Blanche is free to do as she pleases."
"She can have dinner with anyone she wants, and it's not my place to interfere. As long as she's happy, that's all that matters. Not me, not anyone else, has the right to tell her what to do."
Demetrius didn't think he had any authority over my personal life yet. Plus, he believed I wouldn't be influenced by Drew's games.
Drew's expression turned icy. "With so many women out there, why are you so fixated on just one?"
