Adam stood in the center of the sitting room, momentarily stunned by the realization that he and Noah had spent a three days together without ever exchanging contact information.
He was even more surprised that Noah had been the one to take the initiative. He took the offered device from Noah's hand and quickly typed his personal number into the keypad.
To verify it, Noah immediately hit the dial button. Adam felt the familiar vibration in his own trouser pocket, pulled his phone out to see the incoming call, and watched as Noah ended the connection with a satisfied click.
Noah immediately ducked his head, his thumbs flying across the screen as he began to save the new contact.
Adam watched him with a curious expression, wondering what kind of label the boy would choose for him. When Noah finally looked up, he found Adam staring at him expectantly.
"What did you save my number as?" Noah asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.
