Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Perfect Version of the Demon Sparrow Technique

Inside the cave, a pair of bloodshot eyes stared intently into the darkness beyond. Whoosh! Dense flashes of cold light streaked across the rocky walls, and sharp kunai pierced through solid stone. Yet when the strange man saw that the first attackers were neither men nor women—but rather a coordinated pile of kunai, each tied with flaming detonating tags—his pupils gleamed with excitement.

"Roar! None of them! Haha! Then charge out and kill them all!"

Boom! The cave trembled as a deafening explosion echoed, matching the thunderclaps outside.

"Out!"

A voice called sharply. Uchiha Mikoto appeared at the cave entrance, shouting a warning. But as Uchiha Ye observed the figure rushing forward, his expression cleared. Just as expected—Mikoto's intel had been accurate.

"Haha!" The monster burst into laughter, its face marked with terrifying black lines that rippled across its skin. The pattern continuously evolved, warping into a monstrous visage. This wasn't just a tattoo—it was a curse seal.

"Jūgo! Curse seal! Born with an immortal body!"

Uchiha Ye's eyes reflected surprise, while Mikoto, standing beside him, exclaimed, "Ye, you knew?"

The monster's spreading black lines intensified, and Uchiha Ye shouted, "I've heard rumors like this. Make this a quick fight! Don't let it evolve further!"

In perfect coordination, the two leapt onto separate trees. The monster, seeing its targets, let out a bloodthirsty roar.

"Haha! Blood! I want your blood!"

It lunged directly at Mikoto. Uchiha Ye quickly formed hand seals with the other hand.

"Kill!"

A sharp snapping sound pierced the air as the charging beast fell into a pre-set wire trap. But the curse seal enhanced its strength, and it frantically tore through the steel wires.

At that moment, Uchiha Ye unleashed the Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu, gathering chakra behind his throat and launching a massive fireball at the creature's back.

"Ye!" Mikoto shouted, completing her own hand seals to release an even larger fireball.

Two enormous fireballs converged on the monster—one from the front, one from the back. The beast didn't even attempt to dodge, charging headlong into the flames.

Boom!

The fireballs erupted beneath the curtain of rain. Thunder and lightning roared above, masking the chaos of battle. Explosions, shrapnel, and ninjutsu clashes lit up the forest. The monster, now engulfed in devastation, had fully transformed into something no longer human.

"Damn it! It can evolve to this level!" Mikoto gasped, perched on a tree, her eyes locked on the distant monster. Uchiha Ye frowned, absorbing the dangerous reality.

In the original timeline, Orochimaru had only discovered Jūgo's existence later, developing the curse seal. This clan wasn't a typical bloodline—it was a special sage body, capable of drawing on natural energy but unable to control it, often resulting in berserk, emotionally unstable states.

"Go berserk! Emotionally unstable!"

Ye thought rapidly, formulating a plan. "Misaki, use genjutsu! This monster's unstable—draw out its inner fear!"

Trusting him implicitly, Mikoto didn't hesitate. Her magatama Sharingans spun, forming intricate hand seals. The Naraku-sighting jutsu engulfed the monster. Its pupils trembled, and its deepest fears surfaced.

"No! I didn't kill you all! Don't chase me away… Don't…"

Memories flooded the beast's mind—visions of killing its own villagers and being driven out. As panic consumed it, Ye seized the moment.

"Perfect opportunity!"

Kunai with explosive tags flew from both of Ye's hands, aimed precisely at the monster's throat, mouth, and vital points. Boom! The explosions drowned out its frantic cries.

Mikoto groaned, clutching her eyes in pain. The psychic strain from the illusion, combined with the natural energy of battle, caused tears of blood to stream down her face.

Amidst the smoke, Uchiha Ye unsheathed his ninja sword. "No… I didn't kill you all, I didn't…" The monster's hoarse voice barely pierced the air as the sword struck its throat. Half-severed by the explosion, the creature weakly continued speaking.

Ye then activated the Demon Spawning Technique (Perfect Version)—a forbidden technique sealed in his mind for twelve years. A prismatic seal appeared on his palm, pressed to the opponent's forehead. A powerful suction force erupted, devouring the enemy's unique physical strength.

The monstrous form faded, revealing the true body beneath: a gaunt, white-haired man, devoid of chakra yet drawing on natural energy. His form had been transformed into a monster by the curse seal.

"Ye!" Mikoto cried, rushing in, only to find the old man's mutilated body pinned by Ye's sword.

"I didn't kill… you… anyone…"

His bloodied eyes glared up, but there was no life left. Ye exhaled, his hands shaking, his heart heavy with fear. Even without chakra, this cursed sage body had been terrifyingly formidable.

"Misaki, if we hadn't brought enough detonating tags, both of us could have died here," Ye said grimly. Despite the danger, Mikoto's Sharingans remained fixed on the lifeless figure.

The prismatic seal on Ye's palm gradually faded, leaving only faint traces beneath his skin.

The Perfect Version of the Demon Spawn Technique could devour and fuse bloodlines, but it required extended preparation and genetic stabilization potions to safely adapt the body. Even as a forbidden, perfected technique, it came with in-game limitations—a bitter reality Ye couldn't ignore.

Originally, his plan had been to awaken a member of his own clan, whose bloodline rejection would be minimal. Finding a body with a curse seal was rare. Moreover, Ye wanted to validate a hypothesis, one that perfectly aligned with Tsunade's larger plan.

After a deep breath, Ye's expression hardened, his mind already racing toward the next step.
