Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: The Plains Hunter

'A Furious Green Wolf appeared... Just kidding.'

While he was resting and about 80% recovered, a 1.5 m Green Wolf detected him and appeared a few meters away from him.

Without hesitating, the Green Wolf attacked him.

*Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!*

When four wind sickles were fired in his direction, Rito didn't try to dodge, but instead, burst into Flames as he moved away from the tree.

When the wind sickles touched the flames around his body, it was as if they had been sucked in, but the reality was that Rito controlled them as soon as they touched the flames.

Extending his left hand, a two-meter fire sphere is created.

*Whoosh!*

The firing sound was like the sound of fire in a torch that was swung hard.

*Howl!*

Racing through the air, the Green Wolf gains altitude while looking down arrogantly at him as it dodged the fireball, however, Rito was waiting for that, making a green wind ball explode right below the fireball and changed the fireball's direction.

*Boom!*

With no chance to retreat, the Green Wolf created a wind sphere and fired it in the direction of the fireball, but it didn't even have half the size and instead of stopping it, it fueled the flames even more that exploded into flames, engulfing the Green Wolf in the process.

From the flames, red and purple orbs shone.

Four intense red light orbs and two purple light orbs.

'No Wind Divine Art this time...'

Picking up the orbs, he returned to rest at the tree.

...

After recovering, Rito went out to hunt.

The first victim was a solitary 1.6 m tall white rabbit.

When the giant white rabbit saw him, it jumped in his direction with its front paws like sharp claws intending to slash him.

"Slow..."

Even without activating the Sage Eyes, this rabbit that before he had trouble dodging, was simply too slow.

Dodging the charge to the side, he gave a downward slap.

*Whoosh!*

*SLAP!!*

*CRACK!*

*Boom!*

His brutal slap whistled through the wind and hit the giant white rabbit's head. When that was done, it was followed by a sequence of sounds and ended with the giant white rabbit's body smashed into the ground in a 5 m wide and deep crater.

It was supposed to be just the giant white rabbit's head suffering the impact of the slap, but what really happened was the entire rabbit's body being crushed until it became a pancake.

Rito jumped back while his expression changed.

He was looking at his own hand in disbelief.

"Was that really me?" He murmured softly.

It was when he remembered what happened before with him when refining the complete body. He gained the Divine Arts: Divine Strength and Divine Body. Combining the two, that must be the result.

Opening and closing his eyes, he still couldn't hide the surprise.

Being aware of his own strength made him rethink in various ways, one of them being learning more about himself.

The risk of ending up killing someone because he didn't know how much strength he used was a real risk for him now.

Luckily, he discovered this in time.

'It's time to hunt some rabbits. After that, I can try to kill some more Green Wolves...'

It was a matter of priorities.

The giant rabbits were better opponents for training. Especially if he didn't want to kill them with a single intentional attack.

He closes his eyes and uses the wind to track a location with a higher number of rabbits.

"Found it."

Opening his eyes, he enveloped his body with a faint green light and began to fly.

"It's here..."

He stopped near a rabbit burrow.

Near a widely open area.

On the lawn outside, there were 52 rabbits, nine of them over one meter tall.

There were white, black, and gray rabbits.

The rabbits stopped what they were doing and raised their pointed ears.

Several of them managed to guess Rito's location.

Under the gaze of several pairs of red eyes, Rito descended and landed in front of one of the gray rabbits and before the rabbit could react, he gave a horizontal slap on the rabbit's head.

*SLAP!*

*Bang!*

Even using only half of his total strength, the rabbit's head exploded.

This scene completely alerted the rabbits who began to produce sounds like "Sniff" and "Squeal".

But... He didn't put much fear in the rabbits, proof of that was two rabbits, one white and one black jumping in his direction.

Each of them was over one meter tall.

Rito moved faster than them and by positioning to the side of each, with arms crossed, he used 40% strength and gave a double horizontal slap with the back of his hands.

*SLAP! SLAP!*

*Bang! Bang!*

"..."

'Still too strong?'

Somewhat surprising, considering they were stronger rabbits.

Without having time to pay attention to that, he saw another three rabbits jump in his direction.

Now with 30% total strength, he gave a slap to the first and when the head exploded, he reduced to 20% and when he hit the second he also crushed the head, but even though he killed it, he didn't explode the poor rabbit's head and on the last one he used only 15% and made the rabbit's neck break with a crack and the rabbit spin in the air.

'I understand, so, I need to use only 15 to 20% of my total strength to kill these rabbits...'

With that in mind, he stopped the simple tests when he saw the rabbits start to flee and surrounded his body with wind once again and moved very fast, giving a sequence of slaps on the head of all the rabbits.

In moments, all 52 rabbits died.

Waving his hand, he made all the light orbs float to him with wind.

Shining in the air, there were 135 faint red light orbs and 8 faint purple light orbs.

Unless a super rabbit appears, these giant rabbits were no longer a challenge for him even in groups.

'It's time to officially start hunting the Green Wolves and the Armored Dogs.'

As for the Flaming Red Lions... He won't run if he encounters one alone, but he didn't want to face it if it's more than one.
