Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Waking Up In Hotel

Edith was shocked to find the bed she had slept on all night covered in red marks. Not only was the bed covered in embarrassing marks, but her entire body was covered in red marks, making her mouth drop open even wider. She was now only wearing her underwear. Her gaze widened as she stared at the figure of the man she recognized as her client. She screamed in fear, clutching the blankets in her hands, trembling.

"What are you doing in my room?!"

The handsome young man grinned at the beautiful woman he'd slept with all night. "Are you senile? You're the one who just barged into my room."

"Really?" Her arms crossed over her chest. "You're the one who's suspicious because you tricked me just now! I know you dragged me here and slept with me!"

"Should I install CCTV cameras first so you'll trust me?"

"Mr. Callum, since you're my VIP client, I won't report you to the police. But I still won't forgive you for harassing me."

"Go ahead and report me to the police. Should I bankrupt your boutique first to scare you?"

Callum wore his white shirt dashingly and then slowly rolled up his sleeves, deliberately exuding a handsome charm that immediately made this woman docile. At first, he wanted to hate this woman, but he changed his mind because he really enjoyed their passionate night. Remembering that steamy moment made his adrenaline rush. Because of their steamy night, he was determined to use this woman as an excuse to avoid the arranged marriage his stepmother had planned.

"Don't you want to take a shower first?" Callum suggested putting on one of his favorite luxury watches.

Edith felt like vomiting all her guts out onto this handsome young man's face for successfully deceiving and trapping her. Now what was she supposed to tell her fiancé? Next week, she was to marry the man she loved so much. If he found out about this, would she be doomed? Especially since her fiancé's family was known for being cruel and demanding perfectionists.

"At a time like this, can you still tell me to take a relaxing bath?" Edith laughed in annoyance, ruffling his hair like a lion. "I hate you so much. After this, I want to cancel our contract. From this day forward, I won't be designing clothes for you anymore!"

The room fell silent again. Edith could only hear the handsome young man's ragged breathing. She admitted that Callum was more handsome than her current fiancé, but she decided she wouldn't fall for a man she'd only met a week ago.

"Did you think I'd attack you while you were in the shower?" Callum laughed out loud, pointing to his temples. "I think you've lost your sanity. I'm all dressed up now, why would I bother attacking you in the bathroom?"

"I'll just warn you! If anything happens to me, you'll be held responsible! Especially if my fiancé finds out about this and I suddenly get pregnant, you can't run away!"

"Okay, I agree with your deal earlier."

Edith tried to get out of bed, but she was so embarrassed by her current appearance, naked in front of a stranger. If only she could turn back time, she would have avoided this strange incident. The question now was, how did she sleep with Callum? As far as she could remember, she had booked a hotel room for herself, but how did Callum know her hotel room? Did Callum have a spy spying on her?

"How did you get into my room?" Edith asked softly.

Callum rolled his eyes and slapped his forehead. "Are you seriously senile? I own this hotel."

"What?!" Edith stared around, her gaze wide. One thing was becoming increasingly odd. It seemed she had entered the wrong room. As far as she could remember, the hotel room she had booked wasn't as luxurious and spacious as this one. Had Callum dragged her in by force last night?

Callum cleared his throat. "It seems like you really don't remember anything from last night."

"What actually happened? Did you really drag me here on purpose? Did you hypnotize me?"

"Why would I do such a cheap thing? Instead of using that weird method, I'd rather use an easier one." He handed the beautiful woman a paper bag. "I've bought you some decent clothes, as an apology for attacking you last night."

Edith stared at the cream-colored knee-length dress with a sly smile. She immediately threw it onto the bed. "You think just by seducing me like this will make me fall in love with you?"

"I'm not going to seduce you. Because it seems you've misunderstood, Edith. What we did last night was a mistake."

"I won't wear any of your dresses. It's free for you to buy a beautiful dress. I really refuse to wear it!"

Callum could only helplessly stare at the woman with a sarcastic smile. He stared intently at his luxury watch as he gazed at the still-naked woman, her curvy body wrapped only in a blanket.

"If you knew the story from last night, would you regret what you said earlier?"

"What?"

"If your fiancé finds out what we did last night, fine, I'll help you explain it to him."

"Are you crazy?! You want me and him to break up?!"

"You will soon know the real facts."

"What?"

"I won't be staying here any longer because I have something important to do now. I suggest you get ready now and forget everything we did last night."

Edith felt increasingly driven to madness as she argued with Callum in the morning. In the end, she wore the dress Callum had given her because the one she had worn before was stained with wine. She reluctantly put on the new dress so she could go home in peace. Being a famous designer, she had to maintain her appearance.

As she stepped out of her executive suite, her footsteps stopped. Her gaze immediately widened as she saw her fiancé kissing another woman near the emergency staircase.
