Noah simply smiled at the overbearing display, deciding it was the perfect opportunity to tease his stressed husband.
"Wow, President Adam, you are being incredibly overbearing tonight. I would really love to leave you alone in here to maintain your dignity, but it looks like you are getting absolutely nowhere with this particular task."
Although there was no visible smoke lingering in the air, most likely because Adam had already opened the large windows to air the room out, Noah could still easily smell the distinct, heavy aroma of severely burnt food permeating the entire space.
Upon hearing Noah's familiar voice, Adam turned around toward the door in complete surprise.
The moment his eyes landed on Noah standing there supported by his cane, he immediately dropped the cooking utensil he was holding and walked quickly across the room.
