Chapter 25 - 25

The sun rose over the Clover Kingdom, casting golden light across the capital. News of the recent engagement against the Eye of the Midnight Sun had already begun to spread among the Magic Knights. Whispers of the mysterious prodigy from Blue Rose and his uncanny coordination with the Anti-Magic swordsman were circulating rapidly.

Satoru adjusted the orbs orbiting him, their faint purple glow catching the morning light. His system chimed softly: Public awareness: rising. Probability of high-ranking observer intervention: 67%.

Asta bounded beside him, still brimming with unspent energy. "Satoru! Did you see that? We actually took them down without even losing anyone!"

Satoru smiled faintly, letting Shooting Star projectiles dance lazily around him. "Yes, but it wasn't just raw power. Timing, positioning, and synergy were what made the difference. That's what people will notice."

As they walked toward the Blue Rose headquarters for a formal debrief, a formal procession of the Magic Knight Command appeared ahead. At the forefront stood the Wizard King, his piercing gaze scanning the crowd with the aura of someone who had seen decades of conflict.

The Wizard King's attention immediately settled on Satoru and Asta. The system pinged: High-level recognition detected. Probability of observation leading to future opportunities: extremely high.

"You there," the Wizard King's voice boomed, authoritative and calm, "the one coordinating the attacks while allowing the Anti-Magic swordsman to lead the frontline. Step forward."

Satoru and Asta approached cautiously, aware of the magnitude of this moment. Yuno, observing from the side, nodded subtly, understanding the significance.

The Wizard King studied them, his expression unreadable. After a moment, he spoke again: "I have observed many Magic Knights in my tenure. Rarely have I seen such precision, foresight, and adaptability. Pairing conventional magic with Anti-Magic… it's unprecedented. And yet, it works."

Satoru's system pinged continuously: New quest opportunity: "Wizard King Acknowledgement" – Potential benefits: high-level guidance, accelerated skill acquisition, access to elite missions.

Asta, ever enthusiastic, grinned. "Does that mean you like us?"

The Wizard King's gaze softened slightly, though his tone remained firm. "I am not here to give compliments. I am here to recognize potential. Both of you—your coordination, adaptability, and growth trajectory—are exceptional. I will be keeping an eye on you. Opportunities will come, but only if you continue to prove yourselves."

Satoru's system activated a silent prompt: Reputation metric increased: +15. New abilities or training potential available: high. Tactical growth trajectory elevated.

Even as the Wizard King departed, the subtle effect of his recognition lingered. Satoru and Asta shared a glance, understanding what this meant: their combined abilities had set them apart from everyone else, and their growth would no longer go unnoticed.

Later, during training with Blue Rose, Satoru reflected on the encounter. The system whispered: High-ranking acknowledgment detected. Strategic advantage: long-term. Recommend integration of Star Magic + Anti-Magic combined tactics into team training exercises.

Satoru turned to Asta, a faint smirk on his face. "This changes things. Opportunities will open, but they will come with expectations. We need to be ready."

Asta's eyes gleamed. "Then let's get even stronger! Star Magic and Anti-Magic—nobody will beat us!"

The system chimed softly, noting quest progression, skill growth, and reputation. Satoru's path as a rising anti-hero strategist, master of Star Magic, and subtle manipulator of battlefield dynamics had just reached a new level. And now, even the highest ranks of the Clover Kingdom had begun to take notice.
