His voice held magic, sweeping through the village like a shockwave, making the houses tremble slightly!
The villagers hiding inside shivered in fear, not daring to breathe.
Yuka pouted, subtly kicking him, and whispered, "You, aren't you overdoing the act?"
Toby blinked, scratched his head, "Didn't the boss say we should act fierce?"
Sherry rolled her eyes and retorted testily, "Be careful, you might be the one who gets beaten the worst later."
Toby chuckled foolishly, "No way, I'm the Great Demon Toby!"
"Then I'll keep shouting!"
Yuka rubbed his forehead in exasperation.
Sherry rolled her eyes and waved him on.
Toby grinned and continued to shout, "Everyone, get out! If you don't come out in three counts, I'll wipe you all out!"
"Silence!"
A cold roar echoed!
Gray's figure appeared in the open space at the village entrance, blocking Toby and his two companions!
Elfman and Juvia stood on his left and right, respectively.
"Are you Deliora's lackeys?" Gray's ice-blue eyes swept over the three, radiating coldness, "You want to take the villagers? You'll have to get past the Ice in my hands first!"
"Oh?" Yuka pushed up his glasses, a smile of interest on his face, "Mages from Fairy Tail? Interesting. But, do you three really think you can stop us?"
"You're courting death!" Sherry spat out coldly, her hands gently raised, and the gravel and dirt on the ground began to tremble slightly.
Toby was stunned, looking at his two companions in disbelief, "You two got into character so quickly?"
Sherry couldn't stand it anymore and kicked him on the shin, "Shut up! Idiot! Concentrate!"
"Ow!" Toby cried out in pain, quickly put away his foolish grin, tried to straighten his face, and roared at Gray: "Roar—! You dare to obstruct Lord Deliora's command! You're looking for death!"
"Who's looking for death? We'll find out after we fight!" Elfman roared, launching his attack first!
"Take Over: Lizard Man's Claw!"
Buzz—!
His arms instantly swelled and transformed!
His skin was covered with hard, dark green scales, and his fingers became sharp as hooks, tearing through the air with a fierce shriek as he fiercely clawed at Toby in the middle!
"Hmph! Petty tricks!" Toby sneered, not dodging, and his right fist, covered in magic patterns and carrying a terrifying evil wind, slammed out with force!
"Demon Punch!"
Bang—!!!
Fist and claw met!
A dull, thunderous collision sound erupted!
A violent wave of air exploded centered on the two of them!
The ground cracked inch by inch!
Elfman grunted, pushed back three steps!
Fine cracks even appeared on the scales of his arm!
He was horrified: What terrifying power!
Toby also swayed slightly, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes: "You have some strength! But it's not enough!"
At the same time, Sherry moved!
"Doll Attack: Stone Man!"
She slammed her hands onto the ground!
Rumble—!
The ground shook violently!
A giant Stone Man, five meters tall and made of hard rock, rose from the ground!
The Stone Man swung its millstone-sized fist, with a whistling wind, and fiercely smashed it towards Juvia!
"Water Shield!"
Juvia reacted extremely quickly, forming hand signs rapidly in front of her chest!
A thick, wave-like giant shield instantly formed, blocking in front of her!
Boom—!!!
The stone fist slammed heavily onto the Water Shield!
Water splashed everywhere! The shield trembled violently but did not break!
"Water Whip!"
Juvia flicked her hands, and the Water Shield instantly transformed into two agile, giant Water Whips, coiling around the Stone Man like giant pythons!
On the other side, Yuka's gaze locked onto Gray.
"Wave Mage Yuka, allow me to experience your skill!" Yuka bowed slightly, his movements elegant, but his eyes were as sharp as an eagle's.
"Ice Make Mage, Gray Fullbuster!" Gray responded coldly, his body permeated with cold air, and the ground beneath his feet began to freeze.
"Wave Impact: Shockwave!"
Yuka struck first!
He clasped his hands together and thrust them forward!
Buzz—!!!
A visible, light blue shockwave, spreading like ripples, carrying a strong vibrating force, instantly assailed Gray!
Wherever it passed, the air hummed under the strain!
"Ice Make: Ice Wall!"
Gray crossed his arms over his chest, and cold air surged!
A thick, crystalline giant Ice Wall instantly rose from the ground, blocking in front of him!
Boom—!!!
The shockwave slammed heavily into the Ice Wall!
Crack! Crack!
The surface of the Ice Wall instantly became covered with spiderweb-like cracks! But it did not completely shatter!
"Oh? Good defense." A hint of surprise flashed in Yuka's eyes.
"Ice Make: Lance Cavalier!"
Gray let out a low roar and fiercely waved his hands forward!
Buzz!
Buzz!
Buzz!
Dozens of incredibly sharp Ice Lances, emanating extreme cold, instantly materialized in front of Gray!
Like well-trained soldiers, they shot towards Yuka in an overwhelming barrage, accompanied by piercing whooshing sounds!
"Wave Shield!"
Yuka dared not be negligent, quickly drawing his hands in front of him, and a light blue shield made of high-frequency vibrating energy instantly appeared!
Clang, clang, clang—!!!
The Ice Lances struck the shield like a torrential downpour, emitting dense clattering sounds!
The shield fluctuated violently, shattering and deflecting most of the Ice Lances!
But several Ice Lances still penetrated the shield's weak points, flying past Yuka's body and taking a few strands of his hair with them!
Yuka's expression changed slightly; Gray's attack power far exceeded his expectations!
"You've got some skill!" Yuka pushed up his glasses, battle intent rising in his eyes, "But the essence of Wave Magic lies in penetration!"
"Wave Impact: Armor-Piercing Shot!"
He brought his hands together, and a highly compressed, dazzling light blue energy sphere, emanating a blinding glow, condensed between his palms!
The energy sphere contained extremely terrifying vibrating energy within it!
"Go!"
Yuka fiercely pushed the energy sphere forward!
The energy sphere transformed into a streak of light, with a piercing shriek that tore through the air, shooting directly at Gray!
Its speed and power far surpassed the previous shockwave!
Gray's eyes narrowed, sensing the threat of this attack!
"Ice Make: Octagonal Ice Shield!"
He quickly formed hand signs, and a giant Ice Shield, composed of eight huge diamond-shaped ice crystals and with magic runes shimmering at its edges, instantly materialized!
The Ice Shield was thick and sturdy, emanating extreme cold!
Boom—!!!
The armor-piercing shot slammed heavily into the center of the Octagonal Ice Shield!
A violent explosion erupted! The furious vibrating energy fiercely impacted the Ice Shield!
Crack! Crackle crackle—!
The surface of the sturdy Octagonal Ice Shield instantly became covered with cracks!
The center was even blasted with a huge dent!
Ice shards flew everywhere!
Gray was pushed back a step, but the Ice Shield did not completely shatter!
"What?!" Yuka's pupils contracted!
His strongest penetrating attack was actually blocked?!
"My turn!" A cold light flashed in Gray's eyes!
Taking advantage of Yuka's old strength having just faded and new strength not yet generated, he fiercely stepped forward and slammed his hands onto the ground!
"Ice Make: Thorn Garden!"
Buzz—!!!
Centered on Gray, terrifying cold air instantly erupted!
The ground rapidly froze into ice as if ink had been spilled over it!
Immediately after, countless sharp, grotesque, thorn-like giant ice spikes burst through the ice like bamboo shoots after rain, growing wildly and instantly covering an area of several tens of meters in front of Gray!
Forming a terrifying Ice Thorn Hell that completely enveloped Yuka!
"Not good!" Yuka's face changed dramatically! He wanted to retreat, but the ground beneath his feet was already frozen, hindering his movement!
Countless sharp ice spikes came from all directions!
"Wave Shield: Full Power!" Yuka roared, pushing his Wave Shield to its limit!
Bang bang bang—!!!
The ice spikes struck the shield like a furious storm!
The shield fluctuated violently, emitting groans of strain!
Although it shattered most of the ice spikes, quite a few still penetrated the shield's defense!
