Blanche's POV
Zain had come with me, but when Wayne remembered my claim about being just Zain's secretary and witnessed Zain's gentle care for Joanna, he clearly decided Joanna had to be Oswald's granddaughter-in-law.
Sure of his conclusion, Wayne beamed at her warmly. "No worries at all. Please, feel comfortable here."
His kindness touched Joanna, and she smiled back.
"Thank you so much."
Wayne gave a nod before turning toward Nathan. "Zain, who's this good-looking young man?" he inquired.
The stranger at the door had caught his eye earlier.
Wayne didn't recognize him, but he could sense importance radiating from the guy.
All these years, only Drew and Nicholas had tagged along with Zain, making this newcomer someone worth noticing.
Kingsley jumped in before Zain could respond, sneering, "Wayne, he's nobody special. Don't waste your time on him."
Zain interrupted sharply. "Wayne, meet Nathan. He handles business deals with Drew and me."
