Chapter 182 - Chapter 182 Determination

"I'm so useless. Natsu keeps getting injured recently, and all I can do is watch from the sidelines, unable to do anything."

"I also want to be able to help Natsu, just like Yuumi."

"I don't want Natsu to face danger alone anymore."

Happy said this with tears in his eyes, gritting his teeth.

"Help me, EZ!" The little guy trembled, about to bump his head on the table.

Ezreal timely raised his hand to support Happy's head, then used both hands to help him sit on the table.

Ezreal looked at the little guy seriously, handing him a tissue. "I understand your intentions. This is truly rare."

"If you want to become stronger, I do have a way."

Happy took the tissue, wiped his tears and snot, and stared at Ezreal, waiting for him to continue.

Ezreal continued, "You've had a lot of contact with Yuumi. Yuumi's attaching magic is very suitable for assisting teammates. You should have witnessed this recently."

Happy nodded.

"Yuumi is still young, her training isn't complete, and she doesn't have much magic power, but she can still provide beneficial effects to her companions."

"Whether it's the comprehensive boost after attaching, or her healing and shielding abilities, they are all very effective."

"You are much older than Yuumi, and your magic power is also more abundant."

"I have a way to let you learn Yuumi's magic. From now on, as long as you train hard, Natsu will have a very reliable companion."

Ezreal smiled, watching the little guy's eyes grow brighter and brighter, and couldn't help but pat Happy's cat head.

"Really?" Happy asked, looking up, rubbing his two small paws together on his chest.

Ezreal looked at him seriously, "However, have you really thought it through?"

"This will make you face many dangers. If one day you truly encounter an insurmountable enemy, you, fighting alongside Natsu, might die with him."

"I don't care about that at all!" Happy stood up excitedly and shouted, "At such a moment, if I wasn't by Natsu's side, I would definitely regret it!"

The little guy's determined look truly made Ezreal pause.

This guild mascot from the anime, his resolve to protect his companions is no weaker than anyone else in the guild.

"In that case, I understand your intentions." Ezreal stood up, his expression serious, and extended his left hand towards Happy.

A green magic circle spread from his palm, a dizzying array of ancient texts and runes forming the magic circle.

Happy sat on the table, full of anticipation, obediently not moving.

"Magic Alchemy · Engrave!"

Ezreal murmured softly, the magic circle in his palm expanded again, and a vibrant, emerald green light illuminated the library. Green runes flew out from within the circle, forming chains that completely enveloped Happy.

Time passed quickly. About half an hour later, the green light gradually dimmed and dissipated.

Happy, meanwhile, had fallen into a deep sleep, his body slightly larger than before.

Ezreal shook his hand, dispelling the magic circle, and looking at the half-open door, he softly said, "Take Happy back to rest."

A cherry-haired young man gently pushed open the door and walked in.

"No wonder Happy came to find me, you certainly look pretty miserable." Ezreal sat down, took a sip of water, and teased Natsu.

Natsu awkwardly scratched his head. He did look quite pathetic now, with a large bandage wrapped from his shoulder to his torso, his entire right arm bandaged, and two pieces of gauze on his face.

"Didn't Yuumi heal your injuries?" Ezreal asked.

Natsu rubbed his nose. "They're all just superficial wounds. Yuumi ran out of magic power during the battle. These minor injuries will be fine after bandaging, and they'll heal by tomorrow if I'm lucky."

Ezreal grumbled, a bit speechless, "Then why did you tie yourself up like a zongzi?"

Natsu pulled out a chair and sat down, spreading his hands helplessly. "Erza ordered some nurse outfits a while ago and said it would be a waste of money if we didn't try them on."

Ezreal glanced at the rough bandaging on Natsu, unable to help but give him a sympathetic look.

Natsu took off the scarf from his neck and gently wrapped it around the sleeping Yuumi, then carefully held the little guy in his arms, looking at Ezreal with some hesitation. "Happy, he…"

Ezreal gave him a reassuring look and explained, "I've engraved Yuumi's magic into Happy's body. Happy now has all of Yuumi's abilities. Additionally, I've increased Happy's total magic power. His body needs to adapt a bit, but he'll wake up tomorrow after a good night's sleep."

"Thank you, EZ." Natsu first thanked Ezreal, then looked down at the sleeping Happy in his arms, his eyes gentle. "Happy, that guy…"

"You must have heard what Happy said at the door, right?" Ezreal said.

His fingers, wearing metal gauntlets, tapped crisply on the desk. Ezreal looked at him. "Don't say any nonsensical things."

"Once a man decides on a path, even if knives fall from the sky, he will walk it without hesitation."

"For the people and things he cares about, it doesn't matter what he sacrifices."

Natsu was stunned. He took a deep breath, then, holding Happy, stood up and bowed deeply to Ezreal.

The atmosphere within the guild was harmonious, with everyone treating each other like family. It was rare for companions to show such great respect to each other.

But Ezreal sat steadily in his chair, watching Natsu, who was holding Happy, turn and leave with resolute eyes… Jet tightened his clothes. The cold wind rustled through the forest. He stood in front of Granny Poluchka's wooden cabin, hesitated for a moment, then raised his hand and knocked on the door.

"Thump, thump-thump!"

After a short while, Porlyusica opened the door, holding a pestle. Her stern expression made Jet's heart skip a beat. "If you don't have something very important to disturb my rest, you know the consequences, right?"

Granny Poluchka raised the pestle in her hand, her expressionless face truly imposing.

"I'm so sorry!" Jet immediately bowed in apology, then took out an ancient alchemy book from his embrace and showed it to Granny Poluchka. "I hope you can help me create this potion. Besides you, I can't think of anyone else who can provide me with assistance in potion making."

Granny Poluchka lowered her head. The opened page of the alchemy book was precisely the one concerning the creation of highly poisonous potions.

Her eyes scanned the ingredient list, and the highly toxic substances within it made even her, an experienced alchemist, frown.

"Potent poison?" Porlyusica looked at Jet, who remained silent with his head down, merely holding the book. After a moment of silence, she took the ancient book and turned to walk inside the cabin.

"What are you standing there for? Don't you know to come in and help?"

"Do I have to invite you in?"
