Chapter 20 - chapter 18 _ The Perfect Weapon

Zayan sat alone at the corner of the lake, a glass in his hand. He took a slow drink, staring at the water.

Zoya walked toward him and sat beside him quietly.

Zoya: What do you think you're doing, Zayan?

Do you really think challenging Wali is the right thing? You don't know him the way I do. He can cross any limit. If he wants something, he gets it — no matter the cost.

Zayan (quietly): Don't worry. I'll manage.

Zoya: Manage what?

I warned you, Zayan. The moment you came back into her life, everything started breaking again.

You were the one begging me for a single chance. I trusted you.

Please… don't prove me wrong.

Suddenly, the glass shattered in Zayan's hand.

Blood dripped from his palm, but he didn't react.

His eyes turned red. Tears slipped down his face.

Zayan (shouting): So what do you think? That I'm enjoying this?

You have no idea how I survived with this guilt… how I survived these last five years.

He paused. His breath shook. His voice cracked.

Zayan: And now… how do I survive seeing Zara like this?

The way she loves me.

The way she trusts me.

It makes my heart heavier every single day.

I want to tell her the truth. I want to scream it out.

But I can't.

Not because she'll hate me — I can bear her hatred.

But because I can't risk her life.

I can't watch her break in front of me.

I can't afford her pain.

His voice dropped to a whisper.

Zayan: Every day this guilt kills me slowly.

Sometimes… I hate myself so much that I wish I had died in that accident too.

At least then, I wouldn't have to survive with this pain.

Zoya watched him silently, tears filling her eyes.

She wrapped her arms around him, holding him tightly.Zoya gently placed her hand on Zayan's shoulder, trying to comfort him.

Zayan (in a broken voice): But I really love your sister, Zoya.

My feelings are not fake.

I have loved only one girl in my entire life… and that is Zara.

Zoya pulled him into a tight hug.

For the first time, Zayan completely broke down in her arms — all his strength, all his control, finally giving up.

Scene – Next Morning

Everyone is chilling as students prepare breakfast.

Wali: Good morning, everyone.

Ahmed: Good morning, my king. What do you want for breakfast?

Wali: Just one cup of coffee for now. Later, I'll have a cheese omelette with bread slices.

Ali: Wali, you're not at your in-laws' house. Come and help us.

Ahmed: Yes, if you want breakfast, you have to do your part.

Wali: I don't.

Boy: Then forget breakfast.

Ali: He's right.

Wali: I don't need your breakfast.

Ahmed: So what will you eat?

Ahmed picks up some grass.

Ahmed: That grass.

Everyone laughs.

Wali: No. That's what you need. Just wait and watch.

Ali: Where are you going?

Wali doesn't look back. He only waves his hand and walks away.

Scene – Preparing Food

Boy: What do you think he's up to?

Ali (smirking): Just watch and learn.

Meanwhile, the girls are preparing food.

Girl 1: Hey, what are you doing?

Girl 2: Just cutting vegetables.

Wali joins them and whispers in the girl's ear.

Wali: Those beautiful hands… they're not made for cutting vegetables.

The girl blushes slightly.

Girl 2: Wali, stop it!

Wali (smirking): Aww… just look at yourself. You look so beautiful when you're blushing.

Scene – Preparing Food (Flirty/Tense Version)

Boy: What do you think he's up to?

Ali (grinning): Just watch and learn.

Meanwhile, the girls are preparing food.

Girl 1: Hey, what are you doing?

Girl 2: Just cutting vegetables.

Wali quietly steps closer and leans in.

Wali: Those hands… they weren't made for this. They're too… delicate.

The girl freezes for a moment, feeling his intensity.

Girl 2: W-Wali! Stop it… seriously.

Wali (smirking, voice low): Aww… don't pretend. I can see it — the way you blush. It suits you.

He straightens up but keeps his eyes locked on hers, leaving a silent tension that makes her heart race.

Wali comes and sits proudly on the chair.

Ahmed: So… have you had your breakfast?

Wali: Hmm… in a few minutes. She will serve it with her own hands.

All the boys look at each other.

Ali: Who?

A girl's voice comes from the corner.

Girl: Wali…

Wali smirks.

Wali: See?

Ahmed (to Ali, whispering): Damn… how does he trap girls so easily?

The girl walks closer, holding a plate.

Girl: Wali, look. I made an omelette for you.

Wali: Thank you.

Everyone watches silently.

Alize (to Sara): Look… she's feeding him herself.

Sara: Oh God… that Wali Shah never changes.

Zoya (smirking): Don't worry. Wali never forgets an omelette like this.

Meanwhile, Zara stands quietly, cutting vegetables—her hands working, but her mind somewhere else.

Girl: Let me feed you with my hands.

Wali: Sure.

He takes one bite.

Suddenly, his expression changes.

Wali (shouting): What the—?!

Are you mad?! Do you want to kill me with spices?!

Girl: Spicy? I just added a little bit!

Wali: Damn… my mouth is burning!

Zoya (teasing): Why, Wali Shah? Not enjoying your special breakfast?

Ali quickly hands him water.

Ali: That's why I told you—learn to cook instead of flirting.

The girl looks at Zoya angrily.

Girl: Zoya, you added spices on purpose, right?

Zoya: Yes. What will you do now?

Girl: I will—

Wali: Stop.

Girl: What, Wali? She ruined everything!

Wali turns to Zoya, staring into her eyes.

Wali: Are you jealous?

Zoya: Why should I be?

Wali: Then why can't you tolerate any girl around me?

Zoya looks at him calmly.

Zoya: Ahmed, give water to your friend.

I think spices have affected his brain.

Zara: Zoya, come with me.

I'm sorry… she ruined your food.

Girl: Zara, teach your sister some manners!

Ali: Enough. Stop it.

Ahmed: Yeah, Wali, come with me. I need to talk to you.

Wali: I don't need anything.

Zara grabs Zoya's arm.

Zoya: Zara… leave me.

Zara: What do you want, Zoya?

Zoya: What do you mean?

Zara: Don't act foolish in front of me.

If you really hate Wali Shah, then why do you keep provoking him?

And if you really love him… why did you leave him?

Zoya looks at her, shocked.

Zoya: Are you mad? I hate him.

Zara: Hate?

Then why are you always interfering with his life?

Why does his presence bother you so much?

Zoya's jaw tightens.

Zoya: I think you need some rest.

Without saying another word, Zoya turns and walks away.

Zara: Zoya… listen—

Zoya doesn't stop.

Scene _ Zayan s leaving

Zayan is packing his bag.

Ahmed: Zayan… what are you doing?

Zayan: Hmm.

Ahmed: Don't tell me you're leaving.

Zayan: I am.

Ali enters.

Ali: What are you both doing here?

He notices the bags.

Ali: Zayan… are you going somewhere?

Ahmed: Bro, Zayan is leaving.

Zayan: Uh… yeah. I have something important to do.

Ali looks at him carefully.

Ali (to Ahmed): Anyway, Ahmed, Wali is calling you.

Ahmed: Me? Okay… but Zayan, don't leave yet.

Zayan (low voice): Ahmed, please don't tell Wali.

Dad told me not to tell him.

Ahmed: Ah… okay.

Ahmed leaves.

Ali turns back to Zayan.

Ali: So… you're lying, right?

Zayan looks at him but doesn't speak.

Ali: Zayan, I know something serious is going on between you and Wali.

You can tell me.

I'll help you.

Zayan: Why?

Don't you support your buddy?

Ali smiles and gestures for Zayan to sit.

Ali: Wali… I know him very well.

He's not someone who thinks with his mind.

He's crazy. Unpredictable.

Ali pauses.

Ali: That's why you need me.

And listen… I don't take sides.

Zara, Zoya, you—all of you are my friends.

I just want to protect my friends.

Zayan looks at him, his voice softening.

Zayan: Ali… if you really want to help, then please…

take care of Zara in my absence. Please.

Ali smiles and pulls Zayan into a hug.

Ali: Don't worry.

I'll talk to Wali.

I hope he understands.

Scene _ Zayan s moving

Zara open his Al friend

Zara start typing

Zara: I see my sister and my boyfriend together I mean he is crying and Zoya comfort him I can't understand I mean I don't doubt on them but still it's bothering me.

AI:

It's okay to feel confused, Zara.

Sometimes the people we love carry pain they don't know how to share.

Comfort doesn't always mean betrayal, and silence doesn't always mean distance.

If something is bothering your heart, don't ignore it—but don't jump to conclusions either.

Trust grows through honesty, not fear.

When the time feels right, talk to him.

Your feelings matter too.

Zara looks at the screen, lost in thought.

Zara: I think it's right…

I should talk to him.

She turns and walks quickly, searching for Zayan.

Suddenly, she bumps into Ahmed.

Ahmed: Hey! Where are you going in such a hurry?

Zara: Sorry—

Have you seen Zayan?

Ahmed hesitates.

Ahmed: Yeah… he's leaving.

Zara's heart skips.

Zara: Leaving?

Where?

Ahmed: I don't know. He just said he has something important to do.

Zara stands frozen for a moment.

Wali stands at the corner, observing everything silently.

His eyes follow Zara as she looks around, clearly searching for someone.

Wali smirks faintly.

Wali (to himself): So… you're looking for him now.

Zara walks past him without noticing.

Wali pushes himself off the wall and speaks calmly.

Wali: Looking for Zayan?

Zara stops.

Zara: Yes. Do you know where he is?

Wali steps closer, his voice slow and deliberate.

Wali: He left.

Zara's face pales.

Zara: Left?

Left where?

Wali tilts his head slightly, watching her reaction.

Wali: Somewhere far enough…

Maybe where truths don't follow.

Zara clenches her fists.

Zara: What do you mean?

Wali leans closer, lowering his voice.

Wali: I mean…

Some people run when the past starts catching up.

Zara looks at him, confused and disturbed.

Zara: Wali, if you know something—just say it.

Wali straightens, his expression unreadable.

Wali: Don't worry, Zara.

Soon… everything will be very clear.

He walks away, leaving Zara standing there—with fear slowly replacing confusion.

Scene: Faisal Shah & Brother-in-law

Faisal Shah enters the room calmly.

Brother-in-law (shocked, forcing a smile):

Oh my goodness… Mr. Shah?

You, here? In my place? I can't believe this.

Faisal (cold, dismissive):

Don't be dramatic.

Faisal sits down in front of him, crossing his legs with authority.

Brother-in-law (nervous chuckle):

So… what brings you here all of a sudden?

Faisal looks straight into his eyes.

Faisal:

That girl is back in Zayan's life.

The brother-in-law's smile fades.

Brother-in-law:

Which girl?

Faisal doesn't answer immediately. His silence is enough.

Brother-in-law (voice shaking):

Wait… you don't mean—

How? How is that even possible?

Faisal:

I have no clue.

But do you remember Wali invited you to our house?

Brother-in-law:

Yes…

So that means—

Wali knows everything, doesn't he?

Faisal exhales slowly.

Faisal:

Hmm…

The room falls silent.

Brother-in-law (worried):

So… what will you do now?

If that girl speaks up, it will destroy you. Your name, your reputation—everything.

Faisal (calm, deadly):

It won't destroy only me.

You'll fall with me.

Brother-in-law (angry, defensive):

You're the one who used money and power to protect your son.

Faisal (leaning forward):

I didn't save only my son.

I saved you as well.

He pauses, his voice firm.

Faisal:

Don't forget—if he is my son, then he is also the grandson of Knight's Group and Industries.

If this comes out, it won't just stain my name.

It will stain yours too.

The brother-in-law swallows hard.

Brother-in-law:

So… what now?

Faisal (without hesitation):

Wali will handle it.

Brother-in-law (shocked):

Wali?

Faisal's lips curve into a faint, dangerous smile.

Brother-in-law (confused, uneasy):

How will he do it?

Wali is still just a teenage boy.

Faisal (calm, assured):

That's exactly why he's perfect.

The brother-in-law looks at him, stunned.

Faisal:

Wali is unpredictable.

Stubborn.

And when he wants something… he gets it.

He pauses, eyes

dark.

Faisal:

He doesn't think with fear.

He doesn't stop at limits.

A slow breath.

Faisal:

That's why he's the only one who can do this—for us.

The silence between them grows heavy.

Faisal stands up, straightening his coat.

Faisal (quietly):

"Some wars are better fought by boys who don't know mercy yet."
