Chapter 84 - Courting Death

Jessica Brown spoke in a way that left me feeling quite helpless.

However, thinking about it, it makes sense — it seems I have pretended to be a boyfriend in front of both Jessica Brown' and Sarah Moore' families.

Fortunately, the gap in status between their parents is immense, so there shouldn't be any chance of being exposed.

I wasn't planning to stay at the hospital any longer, so I said to Sarah Moore, "Since I've already seen your brother, I won't be going back in. I'll head directly back to the apartment. Sari, remember to come back and cook, alright? I haven't had your braised pork in ages."

Just as I was about to leave, Sarah Moore called out to me.

"Hang on."

I paused, turning my head in confusion: "What's up?"

Sarah handed a set of keys from her pocket to Jessica Brown, then instructed me, "Since you're going back, take Jessica with you."

I was even more baffled: "What do you mean take her? She doesn't stay at her own villa, so what's she coming to our place for?"
