The plan for Theodore was simple.
He was going to need to take the next 20 minutes of this battle against the nightlight master and hold it long enough to both complete his mission and acquire the added reward for after he's killed it.
But the task at hand was was not
going to be so easily accomplished.
Theodore was going to truly have to earn this battle against the powerful monarch.
The nighlight master realizing what just happened and noticing the now silver diamond brand across its hulking chest, it then raises its blade overhead, eyes fixated onto Theodore with killing intent, instantly swinging down with movements greater than the speed of lighting itself, masters blade comes down diagonally slashing across young sages chest to his mid-abdomen.
Blood splattered across the ground, Theodore realizing the hit he just took immediately jumps back dozen meters, his white flames still shining whilst light sparks of silver are now dancing around his body & eyes even with the wound he had now received.
Damn it !, I wasn't expecting the sudden burst of speed just now from it, was the nightlight using burst flow a moment ago?, and how powerful is that bone blade it cut through my reinforcement so easily … without giving any more room to think the nightlight master hastened it approach to him with terrifying speed.
In a powerful Lunging motion the nightlight master blade comes swinging forward, hardened shards of bone quickly formed around the blades tip then shot out the blade as it swings.
Theodore focused back, his eyes now a glowing a deep silver, immediately, the speed at which young Sage moved increased dramatically, almost blitzing pass the master for second a trail of multicolored flames can be seen behind and it blaze of light three explosions go off again.
The First multicolored explosion went off above in the room him where they'd dropped down from as Theodore notice the nightlight master now more aggressive nature, was due to other weaker nightlights attempting to steal his kill, although the ones it didn't kill immediately fall under it's master control.
Second explosion occurs almost immediately after the first but instead this one was directly in front of master body, aiming to deal as much damage during that moment, while the third explosive blast happened 1-2 seconds after to catch nightlight controller off guard.
Delayed attack sent the creature flying upward in a daze, its head spinning for what felt like an instant of intense pain.
Regaining its grip on reality master stops its momentum grabbing onto one of the nearby walls, its four curved elongated sharp fingers digging into black star ships reinforced hull with relative ease.
Creature tilts it head the white still glowing ever creepily then with force of rail gun being shot across a continent, push itself off the airs "surface" using burst flow to sent itself flying back at Theodore, its blade already in the motion of swinging at his neck now, but before it can reach stab through, in a ever blinding light of pure white flames, rokos rib.., skeletal rib juts out rapidly manifesting from beneath his feet underground blocking the bone blade strike aimed at his neck.
"Nice try on that one" Theodore pulls his right arm up still cladded in the skeletal flaming fist and in open palm motion; releases a powerful blast of fire that ignites most of the tomb of bones nightlight master had created earlier into the battle.
BOOM!!!
in doing this he managed to reduce greatly the amount of bones nightlight master could use on hand without having to manifest more bones from its body.
Only one minute has passed between two deathly fighters battle as they are now locked into faced confrontation, Theodore flaming white fist pushing back against master unwavering power truly titanic in how it swings it blade after each hit, Theodore can feel his bones and body rattle after each block with roko Ribs, I've got so much more time left., oh well it just looks like I'm gonnna need to speed up my aggression of this fight … in that moment everything in the room grew increasingly much hotter then before.
Boosting his hollow energy output upwards of 25% added onto having his "sage eyes" & "flame shroud" still activate, Theodore has now fueled himself into even more heightened state of power than before.
White sparks dance around the battlefield between them, nightlight master blade strikes have grown tremendously faster than before, so much so it feels to Theodore that the creature has entered into new realm of speed & hollow energy output. It's energy now radiating all around its body even more intensely now covering the entire level 5 area of black star-ship.
Due to the planet sized scale of these black star ships and the amount of people that live upon them, Theodore noted and took into consideration of possible civilian casualties most especially if they were close to level-5 area, although, because of nightlight hordes and how much they reproduce most people instinctively keep way of areas that are closed off and whirl off in the distance few miles away Theodore hears the sound of weapons fire.
More specifically in the area above him, thinking that it would be only one group who'd mobile this fast to deal with something like this, that be the federal alliance who's now made there appearance to defend the ships citizens.
Coming back into the deadly battle at hand. Between the time of federal alliance arrival and storm of attacks that ensued upon both combatants bodies.
More then 10 minutes had passed since.
But this fight was far from over, an onslaught of violent foward sword thrust, the creature form nearly perfect in both its timing and distance management.
Due being a sage especially one connected to that of great renown, Theodore like other of his race possesses a deep intuition for danger alongside emotional intentionss & lifeforces and because of this fact, as blade is shot through the air in a storm of attacks, young sage weaved in between the blade fatal strikes one after another, his movements akin to a angelic waltz.
But truthfully what Theodore was setting into motion is a deadly plan. one that truly does showcase why he is one of the morning falls. And that was use of another two skills that he has inherited.
"Silent step" & "compulsion-words" where two morning fall family abilities thedore could combine now into this fight, covering his mouth for second then muttering a word under his breath. crumble… ,and, with his swift series of movements, the young silver sage hollow energy presence in particular seems to have vanished despite him being in front of the nightlight master, the creature looks oddly confused for second as to sudden drop in energy output only to realize another odd turn of events happening.
Nightlight master realized its body hasn't moved after Theodore covered his mouth in midst of his moving to opposite side of bulkin creature's carapace.
Immediately after, an immense pain washes across the nightlight's black skin seeping into its central nervous systems.
Dropping to one knee the creature humanoid figure sways back and forth slightly then looks back up angrily at face of person who did this but to no avail, Theodore was gone as fast he was there.
Or so that what it had thought until.
BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!
Three golden coins simultaneously bounce off one another with first two hitting on the face and left arm of nightlight master, alongside third that came right after landing directly onto the left arm again but with much more it output applied into that explosion.
In a large plume of fiery smoke, left arm goes flying up into air then comes falling back down onto ground splattered like a bug across a windshield, not long after what can only be described as blood curdling a scream can be heard from entire ship so loud it partially rumbles the entire planet sized object.
Back within the main level-5 Theodore is now put onto the defense due to master now higher outputted attacks reaching levels into high 40% range but this is what Theodore wanted most despite the increase in threat.
Flames of will still flickering in Theodore eyes he was Now going into to the final phase of his plan.
His 20 minutes were soon coming up and It truly was a race against time.
