Callum was increasingly suspicious that something serious was wrong with his fiancée. Without even speaking to her directly, he could already read the gloomy expression on her face, indicating that she didn't want to be disturbed by anyone. He had long known Edith's stubborn personality. She didn't want anyone interfering in her affairs and wanted to solve her problems herself. However, on the other hand, she didn't want her fiancée to solve her problems on her own.
Before going to bed, Callum continued to monitor Edith's increasingly suspicious movements. Even though her eyes were closed, he knew she was so restless that she had trouble sleeping, walking out of the room repeatedly with her phone in her hand. This wasn't usually the case with Edith whenever there was a problem. He was just waiting for her to finish her phone conversation while he contacted Patrick, who was secretly investigating the matter.
